Chapter 138 Quickly take Madam to the Hospital

Ning Wanzhen turned her head away, her face full of annoyance. "What are you looking at? Who knows what tricks you've played?"

Rong Zhi was not as annoyed as before; his sharp features had even lost some of their edge. "You have to see it."

Ning Wanzhen trembled, her brows furrowed in a cold stare. "Are you ordering me around?"

Rong Zhi smiled enigmatically, "How dare I order you around? You are my elder."

Ning Wanzhen's face turned ashen. She turned around and glared at him coldly, "You still know that I am your elder."

Perhaps because she was pregnant, Sang Yuwan felt extremely irritated by the situation. Her brows furrowed, and she said coldly, "Mom, you'd better take a look. I've offended quite a few people, and this kind of thing will probably happen again in the future. The child is growing up day by day, and I really don't have the extra energy to explain to you anymore."

Ning Wanzhen's gaze froze, as if waves were crashing through her heart.

Rong Zhi spoke coolly, "The patriarch is right. Mother, you must not be used by others."

He paused, then added, "The first three months are the most crucial. Doesn't Mother know that?"

These words struck Ning Wanzhen like a boulder crashing into her heart, causing a surge of emotions and a cold sweat to break out on her back.

We can disregard Sang Yuwan's feelings, but we cannot ignore the child in her womb.

That was his son's only bloodline in this world.

If anything goes wrong, how will she explain it to her husband and son?

Sang Yuwan put down her water glass. "Mom, I'm going to the restroom."

Ning Wanzhen was still caught in a painful and conflicted state of mind and remained silent.

Rong Zhi didn't remind her, but glanced at Sang Yuwan.

Their eyes met.

There appears to be an electrical connection.

Sang Yuwan felt a strange flutter in her heart, but she suppressed it and stood up calmly.

Less than two minutes after she went in, Xiansi pushed open the door with an uneasy expression and rushed into the bathroom without greeting Ning Wanzhen and Rong Zhi.

Minglang followed closely behind.

Seeing that something was wrong, Rong Zhi suddenly stood up and asked sternly, "What's going on?"

Minglang's eyes reddened with anxiety, "Madam's stomach is upset..."

Before he could finish speaking, Rong Zhi rushed to the bathroom door and asked anxiously, "Is it convenient for me to come in?"

Xian Si's voice trembled, "Second Master, quickly take Madam to the hospital."

Minglang ran over as well.

The bathroom door opened, and Xiansi helped Sang Yuwan, whose face was pale, out.

Rong Zhi's heart was pounding, and he instinctively reached out to hug her.

Sang Yuwan lowered her voice, "Alang."

“Madam, I’m here,” Minglang responded, immediately supporting her other arm.

Ning Wanzhen was struck dumb at the sight, her breath catching in her throat. After a few seconds, she slowly stood up, "Wanwan, you..."

“Mom, I…” Sang Yuwan frowned, looking extremely distressed.

Xiansi and Minglang helped her slowly walk towards the door.

"Hiss..." Sang Yuwan paused, her face contorted in pain.

Seeing this, Minglang quickly squatted down and said, "Madam, I'll carry you down."

Rong Zhi's chest rose and fell slightly, his brows furrowed, and he remained silent.

If Ning Wanzhen hadn't been there, he would have already carried Sang Yuwan down the stairs.

Sang Yuwan hesitated for a few seconds, but the pain was too much for her to bear, so she asked Minglang to carry her downstairs.

Rong Zhi watched them leave, then turned to Ning Wanzhen and asked, "Mother, is this the result you wanted?"

Ning Wanzhen was terrified, her face turning deathly pale.

Rong Zhi took a deep breath, his brows furrowed with anger. "Over the years, Father has been scheming in every aspect, thinking a hundred steps ahead for every one he takes. He knows what kind of people Second Uncle and Third Uncle are, and he knows your personality even better. That's why he specifically made a separate will for the sake of the shares you hold."

Ning Wanzhen froze.

Rong Zhi continued, "Have you ever thought about why this kind of thing keeps happening again and again?"

