"Especially when it comes to major life decisions, you need to think things through carefully and not be swayed by external opinions. If you can't even make decisions for yourself, what's the difference between you and a minor?"
Although Lao Jin didn't say it outright, Shen Li could understand what he meant.
This probably refers to the news that she and Lu Yanchuan are getting a divorce.

Lu Yanchuan said, "You can think carefully about our current situation, our relationship, and our future plans. I respect your wishes."
Shen Li glanced at him sideways without saying a word, but Lu Yanchuan could understand the meaning in her eyes.
Lu Yanchuan smiled. "Really, even if you want to leave, I respect that."
This was somewhat unexpected for Shen Li, because Lu Yanchuan seemed to be a person with a strong possessive and controlling nature.
Lu Yanchuan continued, "It's okay, I'll just pursue her again. I have plenty of patience. I'm willing to start dating and get married again. Just treat it as a bit of fun."
Shen Li: "..."
Lu Yanchuan smiled and leaned forward.
As the distance suddenly closed, the fresh and crisp scent of his men's cologne wafted into Shen Li's breath.
Lu Yanchuan's deep voice fell into Shen Li's ear, "Oh right, and that lawyer He you just mentioned."
