"Su Xi, how dare you come to a place like this?" The man leaned closer, lowering his voice.

Su Xi looked up at the man. Not far behind him stood Wu Yaoyao, who was looking at her with a smug and arrogant expression.

Su Xi looked into the man's eyes and said calmly, "Of course I received an invitation."

Su Xi smiled enigmatically, "I heard that your wife also receives invitations."
Feng Jinchen scoffed, "I've already given my wife's spot to Wu Yaoyao. I've thrown all the previous invitations in the trash. I did this to protect you, but I didn't expect you to be so self-deprecating. Tell me, who brought you in?"

Su Xi frowned. "It has nothing to do with Feng Jue. If you're not afraid of being punished by your grandparents for badmouthing him, then go ahead and say it."
Feng Jinchen was stunned.
Seeing that the woman didn't seem to be lying, the man raised an eyebrow suspiciously. "If it's not Feng Jue, then it's another man. Su Xi, the second trial is tomorrow, and you're practically handing me leverage. Are you that kind? Or that stupid?"

Su Xi had assumed this place would have some business exchanges, but she was surprised to find it full of snobbish people. She coldly said, "Arrogant at first, then obsequious; it's truly laughable. Get out!"

Before the words were finished, a sarcastic and mocking voice rang out.
"This gentleman is dressed like a respectable person, are you a bumpkin? Is this your first time at a dark banquet? You've described this otherwise high-class event as a den of iniquity, you'll be held legally responsible for that."
