Chapter 50: Making a Fortune



"No, it wasn't easy coming here, but luckily I found a golden nugget that was delivered to my door, haha."

The man's laughter stopped abruptly.

The woman whipping the cart in front turned her head in confusion. When she saw the situation in the cart clearly, she was shocked and her eyes widened like bells.

Her man had a large, gleaming white knife at his neck, and behind him was the fair-skinned girl who was supposed to have been tied up and passed out in the car.

The woman screamed, "What are you doing!"

"Hold still. Put your hands up!"

Jiang Henian held the handle of the knife and pushed it inward without any hesitation, and blood immediately flowed from the man's neck.

The man felt pain, a distorted and ferocious expression appeared on his dark face, and he slowly raised his hands.

"You, stop the car, now!"

"Okay, okay, I'll stop, I'll stop, don't move!"

Aunt Hua pulled the reins hard and stopped the galloping ox cart with a gasp. The ox's nose made a puffing sound, and it kicked its hoof, and the cart frame shook.

Jiang Henian's face was pale, he held the dagger firmly against the man's back in one hand, and held the bone-chopping knife firmly in the other hand. The veins on the back of his white hand were bulging from the force.

"Girl, let go of your uncle, what are you doing?"

Aunt Hua looked at her man nervously, trying to put on a harmless smile to coax Jiang Henian.

"Shut up!"

The girl's usually lively and bright cat-like eyes were now tightly closed. Jiang Henian imitated the look He Jinshan had when he was a master and tried to scare her. His eyes were dark, calm, and cold.

Don't let yourself show any fear in front of these two vicious human traffickers.

"I say, you do."

"Otherwise I'll chop off his head!"
