The day Qi Chen took the gas card and went out, he got into some trouble. When he returned home that night, he was scolded by Qi Shen, who was waiting for him in the living room. He then moved out of Nangong and flew to Beijing overnight, almost like a refugee.
Fang Zhi wanted to ask, but hadn't found the opportunity, and she didn't even have Qi Chen's contact information.
The light and shadow above the restaurant cascaded down like pillars.
Only then did I realize I had a knife in one hand and a fork in the other.
She kept poking at the last floret of broccoli on the white porcelain plate with her fork, her thoughts already wandering far away. After all, she suddenly felt a little uneasy without the talkative person at the table.
The silver forks and plates clattered together. Qi Shen glanced at the girl making the noise for a moment before asking, "Zhizhi, are you full?"
The girl was lost in her own thoughts and didn't hear him or react. He patted her on the shoulder.
Only then did she notice the broccoli on the plate that she had chopped into tiny pieces. She awkwardly put down her knife and fork, and looked at the man as if waking from a dream, "What's wrong? Brother?"
Qi Shen patiently asked again.
"I'm full."
"Okay." He pulled out a napkin and reached out to wipe her lips. Fang Zhi stopped his arm and grabbed the napkin from his hand. "Brother, I can do it myself."
She's not a three-year-old child.
Qi Shen didn't insist and leisurely let go.
He rolled up his sleeves, glanced at the time on his watch with his eyelashes lowered, and turned to Fang Zhi, saying gently, "Zhi Zhi, go upstairs and change your clothes. You're going out with your brother tonight."
Fang Zhi paused in wiping his mouth upon hearing this, initially surprised, but after composing himself, he asked somewhat nervously:
"Brother, where are we going?"
He had taken her out before, but most of the time it was during the day. The only time he took her out at night was at Tingshui Cui Pavilion that year. There were four grown men in the private room, and she was the only girl. They claimed to be good brothers, but they spoke to each other with a tense and hostile tone, and each of them looked like someone not to be trifled with. She sat to the side, bearing four times the pressure.
If she's the only girl, and the rest are all his friends...
Yeah, she might as well not go.
"What's there to be nervous about? It's not like your brother is going to sell you." Qi Shen teased her gently with a smile. "Besides, even if your brother went bankrupt, he wouldn't be willing to sell Zhizhi."
Fang Zhi blushed slightly at his teasing, her eyes fixed on the man's well-defined jawline, and she murmured softly:
"I did not mean that."
Besides, how could he possibly go bankrupt?
Even though she no longer pays attention to financial information, she has seen the media praising him as the top figure in the investment world.
His photos used to make headlines, although they were taken down in time, but many people still saw them. She even heard girls in her class talking about him and his friends when they were discussing rich young men.
"Daydreaming in front of your brother again?" Qi Shen's voice was gentle. When the girl looked up, he pulled her arm, opened her clenched fist with a little force, took out the crumpled paper inside, and casually threw it into the trash can.
Before Fang Zhi could reply, Qi Shen pinched her cheek and said, "Aren't you going to change your clothes? Do you want your brother to change them for you?" His gaze swept over her clothes from top to bottom.
The light-colored V-neck loungewear subtly reveals the beautiful collarbone; when bending over, the soft, continuous cleavage hidden beneath the clothing may be slightly visible.
When he got off work, Zhizhi was already at the restaurant. He just noticed that she was wearing this nightgown.
The man glanced around at the servants, a dark glint in his eyes behind his glasses, and smiled slightly, saying, "Never mind, I'll go upstairs with Zhizhi to pick out clothes."
Fang Zhi was about to refuse when Qi Shen added, "Brother also needs to change his clothes."
But when she saw the man staring at her clothes with an inscrutable expression, she swallowed her words and nodded.
Fang Zhi followed him upstairs, glancing at his back before lowering her eyes, thinking that her brother's controlling nature was probably acting up again because of her pajamas. But he was clearly watching her buy them...
"Zhizhi, hurry up."
A gentle voice came from ahead, and only then did she realize that she had unknowingly fallen behind the man.
He stood in the doorway of the dressing room, a refined smile playing on his lips as he gazed at her. The door was wide open, and the hand resting on the doorframe was pale, with clearly defined veins and long, slender fingers.
Fang Zhi jogged a few steps and walked into the dressing room right under the man's nose. "Brother, I need to wear... what?"
Before he could finish speaking, the door behind him closed.
Before she could react, an arm grabbed her waist from behind. After a spinning motion, she was cornered against the wall. In the cramped space, the man's presence enveloped her completely, and shadows loomed over her.
"Mmm~" was the soft moan that escaped from Fang Zhi's nose as her lips were sealed.
Qi Shen's free hand cupped her chin, his calloused fingertips gently caressing her skin with a teasing yet tender touch, a stark contrast to his kissing advances.
The agile and domineering tongue continued its rampage deeper and deeper.
Qi Shen savored the beauty of the little person in his arms, not caring that his high nose bridge was uncomfortable from his glasses pressing against it.
He now only has one thought left:
He wished he could keep Zhizhi by his side at all times. Everything about her belonged to him, and he couldn't let anyone else see even a little bit of her. He wanted to meld her into his very bones.
Only then did I realize that I was almost out of breath.
Just when she thought she would become the first person in history to be kissed unconscious, the man pulled out of her mouth.
She gripped his suit jacket tightly, her reddened eyes looking up at him. Even through his clear glasses, she could see the danger and darkness in his eyes, threatening to engulf and swallow her whole.
