Chapter 48: Diamond Indestructible (Part 3)

Chapter 48: Diamond Indestructible (Part 3)

"Raise the bet!" "Show the cards!" "Buy and leave." "Grand Slam!"

Debris rained down, the shattered table emitting a merry, mechanical hum. Catwoman, the dealer, crouched beneath it, trembling. She desperately prayed the high-ranking officials in the room wouldn't notice her little kitty, but reality was far more cruel than she'd imagined. A hand, as black as oil, pierced the table and loomed before her. Catwoman screamed. The hand lifted the entire table and slammed it aside, removing her only barrier.

It was Visav, the second son, dressed as a gentleman, completely mad. He pressed hard on his shoulder, and a stream of black blood flowed from the wound. The blood flowed, swelled, and then boiled, tearing the gentle shell of flesh into pieces and reconstructing the true form of the fallen.

Catwoman's screams turned into ghostly howls as she watched "Second Young Master," enveloped in black blood, transform into a monstrous creature with a waist the size of a gambling table. The creature lacked a lower body, its shriveled upper body adorned with two chicken claw-like hands. Its small, delicate head was etched with a furious expression. Its claws pierced Catwoman's heart!

Catgirl's waist was slippery, and at the last moment, a silver tentacle swung from the side, throwing her toward the other side of the stairs. "Inspector! Monster!!" she cried out, a cry of fear or gratitude unclear. Chu Hengkong retracted the tentacle and, knife in hand, assumed a fighting stance. Three steps away, the eldest daughter, Carmel, revealed her true form as a fallen being. Her legs had become needle-slender, her upper body sturdy, and her head had become the hollow shell of half a broken egg.

The two fallen ones simultaneously dropped towards Chu Heng and roared: "Use your flesh and blood to sacrifice to big brother!" "You will regret being born into this world!"

"What a shameful young master and young lady." Chu Hengkong said.

Visaph took out a handful of peculiarly shaped playing cards, each depicting a human figure in jeweled gemstones that shimmered in the light. The cards flew into the air, expanding and transforming amidst phantom ripples, transforming into eight deformed monsters that resembled Visaph.

The multiplied, voluptuous monster filled the hall. Visafu and his clones simultaneously lunged forward with claws. Chu Hengkong had already zeroed in on the card-throwing entity and, as the cards shifted, he stabbed with his tentacle blade. But his thrust stopped mid-air as a black aura emanated from deep within Visafu's body. The aura carried a powerful thrust, forcibly pushing the blade back.

"Resist the aura!" Carmel screamed.

The same black aura appeared within Visafu's eight clones, expanding at lightning speed, closing in on Chu Hengkong in the center of the hall. Chu Hengkong warily sheathed his blade and leaped, intending to escape the encirclement before making any further plans. But two of Visafu's clones leaped up like bouncy balls, allowing the expanding aura to strike Chu Hengkong's arm, instantly knocking him from the center of the hall into the unenclosed stairwell!

The impact spread from his arm throughout his body, and the dizziness that assaulted his brain was even greater than the impact of the hundred palm strikes. This was Carmel's ability as a particle of light, a "glimmer," to release a powerful repulsive aura through living things. When this ability was combined with Visafu's clone, the threat level skyrocketed.

This time the enemies are not only the Fallen but also the Uplifters, they also possess the ability of Sephira One outside of their abnormal bodies!

Chu Hengkong stabbed the ground with his backhand, slamming on the brakes just before falling into the stairwell. Visafu's clone was hot on his heels. He seized the opportunity, leaped through the halo, and with a diagonal slash, severed the clone's head. However, the head landed with a spark, and a new Visafu clone grew from the fallen head.

The new clone and the headless one simultaneously swung their claws. Chu Hengkong raised his sword to defend himself, but was repelled by the monster's claws. A new aura of resistance slammed into him, and the dull sound of bones shifting echoed deep within his body. This clone was surprisingly a living being that could multiply, and each new clone generated a new aura of resistance. Visafu and his clones took advantage of the chaos to form a circle around him. Ten auras of resistance continuously surged out and spread, smashing into Chu Hengkong with terrifying force!

