Chapter 99 Even the Bo family's dogs aren't as obedient as you.

Sang Yu cleared her throat and replied irritably, "Don't ask anymore."

Rong Zhi chuckled, "Have you eaten?"

At this point, Sang Yuwan was no longer in the mood to chat with him. Her brows furrowed, and she emphasized, "I don't have time to waste with you. I'm hanging up."

That's what she said, but she didn't hang up the phone.

Rong Zhi said in a low voice, "Mind your own business and don't worry about others."

Although Sang Yuwan's face still showed anger, her heart gradually calmed down. "You too."

Mingxiao watched silently, his heart sinking.

He guessed who the other person was.

Sang Yuwan hung up the phone, took a deep breath, and asked, "Big brother, does Uncle Ming know?"

Ming Xiao shook his head. "I had the news covered up. Apart from you and me, no one else in the Ming family knows about it."

Sang Yuwan swallowed hard, a sharp pain shooting through her heart. "It's better to keep it a secret. He's getting old..."

Mingxiao's brow furrowed slightly, and he said gently, "Wanwan, growth comes at a price. I believe that after this experience, Zhan will quickly become a qualified successor."

Sang Yuwan's heart clenched, and her heartbeat suddenly became heavy again. "Big brother, actually you are more suitable than second brother."

“Me?” Mingxiao chuckled self-deprecatingly, his expression turning serious. “Only you think so.”

"Brother, I'm speaking from the heart. You are the backbone of the Ming family." After Sang Yuwan finished speaking, she suddenly felt a pang in her heart.

How could she have remembered what Rong Zhi said?

For a moment, Sang Yuwan was filled with trepidation.

Mingxiao noticed her subtle emotional changes, felt a pang of pain in his heart, and his gaze gradually dimmed.

"Wanwan, don't say things like that again."

"Mmm." Sang Yuwan pursed her lips.

Seeing that it was already lunchtime and that she was pregnant, Mingxiao suggested, "Wanwan, I'll stay here. You should go back."

Looking at the unconscious Ming Zhan, Sang Yuwan felt as if a huge rock was pressing on her heart, and her breathing was heavy and painful. "I'll sit for a while longer."

Mingxiao looked at her, his eyes filled with melancholy and sorrow. He sighed softly and then reassured her, "Don't worry, Zhan is awake. I'll send you a message right away."

He paused, then added, "Wanwan, I suggest you ask Second Master Bo about how to deal with Shen Yilin."

Sang Yuwan's breath hitched, her fingers unconsciously clenched, her heart beat faster, and she whispered, "Why should I ask him?"

Mingxiao's gaze softened as he said gently, "Because he is the second master of the Bo family."

Sang Yuwan's brows furrowed slowly as she said, "Big brother, I'll handle it."

“I know.” Mingxiao looked at her, his eyebrows slightly raised, his smile gentle. “Go back.”

Sang Yuwan got up, glanced at Ming Zhan again, and a hint of indescribable emotion lingered in her eyes.

-

Leaving the hospital.

Sang Yuwan did not return to the Bo Group, but went directly to the Bo family's old residence.

She had Minglang drive the car to the entrance of the three-room courtyard.

Upon receiving the news, Fang Yi felt both hatred and fear. She decided to stay in her room and wait for Sang Yu to come to her door that evening.

However, more than ten minutes passed and no servants came to announce it.

She was somewhat surprised, hesitated for a moment, and then walked out of the room. Just then, a servant passed by the door, and she called out to him.

"Didn't they say the patriarch was coming? Where is he?"

The servant replied, "The master went to the fourth young lady's room."

Fang Yi was shocked and paled. "Xinglan? What does she want with Xinglan?"

The servant shook his head. "I don't know about that."

Fang Yi scolded, "Why didn't you go and eavesdrop?"

The servant lowered his head, curled his lip, and thought to himself, "Why don't you go yourself?"

But he said, "I'll go right away."

The servant immediately turned around, but before she had taken two steps, Fang Yi called out to her, "Wait."

