Chapter 13: Challenge Fu Jingchuan One Month After Returning to Jingjing Capital...

A month after Fu Jingchuan returned to Jingjing Capital, he severed three supply chain collaborations with Fu Group.

Fu Yannian sat behind his large mahogany desk, his face livid. A newly delivered "Notice of Termination of Cooperation" lay distorted from being gripped in his hand. Vice President Liu Mingyuan wiped the sweat from his forehead, his voice trembling. "Mr. Fu, Jingzhi didn't leave any wiggle room. They just stopped the project. Our two factories are waiting for raw materials, and the production line will have to shut down next week..."

"What does Fu Jingchuan want to do?" Fu Yannian slammed the document on the table. "This is outrageous! Eating the Fu family's food and smashing the Fu family's pot?!"

Liu Mingyuan was silent, muttering in his heart: Fu Jingchuan's capital is really not built on the Fu family's food. But he didn't dare to say it.

The conference room was filled with smoke, and the faces of the Fu Group's directors were all solemn. Fu Jingchuan's move was swift and ruthless, targeting the link in the Fu Group's capital chain that was most stretched.

"What does Jingzhi say?" asked a director with a serious face.

"An explanation?" another scoffed. "They sent a project manager over, and he just said, 'Based on strategic adjustments and risk assessment, we've decided to terminate the cooperation.' There wasn't even a sh*t explanation! That guy's grown up now, he doesn't even care about us old bones, let alone his own father!"

"I shouldn't have let him recognize her back then! If the young master hadn't died, he wouldn't have had such a good time!" The man's voice was filled with resentment, "He doesn't even want his ancestors!"

"What's the point of saying this now? The most urgent task is to minimize the losses! Find alternative suppliers quickly! Fu Yannian, your son caused this trouble, and you have to be responsible for cleaning up the mess!" The spearhead turned to Fu Yannian, who was in the main seat.

Fu Yannian's face was extremely gloomy, and his temples were throbbing. Responsible for cleaning up the mess? He couldn't even find Fu Jingchuan's people!

At this moment, Fu Jingchuan, who was criticized by the Fu board of directors, was sitting in the war room on the top floor of Jingjing Capital.

The air was thick with caffeine. Seven or eight people sat around a large, circular conference table. They were all core members of Jingjing Capital's overseas mergers and acquisitions department. Thick documents lay before them, and their computer screens displayed complex project architecture diagrams and financial models.

"Mr. Fu," reported Chen Feng, Director of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department, "the latest feedback from Alpha Mining is that the Fu delegation arrived in Melbourne last night and will hold the third round of substantive offer negotiations this afternoon. They've invested heavily this time and are determined to win."

Alpha Mining, an Australian company with mining rights to a rare metal vein, had been secretly planning and eyeing this project for nearly three years, investing enormous resources and effort in exploration, lobbying, and paving the way. The project was about to bear fruit.

Fu Jingchuan leaned back in the main seat, his suit jacket draped over the back, wearing only a white shirt.

"Have you verified the "hard work" that the Fu family invested in the early stage?" he asked.

"It's verified," Chen Feng replied immediately, his tone tinged with disdain. "Most of them operate in a gray area, and some are even suspected of bribing local officials. We've already obtained part of the chain of evidence, which is enough to put their bid negotiations on the defensive and even lead to an investigation by local regulators." He clicked on an encrypted document. "Here's the key evidence."

Fu Jingchuan glanced at the screen and smiled faintly. "Okay. Let's muddy the waters," he said succinctly. "Let the Fu family be too busy at the negotiation table. Is our offer ready?"

"Ready!" the VP in charge of the financial model immediately chimed in, speaking rapidly. "Based on our recalculated Alpha's true cash flow and metal price trends over the next three years, combined with Fu's potential initial non-compliance costs, our offer is 5% higher than Fu's latest proposal, but with more generous additional terms and even more attractive equity incentives for Alpha's core management. It's absolutely competitive!"

Fu Jingchuan nodded slightly, his eyes sweeping over everyone present. "This is a crucial battle for us to open up the Asia-Pacific resource market. Victory is the only option. Chen Feng, you will lead the team and fly to Melbourne tonight. After we land, I want the Alpha board to see our sincerity and ability. We must sign the agreement before Fu's company recovers!"

"I understand!" Chen Feng stood up suddenly.

"Everyone else, cooperate fully. Information synchronization must be immediate. Any pressure from the Fu family," Fu Jingchuan paused, "is directly blocked. If the sky falls, I will hold it up."

The door to the war room was pushed open, and assistant Amy hurried in, holding a vibrating phone in her hand. She looked a little embarrassed and lowered her voice: "Mr. Fu, the call from Fu Group has called me three times today."

Fu Jingchuan didn't even raise his eyelids, his gaze still fixed on the financial report in front of him. He tapped a certain data point with his finger and said to the VP of Finance, "Here, be more conservative in the cash flow forecast and increase the weight of possible policy risks in the next three years."

Amy held the phone as if it were a hot potato.

After a few seconds, Fu Jingchuan seemed to have just noticed her presence and turned his head slightly.

"Tell Mr. Fu," he said calmly, "that if he has any objections to Jingjing's business decisions, tell him to come to Jingjing Capital and talk to me in person. I'm very busy right now."

Amy took a breath, quickly retreated with her phone, and closed the door gently.

The sounds of keyboards tapping and whispered discussions resounded in the war room, and no one dared to ask another question. Fu Jingchuan's words, though light and understated, had drawn a clear line in the sand and blocked all of Fu Yannian's anger and pressure. If you have the guts, come to me. If you don't, just shut up.

Fu Jingchuan returned to work, picked up his pen and quickly annotated the document...
