The man's face was expressionless, but even through the glass, one could feel his heavy, oppressive aura.
"Open the door and let me down," Ji Ying said.
The driver glanced at the rearview mirror and, with Gu Yanchen's permission, unlocked the central locking system.

Ji Ying didn't give Gu Yanchen, who was looking at her, another glance before getting into the back seat of the Hongqi.

With a provocative smile, he spoke first, "Mr. Liang, isn't forcing me to stop the car a bit too rude? You don't seem to care about her safety at all."
Liang Yizhi looked at him very calmly, "Don't worry, I won't do anything I'm not sure of. Her safety is my top priority."
Gu Yanchen chuckled lightly, his tone sharp, "So, does the Shen family know you're together?"
Liang Yizhi pursed her lips slightly.
Gu Yanchen's smile widened. "Old Master Shen is not a soft-hearted man, and you are still under the control of the Shen family. The words were somewhat harsh, but Liang Yizhi was not angry. Instead, he calmly said, "I will talk to Jiang Ran about this."