Ning Wanzhen felt a tightness in her chest and had difficulty breathing.

Rong Zhi's eyes darkened, and he raised his voice, "Have you considered what the consequences would be if you really drove Sang Yuwan away?"

Ning Wanzhen opened her mouth, but no sound came out.

Rong Zhi took the photos and threw them into the shredder.

With a buzzing sound, the photoshopped images quickly turned into fragments.

Rong Zhi gave Ning Wanzhen a cold look and finally said, "Think about it carefully."

As soon as he finished speaking, he turned around.

"Mother, I hope you will not be taken advantage of again. Take care of yourself."

Ning Wanzhen felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar; her body trembled violently, and she slumped into a chair.

Five minutes later.

Sang Yuwan's secretary, Mina, came in and helped her out.

-

Rong Zhi came downstairs, and the man in black opened the back door of the car.

"Second Master, where are we going?"

Rong Zhi replied coldly, "Follow Madam."

The man in black nodded.

The car started, and the black Rolls-Royce sped away from the Bo Group like an arrow released from a bow.

Midway through, Rong Zhi dialed Sang Yuwan's number.

"Is it alright?"

A deep, restrained voice.

What do you think?

The person on the other end of the phone spoke in a relaxed tone, even with a hint of teasing.

Rong Zhi frowned, controlling his emotions, "Don't joke about children anymore."

The other person was silent for a few seconds, then smiled faintly, "Second Master, you figured it out?"

Rong Zhi's knuckles turned slightly white. "Which hospital are you planning to go to?"

The other person replied, "Do you know where I'm going?"

Rong Zhi glanced out the window, a dark undercurrent surging in his eyes. "Hang up."

The other party hung up the phone before he could.

Rong Zhi's lips twitched, and he slowly removed the phone from his ear.

"Who gave those photos to Ning Wanzhen?"

The man in black replied, "It was Bo Yuheng who did it."

"The old man was quiet for only a few days, and now he's stirring up trouble again." Rong Zhi's eyes were as cold and sharp as knives.

The man in black glanced at the rearview mirror. "It was bound to happen sooner or later. The Bo family is such a lucrative piece of meat, how could he possibly give it up?"

Rong Zhi sneered, "He can forget about it for the rest of his life."

The man in black pursed his lips. "With Second Master around, he can't accomplish anything."

Rong Zhi glanced ahead, his lips taut.

The man in black dared not say another word and silently increased the car's speed.

Just as they were about to catch up with Sang Yuwan, Rong Zhi received a phone call.

A number that is both familiar and unfamiliar.

From the capital.

His gaze darkened, and he hung up immediately.

The other party called again.

Rong Zhi gritted his teeth, his chest heaving, and pressed the answer button.

“Ah Zhi, your maternal grandfather…”

“I told you last time, don’t call me again except to announce a death.”

Rong Zhi's features became increasingly angular, and a shadowy light appeared in his eyes.

The other person was silent for a few seconds, then their voice suddenly turned sorrowful.

"Ah Zhi, your grandfather has passed away."

Rong Zhi's expression froze for a few seconds, then his eyebrows furrowed and he sneered, "He's finally dead."

Upon hearing this, the man in black gripped the steering wheel tightly, his palms sweating profusely.

Old Master Rong is dead.

Didn't I hear a few days ago that the situation had improved?

Why did you leave so quickly?

The man in black held his breath and tensed his back.

"Ah Zhi, the dead should be respected, especially since he was your maternal grandfather. Aren't you afraid of being struck by lightning for saying such a thing?"

"Heh." Rong Zhi let out a cold laugh. "I only said that he was finally dead, and I'm going to be struck by lightning. Then what about the things he did to my parents and to me? Shouldn't he go to the eighteenth level of hell?"

“Rong Zhi, you…” The other person choked, too angry to speak.

Rong Zhi hung up the phone.

Buzz—

A few minutes later, the other party called again.

Rong Zhi immediately blocked the phone number.

The surroundings were quiet, but my heart was in turmoil.

Rong Sheng is dead.

His only relative in the world has passed away.

Rong Zhi didn't know whether he should be sad or happy.
