Chapter 118 Affectionate Eyes

Chapter 118 Exchanging glances

The surrounding air suddenly turned icy. "Say that again!"

"I'm telling you, how could you sleep with the women I've slept with?"

With a single glance from Feng Jue, the bodyguard immediately lifted Feng Jinchen up and pressed down on his shoulders.

The man stood up, walked over step by step, and looked at Feng Jinchen as if he were a dead man. He raised his hand and slapped him three times in a row.

For the sake of symmetry, another slap.

No matter how many times you slap me, it won't change the fact that you picked up my used shoes.

Slap! Slap! Slap! Several more slaps were given.

Feng Jinchen spat out a mouthful of blood. "Feng Jue, you've completely exposed yourself. You're so proud of sleeping with the women I've slept with and picking up the women I've used? I may lose to you in many ways, but this is where I absolutely crush you, hahaha."

Feng Jue wiped his hands with disinfectant wipes. "Su Xi must have been blind to have fallen for you."

"I'd rather not get my hands dirty than hit you." Feng Jue gestured with his eyes, and a bodyguard stepped forward and raised his hand high.

"You dare!"

Snap!

One slap landed, followed immediately by another. The sound of slaps echoed throughout the carriage.

"Beat him until he reveals Su Xi's whereabouts."

He might have been able to withstand being beaten by Feng Jue. But to be insulted by a mere bodyguard was an insult he simply couldn't swallow.

"I'll talk!"

The bodyguard stopped and stepped aside.

"Su Xi is at Qiushui Villa." Feng Jinchen felt like his face no longer belonged to him, and his eyes were filled with bloodlust as he looked at Feng Jue.

The car drove straight to the villa.

Su Xi was locked in the storage room. She hadn't had a drop of water all night and into the morning. Her lips were cracked, and she hadn't eaten a single grain of rice. Her stomach was flat, and she felt dizzy in waves.

That was bearable, but what was even more terrifying was the damp and stuffy room, with centipedes and millipedes crawling all over her. Su Xi curled up on a table, barely daring to close her eyes.

Realizing it was getting light outside and that there should be servants moving around nearby, Su Xi wanted to knock on the door for help. She could hold on, but the baby in her belly couldn't.

As soon as she stepped off the table, a strong wave of dizziness washed over her, and her mind instantly plunged into a swamp of darkness.

Before losing consciousness, Su Xi gripped the table leg tightly to avoid falling heavily to the ground.

Upon learning that Feng Jinchen had locked Su Xi in a sealed, semi-underground storage room, Feng Jue felt an urge to grab him by the collar and punch him a few more times.

But saving lives was the priority, so before he could even get the key to open the door, Feng Jue kicked it open three times.

Even Feng Jinchen was startled to see Su Xi lying on the ground. He tried to go forward, but was swung to the ground by an arm.

Feng Jue rushed in, bent down, picked up Su Xi, and walked straight out the door.

Upon seeing the woman's dry, cracked, and pale lips, and how she looked like a shrunken rose, Feng Jinchen's pupils suddenly constricted.

"Uncle, where are you taking my wife?"

"The hospital," Feng Jue's icy voice came, "You'd better not follow me, or I might just beat you to death."

Locking his wife in the storage room of his mistress's villa—what a ridiculous idea!

Feng Jinchen suddenly stopped in his tracks. How could he have fainted after spending just one night in a dark room?

Suddenly remembering something, he grabbed Wu Yaoyao and lifted her up, his handsome face instantly contorted with rage. "Tell me, did you bring her water and food? Did you turn on the exhaust fan?"

Wu Yaoyao panicked for a moment, but quickly pointed at the maid next to her and scolded, "I told her to take good care of Sister Su, check on her every hour, and bring her food and drinks every three hours. She was being lazy, it has nothing to do with me."

The maid was so frightened that she knelt on the ground, her face full of distress, stammering and not daring to say anything. But Wu Yaoyao's expression said it all.

