The last sentence resounded like a thunderclap in Sang Yuwan's ears.
She gasped as she realized her secret had been discovered.
In just a few seconds, she calmed down, a cold smile curving her lips, her tone completely flat.
Do you know what you're saying?
Mingmei said with a hint of smugness, "Sister Wanwan, Mr. Bo will not have a child with you."
"Oh?" Sang Yuwan's heart was as calm as a clear lake, her breathing without the slightest disturbance. "How do you know that he and I won't have a child?"
Mingmei became arrogant, "Because Mr. Bo doesn't like you."
Sang Yuwan adjusted her posture, comfortably leaning back in the soft chair, and smiled calmly, "He doesn't like me, so does he like you?"
Mingmei was surprised that her emotions were so stable. Feeling a little frantic, she blurted out in a moment of impulsiveness, "The person that Mr. Bo likes is his male secretary, Gu Jingheng."
Sang Yuwan's brow twitched heavily.
The secret is revealed, and the story is breathtaking.
Her bright voice was laced with sarcasm, "Sister Wanwan, you've been with Master Bo for four years, has he still not touched you?"
Sang Yuwan's chest heaved violently, her heart churning with emotions, before quickly returning to calm. She sneered, "Mingmei, if you can't have her, there's no need to slander her like this."
“What do you mean by ‘can’t have’?” Mingmei’s emotions rose, and she no longer had any humble or submissive posture. “If it weren’t for Mr. Bo’s preference for men, you wouldn’t have gotten the position of Mrs. Bo.”
Sang Yuwan's tone remained calm, her voice steady and powerful, "You can't just say things like that. Do you have any evidence?"
Her bright tone carried a victor's jubilation, "I have intimate videos of Mr. Bo and Gu Jingheng. Sister Wanwan, what would you do if I released the videos?"
Sang Yuwan's pupils contracted, and her body trembled for a moment. She took a deep breath, trying to control her emotions, and then judged the truth of Mingmei's words.
She entered the Ming family at the age of six and believed that she understood Mingmei.
If not, they would never be so arrogant.
Sang Yuwan's first reaction was, what will happen to the "Bo Group" once the video is released?
That was the culmination of Bo Yuanshan's life's work.
She would never let it be destroyed.
Seeing her silence, Mingmei became even more smug and arrogant, "Sister Wanwan, have you thought it through? For the sake of our past relationship, I'll give you ten minutes to consider."
Sang Yuwan took a deep breath, straightened her back, and revealed a contemptuous smile in her eyes.
Mingmei probably overlooked who she was negotiating with.
As the top female tycoon in Jiangcheng, her cunning and shrewdness far surpassed hers.
"Sister Wanwan, is it hard to decide?" Mingmei's tone was full of provocation. "No matter how you look at it, I'm the one who's losing out in this deal."
Sang Yuwan sneered, "Mingmei, do you know the rules of negotiation?"
"What?" Mingmei was taken aback.
Sang Yuwan's voice was calm and firm, "When looking for someone to do a deal, the worst thing you can do is to reveal your bottom line. Also, I will not make any decisions before I see the video."
Mingmei raised her voice, "You mean you suspect I'm lying to you?"
Sang Yuwan scoffed, "Not stupid at all."
Mingmei said angrily, "I'll send you the video right now."
Sang Yuwan smiled slightly, "Okay."
The call dragged on, but Mingmei didn't hang up.
"Huh, where's the video?"
On the other end of the phone came a bright, surprised voice.
Sang Yuwan's lips curled slightly, she put down her phone and turned on the speakerphone. Then, she took an orange from the fruit basket and was about to peel it when Aunt Qiu rushed over and gestured to her.
Sang Yuwan guessed roughly what was going on and said, "I'll do it myself."
Aunt Qiu looked completely bewildered.
“Minglang,” Sang Yuwan turned her head and called out.
Minglang strode over, "Madam?"
Sang Yuwan gently lifted her eyelids and said, "Tell her that I can do small things like peeling oranges myself."
Minglang turned to Aunt Qiu and "translated".
Aunt Qiu blushed and gestured with her fingers.
Minglang said, "Madam, she said that the Second Master instructed..."
Sang Yuwan's gaze darkened as she interrupted, "Tell her that she is not allowed to mention Second Master while she is here."
Minglang pursed her lips and said, "Yes."
"Second Master?" A bright voice trembled slightly on the other end of the phone.
Minglang led Aunt Qiu to the kitchen.
As Sang Yuwan peeled an orange, her dark eyes gleamed. "Mingmei, does Second Master also know about this?"
Mingmei was clearly panicked. She gritted her teeth and blurted out, "He doesn't know."
"You don't know?" Sang Yuwan seemed somewhat incredulous.
Mingmei said nervously, "Anyway, I haven't told him."
“Okay.” Sang Yuwan pursed her lips.
"Okay?" Mingmei was taken aback. "What do you mean?"
Sang Yuwan leisurely peeled an orange, her expression cool and indifferent. "You framed Mr. Bo without any evidence. I must handle this matter officially."
"Everything I said is true, Mr. Bo..."
“Mingmei, you can’t maliciously smear Mr. Bo just because he didn’t choose you. You can just wait to receive a summons.”
"A summons?!" Mingmei was taken aback. "Wait until I find the video, then let's see if you have anything to say."
Sang Yuwan said calmly, "Okay, I'll wait."
Mingmei gritted her teeth, her voice rising and falling, "You won't listen to reason, so you'll have to suffer the consequences. I'd rather not film this movie. I want to see you condemned by everyone."
The angrier she got, the calmer Sang Yuwan became. "Mingmei, I'll give you 24 hours. After that, I'll have Second Master deal with you personally."
"Second Master?" Mingmei was startled, and her tongue stammered.
Sang Yuwan said, "He is now the Minister of Legal Affairs of the Bo Group. I think that given Second Master's character, he would not protect his girlfriend."
The word "girlfriend" sounds particularly ironic.
Bright and beautiful heart felt as if it had been stung by a thousand bees, swollen and painful, making it difficult to breathe.
"you……"
Sang Yuwan's patience ran out, and she hung up the phone.
As she spoke, the orange had already been peeled, and she put a segment into her mouth, chewing it in small bites.
Sweet with a hint of sourness.
It's suitable for someone like her who has a sensitive stomach.
As she ate, she inexplicably felt as if someone was watching her. She gently raised her eyes, and a tall, imposing figure appeared in her dark pupils.
"Madam, my character isn't very good."
His voice was low and deep, with a hint of amusement in it.
Sang Yuwan's eyelids twitched, and she sneered, "Second Master's character is indeed not very good."
Rong Zhi strode over, saying, "I didn't mean to eavesdrop."
Sang Yuwan continued eating her oranges, ignoring him.
Without any hesitation, Rong Zhi walked to the opposite side of her, sat down, and then took an orange and gently peeled it.
"Did Mingmei provoke you again?"
A hint of coldness flashed in Sang Yuwan's eyes as she casually asked him, "Did you touch her phone?"
Rong Zhi raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
Sang Yuwan looked at him, her gaze cold and sharp. "Mingmei has a video of Bo Xingzhi and Gu Jingheng. Doesn't Second Master know that?"
Rong Zhi placed the peeled orange in the crystal fruit dish in front of her, his deep eyes holding a mysterious smile. "What do you think?"
