Chapter 91 Discovered Something Remarkable

Chapter 91 A Remarkable Discovery

"Brother Shaofan, are you really not going to let Wanqing go? I was forced into this. How can that ugly and old man compare to you? I really had no choice. Please give me another chance."

She was about to pounce on him and throw herself into his arms.

"Get out!" Gong Shaofan shoved the woman away. Now, whenever he saw this woman, he felt like he was being cuckolded, and he wished he had never met her.

He finally began to understand Ye Qingqian's feelings about being entangled with him.

Seeing Gong Shaofan's heartlessness, Xia Wanqing's tears rolled down her cheeks, and her voice choked with sobs, "Brother Shaofan, I don't ask to marry into the Gong family, can you just keep me outside? I promise to take good care of you every day."

"Get lost! I'll support you, and you'll be the one cuckolding me? Xia Wanqing, if you harass me again, I'll call the police."

After saying that, he spat and strode away.

The man's fierce and bloodthirsty eyes were like those of a hawk, frightening Xia Wanqing so much that she dared not chase after him any further.

The woman was filled with resentment. Why were all the men she encountered so shameless? Thinking of Feng Jue and Feng Jinchen, her eyes burned with rage. Why did Su Xi get all the benefits? She refused to accept it.

Since Feng Hanhai rarely came back, Feng Jinchen took Su Xi to a villa on the hillside for dinner.

Seeing that Wu Yaoyao was also there, and Liu Yufeng was looking at her with a smug and gloomy expression, the two of them were acting like a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, and Su Xi's fingers still unconsciously clenched.

Upon seeing Feng Jue, Feng Jinchen's face darkened. He walked over and pulled Liu Yufeng aside. "Mom, why did you bring her along?"

Liu Yufeng didn't take it seriously. "If someone like Su Xi, who can't have children, can come, why can't my precious grandson? Last time, that woman made your mother kneel in the ancestral hall all night. I was already being magnanimous by not kicking her out of the villa."

Feng Jinchen rubbed his temples, feeling a bit of a headache.

In the past, he would have sent someone to bring Wu Yaoyao back directly, but considering that she might be the daughter of the Mo Group, he decided to turn a blind eye.

Seeing that Feng Jinchen had actually compromised, Feng Jue looked at Su Xi with a slightly mocking gaze. The latter avoided his gaze and walked to the other side.

Feng Qinyue, arm in arm with Wu Yaoyao, blocked their way. "Su Xi, I didn't expect you to be so shameless. You even dare to come to my house? Since you're here, why don't you kneel down in front of my mother and beg for forgiveness? My mother knelt down for one night, you have to kneel down for three days and three nights."

"If I have the ability to make your mother kneel, then you kneel down and let me see."

Feng Qinyue exploded, "You dare make me kneel? Who gave you the guts?"

"It seems you know very well that it was the old man who made your mother kneel. What's the point of pretending to be mentally challenged? If you're not happy about it, then make the old man kneel back for you, if you dare to say it."

"You!" Feng Qinyue stomped her foot. This Su Xi was so sharp-tongued that she wanted to tear her mouth apart. However, she caught a dangerous aura out of the corner of her eye, which made her instantly retract her thoughts of attacking.

Wu Yaoyao smiled and said in a light voice, "Miss Su, don't you think it's beneath your dignity to argue with a child?"

"You shameless mistress, how dare you come and steal my place? Don't you feel ashamed?"

Wu Yaoyao stroked her belly, "The man I love was stolen by you to be my husband, and the father of my son was taken by you. Aren't you shameless and hateful?"

Su Xi was utterly amused by this bizarre logic. It seems that these days, even being a mistress requires talent; otherwise, you'll just become a man's disposable plaything.

"What are you talking about?" Feng Jinchen walked over.

Seeing the man standing next to Su Xi, Wu Yaoyao bit her lip in grievance, her eyes immediately welling up with tears. "Miss Su doesn't seem to welcome me. Maybe I should leave."

The man clearly took it seriously. "If you want to leave, I'll send someone to take you back."

