Chapter 14 Second Master, Stay Away From Me

"Madam, the Second Master has arrived." A servant stood at the door, head bowed, and said respectfully.

Sang Yuwan paused for a moment.

Rong Zhi's arrival was truly ill-timed.

She almost found out his real identity.

"Tell him to get out!" Ning Wanzhen's expression changed instantly, her eyes blazing with anger.

Sang Yuwan frowned. She pursed her lips and said softly, "Mom, calm down."

"Wanwan, go and kick him out of the Bo family." Ning Wanzhen's pale cheeks flushed with excitement, and her voice became unusually stern.

Sang Yuwan didn't understand why Rong Zhi harbored such deep hatred for her. She wanted to ask him, but felt the timing wasn't right, so she gave up. She stood up and handed him a tissue.

"Mom, don't be angry. It's not worth ruining your health over him."

"Wanwan, I don't want to see him. Get him out of here..." Ning Wanzhen's breathing became rapid, and her voice trembled noticeably.

"Okay," Sang Yuwan replied, and then walked out.

Pushing open the door, she saw a tall, imposing figure. Her pupils contracted slightly, and a cold glint flashed in her eyes.

"The old lady doesn't want to see you."

Rong Zhi remained calm and showed no emotion. "I'm looking for you."

The magnetic voice, like a deep bass cannon emanating from thick smoke, made Sang Yuwan's heart skip a beat. She frowned slightly. "What is it?"

Rong Zhi lowered his eyelids slightly and lowered his voice, "About the child."

Sang Yuwan's mind went blank for a moment, and her upright body trembled instantly.

She knew he was setting a trap for her, but she never expected him to push her into it so quickly.

The brief moment of peace between the two in the car was instantly shattered.

The relationship has soured again.

Rong Zhi looked down at her, his calm eyes revealing a faint smile.

Sang Yuwan felt a chill run down her spine. Her pretty face hardened, and her eyes shot at him like knives. "The child's affairs are none of your business."

Rong Zhi asked in a cold voice, "Are you sure?"

The rising intonation at the end of the note carried a clear threat.

Sang Yuwan's eyes blazed with fury. She gritted her teeth and muttered under her breath, "Rong Zhi, I am now the head of the Bo family..."

“Therefore, you should cherish this child even more.” Rong Zhi casually interrupted, one hand in his pocket.

"You!" Sang Yuwan felt a tightness in her chest and couldn't breathe for a moment.

If I had known this man would be so difficult to deal with, I shouldn't have lied and said I was pregnant.

Now that things have come to this, we can only take it one step at a time.

She took two deep breaths and began to walk downstairs.

Rong Zhi followed suit and lifted his foot.

The two walked side by side.

A cool, aloof aura mingled with the scent of incense, lingering around Sang Yuwan's nostrils, making her heart pound.

She stopped, turned her head, and glared at Rong Zhi.

Rong Zhi paused, then asked calmly, "What's wrong?"

Sang Yuwan whispered, "Second Master, stay away from me."

Rong Zhi smiled and said, "Are you afraid of me?"

Sang Yuwan's face flushed with anger, her eyes filled with resentment. "What a joke. You think I'm afraid of you?"

Rong Zhi slightly parted his thin lips, "Afraid that Mother will see?"

Sang Yuwan was taken aback.

Rong Zhi said, "She's looking for you simply to tell you to keep your distance from me."

Sang Yuwan bit her lower lip, leaving a tooth mark, her eyes flashing with anger, and her chest heaving twice.

"You seem to know her very well."

Rong Zhi raised an eyebrow slightly. "Some things are better listened to if you can, and if you can't, just close your ears."

A subtle warmth swept through Sang Yuwan's heart, but something felt off. She took a step, but failed to touch the edge of the step.

A sudden feeling of weightlessness swept over my entire body, my heart clenched as if gripped tightly by an invisible hand. Then, my body began to lean forward uncontrollably, and the whole world seemed to lose its balance in that instant.

"ah!"

Just as she was about to fall down the stairs, a strong hand grabbed her.

The next second, her slender waist was tightly embraced.

Sang Yuwan's breathing suddenly stopped, and her body stiffened.

