Chapter 246 Shen Aizhu Delivers Herself to the Door
Both of them turned their gazes in that direction at the same time.
Madam Shen nodded to the person who saw her off and walked out of the elevator with a composed gait.
She wore a flowing dark green herringbone dress underneath, and a long, sandalwood-colored silk coat over it. Her neck was adorned only with a string of lustrous South Sea pearls, which echoed the two simple pearl stud earrings on her earlobes.
She looked calm and elegant.
Ji Ying's time seemed to freeze instantly.

Xu Zhaoheng remained silent, his fingers still flying across the keyboard.
Unable to get a response, Shen Ruofu became furious, walked a few steps to the table, and unplugged the computer's power cord.
Xu Zhaoheng finally looked up at her, his brows furrowing slightly.

"I'm warning you, she's a promiscuous woman! If you're with me, you must remain chaste!"
Xu Zhaoheng met her gaze and said calmly, "Can you act like this in front of your parents?"
"Xu Zhaoheng!"
He ignored her anger, got up and plugged the power back in, his voice low and clear: "Sometimes, I really wish your parents could see your true colors. If I don't agree to Ji Ying's request, your parents will see it tomorrow."
"What...what did you say?" Shen Ruofu asked incredulously.
Xu Zhaoheng picked up the recorder on the table and threw it in front of her.
“Listen to this! I don’t care what grudges you have with him, but don’t let your personal issues affect the company. Huansheng is our reputation, and even if we’re a couple, I can’t let you tarnish it. Next time you see Ji Ying, be more careful.”
After only a short segment of the recording was played, Shen Ruofu smashed the recorder.
"You, Ji Ying, how dare you scheme against me! Xu Zhaoheng, you're not allowed to approve his friend's application!"
Xu Zhaoheng was not annoyed and sat down in the chair.
"Fine, as long as you get the recording back from her phone, I'll refuse immediately."
Shen Ruofu gritted her teeth.
To maintain his public image, he couldn't possibly confront Ji Ying and retrieve the recording.
But Shen Aizhu is possible...
Thinking about this, she felt better.
"My mom came by and told us to find some time to go home and have dinner together."