Wu Yaoyao was speechless.

“Sister Wu, you can’t leave. If anyone should leave, it should be her.” Feng Qinyue pulled Wu Yaoyao. “Come on, let’s go over there to talk, so we don’t get tainted by someone’s bad luck.”

"Xixi, it was my mother who made the decision on her own; I had no idea about it at all," the man said, looking ashamed.

"But you tacitly agreed, didn't you?" Su Xi was too lazy to watch this extremely hypocritical man's performance and turned to leave.

"You can't even control a woman, you're utterly useless." Feng Hanhai walked over unnoticed and immediately began to mock him.

Upon seeing his father, Feng Jinchen narrowed his eyes slightly. He wanted to investigate what his father was up to outside, but the people he sent out couldn't find any information.

I simply asked directly, "Dad, do you have a new family outside? Or are you doing something shady?"

Feng Hanhai's shrewd eyes were like those of a hawk, and the mockery in his eyes deepened. "Are you still a baby who hasn't been weaned? From now on, you just need to take good care of me and support me in my old age. You don't need to care what I do. As for the mess you've made, I don't have the time to clean up your mess. Don't come looking for me even if the sky falls."

Feng Jinchen's eyes were clouded with gloom, and his hands clenched unconsciously. His father was definitely keeping women outside the marriage, perhaps more than one. Where did he put his mother?

There was still some time before dinner. Seeing Feng Qinyue talking to Wu Yaoyao and Feng Jinchen's family of three also talking, Su Xi went upstairs and secretly slipped into Feng Hanhai's study.

Su Xi had learned some lock-picking techniques in her spare time. After much searching, she found a well-hidden small box, took out a wire, and skillfully turned it a few times to open it.

There was a stack of documents inside. Just as Su Xi was about to open it, she suddenly heard the sound of the door lock turning.

She took the small box and hid under the tea table next to the desk.

She had just scouted the location; there was a hidden space under the desk that led directly to the air conditioning room on the balcony, and one could climb down from there.

The sound of leather shoes scraping the floor came from behind her. Instead of sitting at the desk as she had expected, she sat at the tea table.

Su Xi held her breath, but still inhaled a familiar, chilling scent. Before she could react, a large, well-defined hand reached out and grabbed her arm.

He forcefully pulled her out from between the man's knees.

Su Xi lost her balance and, in her panic, ended up sitting on the man's lap, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck.

She immediately released her grip after settling in, but the man's burning touch still traveled through her arms, causing her heart to race instantly. She glanced away, looking down at something else.

Peering through the gap in the curtains, she could clearly see several people, but she had completely forgotten to look at Feng Jue. Perhaps subconsciously, she didn't feel that this man posed any threat to her?

The man's face was colder than before, his voice deep and resonant, "Su Xi, you lied to me last time. After searching my room, you came to search my older brother's room. What exactly are you looking for?"

"Do you know that the person the entire Feng family should least provoke isn't Old Master Feng, but Feng Hanhai? Do you have a death wish?"

Su Xi bit her lip. "This isn't the place to talk." She tried to get up, but the man's large hand gently pressed her down.

"You know this isn't the place to talk?" The man tilted his head slightly, noticing the group below were still chatting, completely unaware that two people were missing.

His gaze fell on the woman's hand, and without saying a word, he snatched the small box, opened it, and took out the documents inside.

Su Xi leaned forward to look too, her cheek accidentally brushing against the man's cheek, their black hair intertwined, as if she were falling into his arms.

The man turned his head and looked at her, his gaze intense, and he was so close that they could almost hear each other's breath. Su Xi blushed and quickly sat up straight.

She tried to stand up, but the tea table blocked her way, so she was forced to remain sitting on the man's lap, biting her lip as she looked at the documents in his hand.

The man looked at the documents, his expression gradually changing from casual to serious, and finally his face changed drastically.

She could even hear the man's heartbeat suddenly quicken.

Feng Jue has always remained calm even when Mount Tai collapses before him; he must have discovered something extraordinary.
