Gu Xingnian's hand was still raised in mid-air, her fingertips slightly numb.
Fu Beichen's face was slapped to one side, and a few seconds later he slowly turned back, a red mark quickly appearing on his cheek.

"What's wrong?" Gu Xingnian repeated, then suddenly sneered, and the tears that had formed at the corners of her eyes rolled down instantly.
"Jiang Kexin, is it something that drives you so crazy that you're willing to do anything to help her?"
Fu Beichen: "..."
She forcefully wiped away her tears, her voice rising at the end, filled with sharp hatred, "Fu Beichen!"
"Get out of here!" She lunged at him and shoved him hard.
Fu Beichen stumbled backward from her push, completely bewildered. "Does this little thing really have to make things so awkward for both of us?"