She and Bo Xingzhi had never been so intimate before.

When Xiansi, who had rushed over, looked up and saw such an ambiguous scene, she was startled.

"lady……"

Sang Yuwan snapped back to reality, her heart pounding in her throat. She quickly shifted two steps to the left and grabbed the stair railing. Taking a few deep breaths, she slowly descended the stairs, her chest heaving.

This time, Rong Zhi did not follow immediately, but waited for her to go down four or five steps before slowly descending.

As Sang Yuwan walked down the stairs, Xiansi immediately went to greet her, lowering her voice.

"Madam, are you alright?"

Sang Yuwan's face turned pale, and she gritted her teeth as she replied, "It's nothing."

Xian Si took her arm and lowered her voice, "Madam, I've investigated. The Second Master has no connection with that person in the capital."

Sang Yuwan frowned but remained silent.

Strings added, "It's also possible that the message was deliberately erased."

Sang Yuwan felt a little dizzy, and a thin layer of cold sweat appeared on her forehead; she was visibly uncomfortable.

"lady?"

Xiansi quickly noticed that something was wrong with her. He hurriedly stopped, supported her with one hand, and took a piece of candy out of his pocket with the other.

Rong Zhi rushed over and grabbed Sang Yuwan's other arm, asking in a low voice, "Is your low blood sugar acting up again?"

Strings was stunned, and the candy they had just unwrapped fell to the ground.

They couldn't find any information about him, but he knew everything about Sang Yuwan's situation, even that she had hypoglycemia.

Even Master Bo was unaware of this matter.

A wave of dizziness washed over her, and Sang Yuwan's vision went black in waves. Her legs gave way, and she felt like she was falling.

"What are you still standing there for? Give me the candy." Rong Zhi coldly reprimanded the dazed Xuan Si.

"Oh." Xian Si's heart skipped a beat, and she hurriedly took out another candy from her pocket and handed it over.

Rong Zhi took it, quickly unwrapped the candy, and stuffed it into Sang Yuwan's mouth.

Xian Si looked nervous, tears welling in her eyes, "Madam..."

The sweet taste warmed Sang Yuwan slightly. She blinked her eyelashes and said weakly, "Second Master, let go."

Rong Zhi saw through her thoughts, his gaze darkening. "I'll take you back."

"Second Master, stay away from me." Sang Yuwan's voice was somewhat weak.

"Is your health more important, or your reputation?" Rong Zhi said coldly.

Xian Si took a deep breath. "Second Master, you don't need to trouble yourself. I will take Madam back."

Rong Zhi's gaze darkened noticeably.

Sang Yuwan bit the candy into pieces and swallowed it. After regaining her composure slightly, she looked up and emphasized, "Let go!"

Rong Zhi lowered his eyes slightly, his long eyelashes thick and black.

Their eyes met.

Their faces were reflected in each other's dark eyes.

Sang Yuwan's heart was pounding, and she felt a strange sense of chaos and turmoil.

She quickly lowered her head, avoiding his gaze, and said, "Rong Zhi, let go."

Two servants walked towards them from a short distance away.

The air swirling around the three of them had become extremely condensed.

Xian Si swallowed nervously, "Second Master, don't worry. Madam will be fine in a little while."

Upon hearing this, Sang Yuwan glared at her and questioned her, "What kind of relationship do I have with him that you need him to trust me?"

Xuan Si realized what was happening and her heart skipped a beat. "Madam, what I meant..."

Rong Zhi's brow furrowed slightly, and the corner of his mouth twitched slightly. "It seems that everything is really alright."

When Xiansi saw him slowly loosen his grip, she couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

Sang Yuwan's eyes darkened with anger. "Xiansi, let's go."

"Yes," Xiansi replied.

The two had just taken a step when a bell suddenly rang behind them.

Rong Zhi pressed the answer button and answered the phone, "Fourth Miss..."

A clear, magnetic voice drifted softly into Sang Yuwan's ears. She paused, her temples throbbing.

It's unclear whether she was feeling unwell and experiencing auditory hallucinations.

Rong Zhi's address of "Fourth Miss" sounded very gentle, like the whispered words between lovers.