"I told you! You're going to die miserably!" Visafu laughed heartily. His claw-like deformed arms became an advantage, allowing him to maintain distance while continuously attacking with his long, claw-like nails. Chu Hengkong crossed his arms in defense, and the wall-shattering impact continued to hit him, leaving shocking bloody marks on his arms and face.

Once the circle of clones and haloes was fully formed, the hunted were helpless. Even a desperate attack would only increase their number of enemies. Carmel's heart was filled with the pleasure of revenge. She clapped her hands and laughed loudly, "This is the fate of making an enemy of the family! Kneel down and beg for mercy from Big Brother after death!"

Victory was assured, and for safety's sake, no complications arose; they must maintain their position and wear the enemy down. Yet Visafu still felt a slight unease, the enemy's cold gaze like two sharp knives, chilling him to the bone. He told himself there was no need to panic; the enemy was merely trying to lure him into a vulnerable position. The battle had lasted nearly half a minute; even the strongest enemy would be slain instantly...

No! Thinking of this, Visafu realized that even if the enemy said Potian was just a shrewd hand, the endurance of the particle point one was not enough to allow him to hold out for so long. He should have been shattered by the siege long ago. But under the torn clothes, there was a reflection of black iron. Chu Hengkong was wearing the relic light armor under his outer clothes. If he was deliberately taking the attack...!

Visafu felt a chill run through his body. He leaped back, "Carmel! Change your moves!" But at that moment, Chu Hengkong shifted his stance. Crossing his arms, he spread them apart, his right arm held upright at his side, his left hand locked tightly around his waist. He faced the attack with a fiercely aggressive stance. The moment the aura struck his body, immense power erupted from within.

"break!"

In an instant, the dark halo shattered, and Chu Hengkong stood in the flying light. Carmel's halo was actually shattered in reverse! By the warrior's hard flesh!

He retracted his right fist and leg, his body swung at an exaggerated angle, and his left arm, a tentacle, swung out with the force of wind and thunder. A white sonic boom exploded in the air. This was the very same thunder whip that had shattered the pile of torch corpses. The long-accumulated blow swept across the entire arena, smashing Visafu and his nine clones into a blur of flesh and blood.

The damage he had sustained earlier was genuine, but the regenerative power of his relic armor was sufficient to counteract such injuries. The rest was a matter of willpower. He endured the pain of the aura's blow, twisting his muscles with even greater agony, using secret techniques to transform his body into an indestructible fortress. Then, at the moment of the blow, he reversed his muscles, striking back with nearly double the force.

This was the reason why Chu Hengkong dared to withstand the attack, and it was also the result of his hard training since returning from the swamp.

Longxiang Boxing·Stand still!

"Impossible! How absurd!" Visafu, his body shattered, sank into terror. Chu Hengkong decisively drew his sword and dashed forward, slashing straight at his exposed heart. The barely generated aura sent Visafu flying. Carmel, concentrating the light of resistance into a pistol-like beam, hurled it with a scream. "Die! Ah!" Without her command, she was completely bewildered.

Chu Hengkong dodged the lances, slithering through the halls like a nimble snake. In the blink of an eye, he was beside Carmel. Two sharp blades slashed out like a cross. One slash severed the needle-like legs, while the other shot upwards, carving a sharp, deep cut into the side of Carmel's alien form. The cut was so deep that it exposed her corrupted heart.

"You lowly human! Get out of here!!!" Carmel lost control. Three halos of light appeared on her body simultaneously. The instinct for survival drained her of all her strength, forcing her to push Chu Hengkong away at all costs. But Chu Hengkong simply turned sideways and raised his arm. He was pushed five meters away by the halos, yet he absorbed the blow with his unwavering strength.

Carmel regenerated her lower limbs and fled, crawling across the ground in an ugly centipede-like manner. Her body was rapidly regenerating, and this time she deliberately created snow-white bone armor in an attempt to save her life.

Chu Hengkong exhaled slowly and retracted his right arm. He twisted his waist and stepped forward, his entire body rotating along its central axis. The impact force accumulated from his immobility gathered with this simple movement, and then the tentacles retracted at his waist suddenly rose up.

The silver spear shattered the bone armor and pierced through Carmel's corrupt heart!

(Oh my god, thank you so much for the Silver Alliance Leader's Biography. I really didn't expect that our book would have four Silver Alliance Leaders...)
