Chapter 20 Hiding Pregnancy While on Overseas Mission
The woman in the red dress, Wu Qingluan, was their interviewer.
She frowned, her face tense, and said indignantly, "Zhu Ziyu's million-dollar Dior bracelet is missing. Who took it?"
The crowd looked at each other, but no one responded.
"Since no one admits it, we'll have to search everyone's bags one by one. We at Guangyao absolutely cannot let a thief in."
"If they don't cooperate, we'll have to call the police."
Everyone was there to apply for a job and earn a living, and since they were all upright and had nothing to hide, they readily handed over their bags.
Wu Qingluan checked each item one by one. When it was Su Xi's turn, she gave her a meaningful look and opened the bag in a businesslike manner.

Before she could finish speaking, Su Xi held up her phone screen in front of her and covered her mouth.
Zhu Ziyu glanced at it and instantly looked like a duck whose neck had been grabbed. After a long while, she pointed at Su Xi's nose and asked, "How dare you record a video?"
Everyone craned their necks and saw the video on the screen freeze on Zhu Ziyu putting the jade bracelet into Su Xi's bag, the dog sneaking around with a sly look on its face.
Everyone sighed again, and the various glances made Zhu Ziyu blush and glare at Su Xi even more angrily.
If looks could kill, Su Xi would be dead by now.
"Just playing along." Su Xi sneered.

"Shut up. Zhu Ziyu, you are not welcome in our company. Please leave immediately."
Seeing the warning in Wu Qingluan's eyes, Zhu Ziyu was stunned for a moment. To everyone's surprise, she threw down her bag and quit.
She pointed at Wu Qingluan's nose and angrily cursed, "What brand of plastic bag are you, that you can hold more than me? It was clearly you who instructed me to slander Su Xi and promised to let me get the job."
You want to discard me now that I've served my purpose? You'll have to ask me, Zhu Ziyu, if I agree.

Manager Shen Congxuan rushed over upon hearing the news.

Shen Congxuan then looked at Zhu Ziyu, "Since you've framed someone else, we won't call the police. But we're a small organization, so please do as you see fit, Miss Zhu."
Zhu Ziyu blushed with embarrassment and left with the words, "That Wu Qingluan is no good bird. Guangyao is just waiting to be in trouble by keeping someone like that around."
Upon hearing such harsh words, Wu Qingluan's face instantly turned pale and then flushed, as if a palette of colors had been overturned, a truly spectacular sight.
He clenched his fists tightly to keep from losing his composure, maintaining an air of innocence.
The show was over, and Su Xi was booked on the spot to start work on Wednesday, while the others went home to wait for further notice.
Su Xi drove directly to Hongchen Ouyuan near Guangyao, found the apartment she had her eye on, and rented it for three months.
The job she applied for would require her to be stationed in the capital in three months. By then, her pregnancy should be showing, which would be a good opportunity to conceal it.
She didn't have many belongings. She called a moving company to bring over some daily necessities, took a nap, and then drove to work at Feng's.
I had just sat down when I was called to the office.
Su Xi looked at Feng Jinchen with suspicion, a hint of wariness in her eyes.
Feng Jinchen's eyes were deep and unfathomable as he carefully examined Su Xi.
There was still no news from the investigation that night when he returned to China, so he couldn't make trouble. He just smiled gently and said, "Xixi, you've finished all your work. I've also told them not to assign you any more work. Just rest in the office and watch your husband work. Don't overwork yourself."
Su Xi always felt that Feng Jinchen was up to something, but it would be a fool not to take advantage of a good deal, so he rarely gave his wife the green light to rest.
He then asked, "Won't they dock my pay?"
Feng Jinchen looked speechless and hurt, then feigned anger and said, "Xixi, is that the kind of person you think I am?"
Su Xi didn't reply. She found a comfortable spot to sit down and openly browsed Guangyao Technology's company information, preparing for work.
When she got tired, she went to the nearby fitness area, picked up some equipment suitable for pregnant women, and massaged her legs and back. She even took a nap on a massage chair in between. She didn't look at Feng Jinchen once the whole time.
I clock out at the designated time.
Feng Jinchen was helpless and speechless. "Wife, can't you spend some time with your husband?"
"I'm tired, I want to rest." Su Xi picked up her bag and left. Her indifferent tone caused the smile on the man's face to vanish, and his expression darkened.
As she closed the door, Su Xi froze, her eyes burning with tears and a dull ache in her heart.
One is inside the door, the other outside; they are now separated by an insurmountable chasm. From the moment I witnessed his infidelity, no matter what he did, they could never go back.
No sooner had Su Xi left than Feng Jinchen received a video from his subordinate.
After watching the video with a stiff expression, the man almost crushed the phone in his hand in two.
Su Xi actually went to a male model restaurant.
She really was with Feng Jue.
"Good, very good." The last glimmer of light in the man's eyes shattered completely.
After sitting there for an unknown amount of time, the dejected man stood up, his tall figure staggering slightly.
He grabbed his suit jacket, intending to confront Su Xi, when his subordinate called, "President Feng, Wu Yaoyao has been caught."
Su Xi became estranged from him entirely because of this despicable woman.
A murderous glint flashed in Feng Jinchen's eyes, and he drove straight there.
He pulled open the car door and was met with Wu Yaoyao looking at him with a trembling expression. Her eyes showed embarrassment, sadness, and deep affection for him.
Feng Jinchen's heart suddenly softened.
His face was cold and icy as he strode into the car, his voice indifferent, "To the hospital."
Wu Yaoyao's face turned deathly pale instantly, her body trembled involuntarily, and the next second her stomach growled.
Feng Jinchen frowned and looked at her.
The frail woman gave a bitter smile, gazing at him with pleading eyes.
"Mr. Feng, could you treat me to one last meal? So that our children can have one last meal together?"
