Chapter 133: Real Scenery Site

Everyone followed the selector into a large iron gate. Before they even entered, they could feel the eerie and terrifying atmosphere inside.

A blood-red moon hung high in the sky, dotted with small red dots, which flashed from time to time, much like stars.

What meets the eye is the black and red soil and dilapidated old houses, which seem to be the architectural style of the 1970s and 1980s.

A few houses could be seen here and there, with dim lights on inside and faint voices coming from them.

There were no street lights on the road at all, and the only light was the blood-red moon in the sky. Occasionally, there was a whistling sound in the air.

Is the script killing so realistic? Lin Jiaojiao wondered.

The script selector walked in front, she and Lu Chen were a few steps behind, and Zhou Qian and the other two walked at the back.

Lin Jiaojiao was very glad at this moment that she was not walking at the back, otherwise she would always feel like there was someone behind her.

"Lu Chen, have you played scenario number 29?" Lin Jiaojiao asked.

Lu Chen shook his head and said, "No, they didn't make horror movies before. This is my first time experiencing it."

“Is that so?”

Zhou Qian and the other two were also very curious about it. It was really big and real, completely different from before.

In the past, it was just a whole room and some props, and that was it.

This time I really felt like I was there, but it was really scary!

The three of them were huddled together like a string of candied haws.

Lin Jiaojiao quickly walked up to the side of the drama selector and asked curiously, "How did you make the sky here? It's so realistic."

The selector raised his chin slightly with some pride. "This was set up by our new investor. You can think of it as a high-altitude screen, but it's a little more realistic than a screen."

"That's amazing," Lin Jiaojiao praised tactfully. "Are these buildings real?"

"Yes, what else?"

As they were talking, the script selector led everyone to the door of a mud house and handed a script to Lin Jiaojiao.

"Here's the script. This is your initial venue."

As he was about to take the others away, Lin Jiaojiao was stunned!

What happened? Why did they just leave her alone?

Looking at the pitch-black yard, it was as dark as a black hole that could swallow people.

Lin Jiaojiao didn't dare to go in at all.

"Lu Chen." Seeing that Lu Chen was still standing there, Lin Jiaojiao quickly pulled him aside and asked anxiously, "What's going on?"

"Don't be afraid, Jiaojiao." Lu Chen rubbed the girl's head and explained, "This is immersive. Everyone only knows their own story."

"This should be one of the copies of the infinite flow scenario. If my guess is correct, you should be a native, and we should be players. We will come back later and should live here as well."

As Lu Chen spoke, he walked into the yard and turned on the lights in every room.

Although it wasn't very bright, Lin Jiaojiao felt much safer and wasn't as scared anymore.

"Lu Chen, you're so awesome." The girl said with a smile, then pointed at the few people who had already walked some distance away, "Lu Chen, you should hurry over too. I'm not so scared anymore."

Only after Lu Chen's back gradually disappeared from her sight did Lin Jiaojiao turn around and walk into the house.

The gate is very old, as if it were made of wood that has been there for many years. There is a loess wall that is one meter high and three loess thatched houses. The interior of the house is surprisingly simple.

Lin Jiaojiao looked around and found that the only furniture was a bed and a table, both made of wood.

Lin Jiaojiao sat down on a small stool and began to read the script given by the script selector.

After a while, Lin Jiaojiao finished reading.

As Lu Chen said, it was only this part of hers.

This character is called Erniu, a native of this place, and can also be called an NPC.

The plot says that her brother Dazhuang will pick up five classmates in the afternoon and ask her to help prepare meals at home.

Lin Jiaojiao changed into a gray top and pants that were very characteristic of the era and were placed in the middle of the table.

Fortunately, these clothes are new and deliberately made to look old, otherwise she would be a little afraid to wear them because they look dirty.

The whole yard was empty, with only her there. Lin Jiaojiao walked slowly to the thatched shed on the east side of the yard.

Inside was a large iron pot, a simple stove, and a pile of neatly arranged firewood.

Lin Jiaojiao smacked her lips twice and finally found a flaw. How could an ordinary farmer burn real firewood every day?

When she was a child, her family burned whatever they had, basically crop stalks. They also had firewood, but that had to be cut down from trees. Most trees had owners, so at most they could cut down trees grown by their own family.

But now, there are very few trees, and our family hasn’t used an earthen stove for many years.

Lin Jiaojiao looked at the cooking area and her eyes lit up.

There are really dishes!

And it’s ready-made! Cooked!

It was placed in a large transparent insulated box, covered with a gray cloth.

That's so thoughtful. Doesn't that mean she doesn't have to do anything?

Lin Jiaojiao was swaying when a man holding a hoe hurried in, scooped a bucket of cold water and poured it into his mouth.

The man was tall and looked gentle, but his hands moved roughly.

Lin Jiaojiao didn't know how to react...

"Erniu, how is the food preparation going?" the man asked, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

You don't have to act so realistically, right?

Lin Jiaojiao watched the man's movements and wondered in her heart, is this Erniu's brother Dazhuang?

And this is a staff member?

So dedicated!

"Are you Dazhuang?" Lin Jiaojiao asked.

"Yes." The staff nodded. "I'm the plot guide, and I play the role of your brother. Please call me brother from now on."
