A thought flashed through Sang Yuwan's mind, and the coldness in her eyes intensified.
"Master, please don't agree! I'm already on the verge of death..."
The hoarse voice was interrupted by Ning Xin'er's angry roar.
"A despicable woman like you, wanting to die won't be so easy."
Immediately afterward, the phone rang with the sound of a slap.
Sang Yuwan's breathing deepened again, her tone becoming more forceful and authoritative, "Ning Xin'er, stop right now!"
The person on the other end of the phone seemed not to hear her and continued to curse, "You killed my aunt's son, I will make you wish you were dead."
The slaps grew louder with each strike.
Sang Yuwan's eyes flashed with a chilling light. "Ning Xin'er, if you don't stop, I'll have to resort to family discipline."
Immediately, she pressed the internal phone and called Xiansi in.
Take out a pen and write a sentence on an A4 sheet of paper.
"Find out where Bo Qingmei is now."
Xian Si pursed her lips and nodded.
Sang Yuwan spoke coldly to the person on the other end of the conversation again, "Ning Xin'er, speak."
The sound of banging and knocking gradually reached her ears.
Sang Yuwan's eyes darkened, and she immediately hung up the phone.
Although my ears were at peace, my heart was far from calm.
Xian Si walked up to her, her brow furrowed. "Madam, I have found out. Ning Xin'er took Bo Qingmei to the Bo family ancestral hall."
Sang Yuwan's gaze darkened, a surge of darkness welling up in her eyes. She took two deep breaths and slammed her hand heavily on the desk.
"Go back to the Bo family."
Xian Si hadn't been able to contact Rong Zhi and Ming Lang yet, and couldn't help but worry, "Madam, should we wait for Second Master to return before going over there?"
Sang Yuwan sneered, "Don't worry. She can't cause any trouble in the Bo family."
Xian Si clenched her fingers. "Once Mr. Bo's background is exposed, Bo Yuheng and Bo Hanshan will definitely use it as an excuse to make trouble."
Sang Yuwan strode forward, leaving behind the words, "I won't give her that chance."
"Yes, Madam." Xiansi turned around, not daring to say anything more.
With Minglang absent, Sang Yuwan arranged for another bodyguard from the Ming family to drive.
The black Bentley sped along and stopped in front of the Bo Clan Ancestral Hall in less than half an hour.
Xiansi hurriedly got out of the car and then opened the back door.
Sang Yuwan put on her overcoat, straightened her back, and strode towards the entrance of the ancestral hall with sharp steps.
Xiansi and the bodyguard who was driving followed behind her, one on each side.
"Master of the family."
The two servants guarding the ancestral hall rushed over when they saw Sang Yuwan.
"Is Miss Biao inside?" Sang Yuwan's expression hardened, and she asked in a cold voice.
The servants were extremely respectful. "It wasn't just Miss Biao; there was also the old lady and a woman."
Sang Yuwan's eyes darkened. "The old lady is inside too?"
The servant replied tremblingly, "Yes."
Sang Yuwan took a deep breath. "Open the door."
"Yes," the servant replied respectfully, and then opened the thick ancestral hall door.
The door opened just a crack, and a thick aroma of incense wafted out.
Sang Yuwan narrowed her eyes.
Just as she was about to take a step, a sinister and cold voice pierced her ears, each word chilling, "Patriarch, what is the purpose of summoning us here at this time?"
Sang Yuwan's expression tightened, and she slowly turned around.
Most of the people from the second and third wives' families came.
The cold light in Sang Yuwan's eyes intensified inch by inch, like sharp arrows tempered with ice, shooting towards them with a whoosh.
"Who notified you?"
Her cold, indifferent voice seemed to be imbued with frost.
Bo Yuheng gave a cold laugh, his eyes filled with a sinister light. "Didn't you notify them?"
Xiansi couldn't help but interject, "When will Madam...?"
"Xiansi," Sang Yuwan reprimanded in a low voice.
Bo Yuheng spoke up, "Patriarch, you sent someone to summon us here, so now you're saying it wasn't you who gave the order? Are you trying to play us for fools?"
Someone chimed in, "Do you think we're so easily fooled?"
Someone mustered up the courage to mutter under their breath, "This kind of patriarch is so disrespectful."
Bo Yuheng added, "Patriarch, if you can't give us a reasonable explanation today, we're not leaving."
Most people agreed, "Yes, we're not leaving."
Sang Yuwan suddenly sneered, "If you're not leaving, then all of you go inside and kneel down."
Someone angrily said, "We haven't done anything wrong, why are we being punished by kneeling?"
Someone angrily retorted, "Even if you are the head of the family, you have no right to do this."
Bo Yuheng's eyes turned sinister. "Sang Yuwan, it seems you should give up this position."
Sang Yuwan's face darkened, her eyes cold and distant. "Whether or not you should let her have it is not up to you."
The ancestral hall doors were fully opened, and Ning Xin'er's voice came from inside.
"Sang Yuwan, if you want to save people, you don't need to bring so many people with you, do you?"
Bo Yuheng's face changed drastically, turning dark and gloomy, as if a thunderbolt was about to strike at any moment.
He saw the woman bound to the left pillar of the ancestral hall. "Qingmei?"
Seeing this, Sang Yuwan ignored the people from the second and third branches of the family. Taking a deep breath, she stepped over the high threshold of the ancestral hall.
Bo Yuheng's forehead veins bulged, and his lips were drawn into a straight line.
He followed them inside.
The others followed and entered the ancestral hall.
Sang Yuwan glanced at Bo Qingmei, whose cheeks were swollen and red, and angrily shouted at the servants, "Release her immediately!"
A sinister smile crept across Ning Xin'er's lips. "Who dares!"
Sang Yuwan looked at Bo Qingmei's swollen face, her jawline tightening. The next second, she slapped Ning Xin'er hard across the face.
She used a lot of force in that slap, and her palm was a little sore.
Ning Xin'er took a few steps back, barely managing to stand still. He covered his slapped face, his eyes blazing with fury, "You... hit me..."
Xian Si and the Ming family's bodyguards walked to the pillar and untied the ropes binding Bo Qingmei.
Bo Qingmei's body swayed precariously, and even with Xian Si supporting her, she continued to slide down.
Strings had no choice but to sit down with his back against the pillar.
Sang Yuwan shifted her gaze to Ning Wanzhen, who was kneeling before the ancestral tablets, her eyes darkening. "Mom, are you just going to let Ning Xin'er run wild like this?"
Ning Wanzhen clasped her hands together, closed her eyes tightly, and remained silent as if she had not heard her question.
Sang Yuwan raised her voice, "Guards, bring the family law."
Ning Xin'er's eyes narrowed slightly, but there was no fear on her face. "Sang Yuwan, I am not a member of the Bo family. You have no right to punish me."
Sang Yuwan sneered, "The Bo family's rules don't just apply to members of the Bo family."
Ning Xin'er raised an eyebrow, her slapped side of her face contorted in a grimace.
"Sang Yuwan, you'd better think this through. Don't end up being punished by the family law."
