Chapter 127 Dissatisfaction
Su Xi's almond-shaped eyes flickered, revealing a hint of doubt, but more so astonishment and panic.
"Mr. Feng, why are you closing the store?"
"Aren't you going to thank me? You can't just say it without doing something else, can you?"
He grabbed the woman's waist, pressed her against the wall, and stared straight into her eyes.
Su Xi lowered her eyes, her gaze fixed on the outline of a man's chest muscles defined by a snow-white shirt.
The scent that enters the nose is a captivating, cool, masculine fragrance.
There's a subtle, hormonal scent about it.
She desperately wanted to escape, feeling so constrained she was on the verge of death, and for a moment she couldn't even breathe.
His cool fingers lifted her chin, forcing her to look him in the eye.
Su Xi's fist clenched involuntarily as she met the man's captivating eyes.
The man's fingertips slowly moved from her chin to her lips, gently rubbing them.
The sensation of her fingertips traveled down her lips and spread throughout her body, causing Su Xi's gaze towards the man to waver slightly.
The man suddenly lowered his head, his handsome face magnified in his pupils.
Su Xi closed her eyes.
The expected soft touch did not come, but the man's breath brushed against her lips, making them slightly moist.
The man slowly raised his head, and the warm breath gradually faded away.
Her chin was pinched again, and Su Xi opened her eyes, meeting the man's teasing gaze.
"You disgust me, yet you've gone to such lengths for your brother. You really are flexible and adaptable."
"I told you I wouldn't touch you again, have you forgotten?"
"I have no interest in you whatsoever."
With each word the man spoke, Su Xi's face grew paler and paler, and her gaze towards him slowly turned icy.
Feng Jue smiled and said, "You can stay this cold and aloof whenever you see me in the future. I don't like your hot-and-cold attitude."
Su Xi's eyes flickered slightly. What she said to the man today was indeed a bit excessive, and it was understandable that he was angry.
Now that things are out in the open, she is much more at ease. "President Feng, I'm not cold-hearted, I'm just a bit aloof, that's always been my nature. I think it would be better for us to go back to our previous nodding acquaintances, that would be better for both of us."
Suddenly, she thought of something and smiled. "I know you don't want to see me. I'll only cause you trouble. Once things are over between Feng Jinchen and me, I'll leave Luocheng with my family and never appear in front of you again."
After Su Xi finished speaking, she grasped the man's fingers, took his hand off, and went to open the door.
Before her fingers even touched the doorknob, the man grabbed her waist, and with a dizzying spin, she was placed on a soft sofa.
Before she could react, the man's handsome face was suddenly reflected in her pupils.
The distance closed instantly.
His voice was slightly hoarse, "You haven't repaid the debt of gratitude yet, and you want to leave?"
Su Xi bit her lip. "I can pay it back, and I know how you want me to pay it back. But now is not the time."
"When I say it's time, it's time."
It was as if he was venting all the pent-up anger he had been suppressing over the past few days.
Su Xi couldn't push him away, staggered, and fell straight down.
The man protected the back of her head and lower back. In the instant of the fall, the man's body flipped over, and Su Xi landed on his warm chest.
Su Xi's mind went blank, and her mouth was filled with a sweet taste.
"It's a bit cold." The man's voice held a seductive tone. "What do you suggest we do?"
"Just leave it at that. I'm not a hand warmer."
"You are," the man chuckled softly, his laughter exceptionally pleasant, "I only allow you to be my hand warmer."
Su Xi couldn't help but scoff, deliberately speaking sarcastically, "So this is still the highest honor? But I don't need it."
"What an unromantic woman. I can't fool her no matter what I do."
The man sat up and pulled Su Xi up as well.
He forcefully pulled her to sit on his lap.
"President Feng, that's enough." Su Xi glared at her. They had been gone for so long. If someone became suspicious and came looking for her, what would become of her reputation?
"No, it's still early." The man said casually and leisurely.
Su Xi tried to get down, but the man pressed her down, his fingertips caressing her lips.
"I'd like you to help me apply lip balm."
The woman responded to him with a cold gaze. The man with the knife could hardly conceal his true feelings.
The man didn't seem to care much, his voice slightly breathless, "By the way, you didn't feel disgusted at all this time, has your opinion of me changed? Hmm?"
"President Feng, this is an old house."
"So what?" Seeing the woman's displeasure, the man added quietly, "Don't put unnecessary shackles on yourself. One day you'll understand that you and Feng Jinchen are just a facade."
Su Xi didn't understand at all, thinking the man was just being mysterious and didn't think much of it. "Didn't you say you wouldn't touch a single finger of mine again?"
"I didn't touch it."
Su Xi choked, "President Feng, what exactly do you want? Just now... the debt of gratitude has been repaid, right?"
She has her own conscience and knows what she's doing. Right now, she just wants this man to acknowledge that they're even and to sever all ties with him.
She acted so recklessly in the old house, not knowing where she would be next, and she didn't want to play with fire.
"No. The stability is too poor, I'm not satisfied."
"you!"
"But I didn't vomit this time, which is an improvement."
A fragrant aroma of food wafted in through the window; the old family was preparing dinner. But Su Xi only smelled cooking oil.
The nausea from morning sickness was suddenly triggered.
"vomit-"
Su Xi pushed the man away, covered her mouth, and rushed into the bathroom.
Feng Jue followed and saw Su Xi vomiting violently, his handsome face turning pale instantly.
"Don't come in." Su Xi closed the door and turned on the exhaust fan. After vomiting thoroughly, until even the green liquid came out, Su Xi finally felt less nauseous.
After rinsing her mouth, brushing her teeth with a disposable toothbrush, tidying up the sink, and making sure there were no unpleasant smells in the room, Su Xi opened the door and went out.
Feng Jue stood at the door like a wooden statue, and asked in a low voice, "What's wrong? Are you really that resistant to me?"
Su Xi felt as if she had been struck by something, and suddenly realized that there was a barrier between her and Feng Jue.
Even Feng Jinchen could guess that she might be pregnant, and for him... with such a deep generation gap, it was even more impossible for the two of them to be together.
She doesn't want to raise a son.
"It's nothing, I just ate some leftover watermelon, I guess I got an upset stomach." Su Xi made up an excuse to avoid the man suddenly changing his mind.
Hearing this, the man breathed a sigh of relief. "And what about last time?"
Motion sickness.
Feng Jue's complexion improved. "You need to be careful about your diet in the future. You vomited so much just now, do you want to see a doctor?"
"No need, I'm not that delicate."
Bang! Bang!
A knock suddenly sounded on the door.
"Su Xi, Uncle, are you inside?"
"Why is it locked from the inside? Fine, fine, you're just as unrestrained in the old house, aren't you? Let's just lay it all out today and let Grandpa and Grandma decide for me."
"Open the door!"
Upon hearing Feng Jinchen's voice, Su Xi panicked.
