Gu Xingnian opened her eyes with difficulty, her head feeling dizzy, probably because of the car accident not long ago.
I have a mild concussion! My stomach is churning, and nausea is rising in my throat.

The room wasn't big, but it was very clean.

A floral curtain covered a small window, letting in very little light. It was barely recognizable as a farmhouse, and occasionally a dog could be heard barking.

The door opened.
A man walked in; he had long hair and a full beard, and was very tall, at least 190 cm.
His deep-set eyes, when not speaking, gave him a somewhat decadent look, like those of a down-on-his-luck artist.
He knelt down in front of her, his voice hoarse.
"Don't shout, I'll tear off the tape for you."
Gu Xingnian's eyes widened, and she nodded frantically.
The man reached out, his movements not particularly rough, but the tape still stung his skin as it was ripped off.
Ignoring the pain, she immediately spoke, her voice trembling with nervousness.
"Did Jiang Kexin order you to tie me up? What do you want?"
"As long as you don't hurt me, call my family. We can discuss any amount of money, and they'll transfer it to you right away!"
The long-haired man twitched the corners of his mouth, revealing an expression that could hardly be called a smile.
"Tsk."
He looked her over.
"She is indeed beautiful and quick-witted, but unfortunately, she offended someone she shouldn't have."
He stood up and dusted off his trousers.

The man spoke in a flat tone, as if discussing the weather.
"I've already thought of a name: 'Beautiful Animal World'."
After he finished speaking, he suddenly lifted a cloth covering the ground next to him.
The net was set up in an iron cage crammed full of things.
A wriggling lizard, a toad with its belly bulging, and a few gray mice scurrying around squeaking.
Various sticky, slippery, and furry little animals huddled together.