Feng Jinchen slapped the woman several times, saying, "You're two-faced, you disgust me."

"Mr. Feng, I'm sorry, I forgot."

Bang! Bang!

Feng Jinchen grabbed her hair and slammed her face against the wall. Her forehead immediately turned black and blue, and her nose almost broke off. She was in so much pain that snot and blood streamed down her face.

Having experienced the painful ordeal of being beaten into telling the truth last time, Wu Yaoyao burst into tears, genuinely repenting, "I'm sorry, President Feng, I love you too much."

I wanted to be magnanimous and get along well with Sister Su, but she hurt you in every way, and I hate her. I was blinded by greed for a moment; I really didn't expect such serious consequences. Please, please forgive me…”

Feng Jinchen then stopped, pushed the woman into the storage room, and, still not satisfied, kicked her in the buttocks.

Wu Yaoyao suddenly slumped onto the shelf, the dust she kicked up covering her face and mouth.

"You'll stay inside and reflect on your actions. Su Xi stayed one night, so you'll stay three. If there's a next time, it won't be so easy for you."

Feng Jinchen drove to a beauty salon for treatment, otherwise the slap mark on his face would make him unable to lift his head.

A beautiful young woman wanted to get close to a rich and handsome man, but was scared away by the man's murderous glare.

Feng Jue carried Su Xi into the car, and the car drove to the nearest hospital.

Seeing the woman's dry, chapped lips, which indicated dehydration, Feng Jue took a mouthful of Evian and fed it directly to her mouth until her mouth was no longer so dry.

Remembering that the woman had fainted due to low blood sugar last time, Feng Jue put a piece of candied fruit in his mouth and swallowed it after making sure the honey had completely dissolved before he felt at ease.

He then took a damp tissue and applied it to the woman's lips, repeating this several times until her lips gradually regained their fullness and moisture.

The car stopped at the hospital, and as the brakes came on, Su Xi slowly opened her eyes.

She found herself lying in the crook of the man's neck, her eyes meeting his resolute chin, and her nose filled with the familiar, crisp fragrance.

The dust from her own clothes smeared onto the man's cheeks and suit.

Su Xi was moved for a moment.

"woke up?"

"Um."

The man picked Su Xi up and carried her out of the car. "I'm taking you to the hospital for a check-up."

Upon realizing they were in a hospital, Su Xi quickly said, "Uncle, I'm fine, it's just low blood sugar."

"It's better to get it checked out for peace of mind."

Liu Cheng pressed the button to open the elevator, and Feng Jue walked straight in.

Su Xi was filled with anxiety. Her uncle was incredibly observant; what if he found out she was pregnant...?

Just then, a gurgling sound rang out in the quiet elevator, and Su Xi blushed instantly, burying her face in the man's arms.

"Uncle, I'm really fine, I just want to eat."

The woman's voice was barely audible, her warm breath brushing against his neck. Feng Jue's brows softened. "Let's go to the restaurant."

Upon arriving at the restaurant's VIP area, the warm and delicious breakfast gradually revitalized Su Xi, and her cheeks regained their rosy hue.

Feng Jue saw this and finally felt relieved.

"Thank you, Uncle."

"Where to next?" the man asked casually, stirring his coffee.

"Go to Guangyao."

"Your health is the most important thing. At the very least, take half a day off to rest."

"good."

Feng Jue smiled gently, a rare occurrence for him. He was surprised that the woman was so obedient and accommodating.

He drove the woman to her rented apartment and watched her go upstairs.

The curtains swayed, and the woman smiled and waved to him. Feng Jue raised an eyebrow before leaving.

In the luxury car under the shade of a large tree, Feng Jinchen watched the couple exchanging glances as they went up and down the stairs, his handsome face turning faintly green.

He took a few deep breaths, picked up a bunch of sunflowers, and went straight upstairs.

Su Xi was just about to take a shower when she heard a knock on the door. She thought it was her uncle, but when she opened the door, she found it was Feng Jinchen. It was too late to close the door.
