Chapter 53 Holding Her Hand

A moment later, upon seeing the person she was looking for, the girl's beautiful eyes sparkled. "Brother Jiang!" she called out as she ran over.

Reaching the two boys, she forcefully pushed Zhou Yiming aside and moved closer to Jiang Yuze, asking, "Why are you out so late? How did your exam go?"

"Oh~" Zhou Yiming wasn't annoyed by being jostled. He chuckled slightly, his eyes narrowed, and his tone was full of teasing. "Princess Song is taking the college entrance exam today too? Which exam room did you come from?"

"Can you shut up a bit?" Song Yuxi glared at him, her tone dismissive. "I'm talking to Brother Jiang!"

"Didn't you just come back last month?" Jiang Yu glanced at her, his expression indifferent. "Why are you back again?"

"Because you have to take the college entrance exam." Song Yuxi ignored the impatience in his tone and smiled brightly. "I specially asked my teacher for leave and flew back to cheer you on."

She was sent by her family to study at St. Paul's Girls' School in London, one of the world's top high schools, right after she graduated from junior high school.

"Oh, thank you," Jiang Yu replied casually, glancing away out of the corner of his eye.

My gaze swept across the bustling crowd and landed on two familiar profiles, one refined and the other serene.

She watched as the man took the girl's hand and turned around.

Jiang Yu wanted to take a step and catch up, but their figures had already disappeared into the surging crowd.

Even though he couldn't see Fang Zhi's expression, he believed that holding hands with Qi Shen was not her intention.

Rather, it was because she could not disobey Qi Shen.

"Brother Jiang, what are you looking at?" Song Yuxi peeked out and followed his gaze. "Why are you looking at it so intently?"

The more he thought about it, the colder his expression became. He no longer had the heart to be perfunctory. Jiang Yu's thin lips twitched, and he coldly uttered four words, "It has nothing to do with you."

A hint of embarrassment and sadness flashed across Song Yuxi's eyes, but she quickly concealed it and said playfully, "Oh, if you don't want to talk about it, then don't. I don't want to hear it."

Jiang Yu didn't respond, and a subtle atmosphere slowly spread in the air. Zhou Yiming's eyes flickered, sensing that something was wrong with his friend, and he stepped forward to maintain the situation.

"Let's go, let's go." He put his arm around Jiang Yuze's shoulder, looking at Song Yuxi. "Let's hurry up and find a place to eat. The exam has killed all our brain cells."

"Hmm," Jiang Yu responded, then realized that he had been a bit too harsh on a girl.

"sorry."

He looked at her and apologized readily.

Upon hearing this, Song Yuxi smiled, revealing her white teeth, and looked up to meet the boy's gaze. "It's alright."
