Chapter 22 The Shura Field
Before Su Xi could react, Feng Jinchen grabbed her forearm and yanked her off the bed.
Su Xi's brain suddenly swelled, her face turned pale, and she gagged again.
"Su Xi, if you don't dare to confront them, you don't need to put on such a pitiful act, do you?"
Feng Jinchen said this, but when he saw the woman's pale face, which even had a hint of sallowness and illness, he was also startled.
He probably didn't pay much attention to it, probably because of motion sickness.
However, he did not urge him further.
Su Xi rested on the bed for a while, and her face gradually looked better.
"Have some water." Feng Jinchen handed over a glass of warm water, trying to keep his voice gentle.
Su Xi was a little thirsty, but remembering the milk that had been drugged earlier, she expressionlessly walked past Feng Jinchen and poured herself a glass of warm water to drink.
Feng Jinchen sighed heavily.
Once in the car, Su Xi immediately fastened her seatbelt and said coldly, "If you don't want me to throw up in your face again, drive slowly."
Feng Jinchen didn't respond, but drove much more steadily, even paying special attention to speed bumps.
Tianjue Group.
Feng Jinchen pulled Su Xi into the office and immediately felt a tangible sense of oppression coming towards them.
Feng Jue sat casually in the boss's chair, like an emperor sitting on a dragon throne, his brows slightly furrowed, exuding a chilling aura.
Feng Jinchen had come to confront him, but before he could even speak, he felt like he was being pricked by needles. It was as if he were the one at fault.
However, he still forced himself to say, "Uncle, you should have listened to the voice message I sent you, right?"
Feng Jue didn't look at him; his obsidian-like eyes swept over Su Xi.
The woman looked rather listless today, appearing sickly.
Indeed, few people can be happy if they end up with a man like that.
Noticing Feng Jue's gaze falling on Su Xi, Feng Jinchen took a step to the side to block the man's view, and his gaze became much sharper.
He stood ramrod straight. Even if someone else coveted his wife, he was always right, no matter where he went.
Feng Jue smiled slightly. "Sit."
Feng Jinchen pulled Su Xi to sit behind him, his tall figure completely blocking the petite woman from view.
Su Xi secretly let out a breath. She didn't even dare to look Feng Jue in the eye; this awkward situation made her so embarrassed she was practically digging her toes in frustration.
Feng Jinchen finally did something decent.
However, the next second, Feng Jue slightly turned his eyes and directly called out, "Su Xi."
Su Xi trembled and could only meet Feng Jue's eyes, revealing an awkward yet polite smile.
What do you think?
"I... to tell you the truth. I just sent the message to the wrong person." After Su Xi finished speaking, she suddenly remembered that she had drunkenly and lewdly shouted that she wanted to sleep with ten young men. In Feng Jinchen's eyes, this was no different from cheating.
Even more egregiously, they accused her of emotional infidelity.
He easily caught the worry in the woman's eyes, and frowned as he looked at Feng Jinchen, "What about you? If there really is something between her and me in private?"
He chuckled softly as he said this, as if he found it utterly absurd and laughable.
Moreover, he only does it openly.
Feng Jue chuckled lightly before raising an eyebrow and asking, "You want a divorce?"
He didn't want to answer this question. But the person opposite him was his uncle, and Feng Jinchen felt an invisible pressure envelop him, forcing him to think about the problem. He quickly shook his head.
Even if they divorce, he must never be the one at fault.
He not only had no evidence against Su Xi and his uncle, but his uncle was also someone he could not afford to offend.
Upon hearing Feng Jinchen's reply, Feng Jue's handsome and intelligent dark eyes quickly swept over the two of them. He then took out his phone with one hand, slender fingers swiping, and said calmly, "It was indeed a wrong message. Take a look."
Feng Jinchen got up and walked over, glancing at the message with a suspicious look on his face. It was indeed a message sent, but who knew if it was a message about a secret tryst?
Su Xi suddenly panicked, mustered her courage and blinked at Feng Jue, then blinked a few more times in fear that he might not understand.
You can't release that kind of audio recording. You're his uncle, you have it, just tell the truth. There's no need to produce this evidence.
"Niece-in-law, are your eyes bothering you?"
Su Xi, "..."
She wouldn't dare say such a thing even in her wildest dreams; drinking really does lead to trouble.
Su Xi watched helplessly as Feng Jue pressed play.
"Ye Qingqian..." A familiar voice came from the microphone, and Su Xi resignedly lowered her head.
Then she suddenly raised her head and looked intently at Feng Jue, who was also looking over at the same time.
The two people's eyes met.
Su Xi was moved to tears, while Feng Jue remained calm and composed.
The voice that followed was indeed hers, but it wasn't about sleeping with a young man; instead, it became, "I'm feeling down, I drank some alcohol, and I'm not feeling well right now. Come pick me up."
The character of a lovelorn woman who drowns her sorrows in alcohol was immediately established.
This is high technology.
Feng Jinchen's eyes flickered uncertainly, but he mustered his courage and said, "But you later carried her into the apartment."
Feng Jue's expression suddenly turned icy, his face cold and devoid of warmth, and the aura of fear caused Feng Jinchen's back to break out in a thin sweat.
After a long pause, the man finally spoke slowly, "Su Xi was drunk. Is there a problem with carrying her upstairs? I was only in and out of the room for three seconds. Didn't you see me, or are you just a three-second man?"
Every word was spoken calmly and without any emotion, yet Feng Jinchen felt as if he were being stared at by a venomous snake, and his breath caught in his throat.
"This is the first and last time I'll explain. I don't have that much free time. Don't bother me with this kind of thing again, or else..."
Feng Jinchen shuddered violently and chuckled awkwardly, "I was being stubborn. Uncle, sorry to bother you."
He turned to slip away.
Did I say you could leave?
Feng Jinchen froze, on the verge of tears. It really was easy to get in but hard to get out.
Feng Jue tilted his head. "Su Xi, you have something to do first."
Su Xi knew that her uncle was going to give Feng Jinchen a dressing down and settle scores later, so she turned away readily.
"Wait a minute."
Su Xi turned around, her body trembled slightly, and a chill crept up her.
Feng Jue's gaze was serious, dangerous, sharp, and cold; his tone was commanding.
"No more drinking."
"Understood, Uncle."
Su Xi's attitude in admitting her mistake was good, and the dangerous aura that had been locking onto her dissipated.
Su Xi quickly made her escape.
She didn't go back to the villa, but took a taxi directly back to Hongchen Ouyuan.
"Uncle, I'm sorry, I cared too much about Su Xi..."
"You care? So you got pregnant by another woman?"
Feng Jinchen suddenly looked up, his eyes filled with shock as he looked at Feng Jue. This time he was truly panicked. "Uncle, I beg you to keep this a secret. I will definitely handle that woman."
"You should beg your wife. This scandal is affecting the Feng family's stock price, and the old man and woman won't tolerate you anymore. You should do as you see fit."
When Feng Jinchen walked out of the office, his palms were still damp.
Once in the Bentley, he immediately dialed Wang Dong's number. "Keep Wu Yaoyao's matter discreet. I won't allow anyone to know. Especially not my uncle and Su Xi."
Back at the villa, there wasn't a trace of Su Xi.
The maid stammered, "Madam has moved out."
What?
Two flames suddenly ignited in Feng Jinchen's eyes.
