Gu Yanchen's handsome face was clouded with gloom.
Ji Ying wanted to explain what had happened on the phone, but seeing how certain he was of what she had done to Gu Lingxue, any further explanation would be futile.
So the words that were about to come out turned into a snort of laughter.
"So what? She almost died, and you were so worried the sky was falling, but my critical condition notice didn't bother you at all, because I was supposed to sacrifice myself for her anyway?"
"You're perfectly fine now, don't try to argue! She has depression, and she disappeared after being kicked out of the hospital. If something really happened to her, how could you live with yourself?"

But if his wife is released through someone else, then their relationship can never be repaired.