The servant turned around, looking surprised.

Fang Yi took a deep breath, her face somewhat gloomy. "Get out of here."

The servant couldn't have asked for more, and replied, "Yes."

Fang Yi stood in the courtyard for two minutes and walked back and forth several times, but still couldn't see Sang Yuwan come out of Bo Xinglan's room. Her expression grew increasingly unpleasant.

"Could she be trying to get Xinglan to abort the child?"

Instantly, Fang Yi's face turned ashen, and her heart pounded so hard it felt like it would burst out of her chest.

She couldn't stay any longer and hurriedly headed towards Bo Xinglan's room.

"Xinglan..."

Before Fang Yi could finish speaking, the door suddenly opened.

An extremely cold and aloof face came into view.

Fang Yi's expression froze, and she subconsciously took two steps back, her mouth slightly open, "Patriarch."

Sang Yuwan stood at the door, looking down at her with a dark and unfathomable gaze. "Third Aunt, why aren't you at the hospital with Third Uncle?"

"I... just got back." Fang Yi didn't dare to meet her gaze, her eyes slightly lowered.

"Third Aunt, come in." Sang Yuwan said coldly.

Fang Yi's heart skipped a beat, and a sudden sense of foreboding arose within her. She desperately wanted to escape, but all she could say was, "Okay."

Sang Yuwan turned around and went back inside.

As Fang Yi entered the room, she immediately saw Bo Xinglan huddled in a corner of the sofa, hugging a cushion and sobbing uncontrollably.

"Xinglan, what's wrong with you now?"

"Waaah..." Bo Xinglan almost bit her lips until they bled, and her eyes were swollen like two walnuts.

Fang Yi half-squatted in front of her, hugged her tightly, her heart pounding, "What happened? Tell me quickly!"

Bo Xinglan could only cry, without saying a word.

Fang Yi gently punched her back, somewhat exasperated, "Say something, are you mute?"

Bo Xinglan's shoulders trembled as she buried her head in the cushion.

Fang Yi got a little annoyed, grabbed her arm and shook it a couple of times, "Xinglan, don't be afraid, speak up."

Sang Yuwan couldn't stand it any longer and said coldly, "Third Aunt, whose child is Sixth Sister's?"

Fang Yi froze.

Bo Xinglan's body trembled even more violently.

Sang Yuwan stood there, looking down at him, her tone stern, "Third Aunt, you know very well whose child this is, don't you?"

Fang Yi's eyes flickered, and she asked nervously, "Isn't it Young Master Ming's?"

Sang Yuwan sneered, "Third Aunt, I said it before. The father of the child cannot be determined solely by Sixth Sister's word, much less by a single bed photo. Mingzhan is back. The truth about this child's father will soon come to light."

Fang Yi's face changed drastically, and her heart sank to the bottom. She opened her mouth, speechless, unable to utter a single word.

Sang Yuwan added, "Third Aunt, things shouldn't happen more than three times. I've already given you several chances."

Fang Yi was struck dumb. She stood up, walked to her, and knelt down with a thud.

“Patriarch, you know that your third uncle is the one who calls the shots in our family. Even if Xinglan and I are unwilling, we can only follow his arrangements.”

"Third Aunt, even the Bo family's dogs aren't as obedient as you." Sang Yuwan's lips curled into a sarcastic smile.

"You..." Fang Yi's face immediately turned extremely ugly. "Your words are too harsh."

"Is it unpleasant to listen to?" Sang Yuwan lowered her eyes, her gaze so cold it could freeze a person to death.

Fang Yi acted impulsively, a slight smile playing on her lips. "No matter what, I'm still your elder. How could you describe me as a dog?"

"Third Aunt, you only think of outsiders, how can you be worthy of being my elder? Calling you a dog is too lenient," Sang Yuwan mocked mercilessly.

Fang Yi's face turned from white to red, and she stood up again in anger, "I'm just so angry..."

"What are you upset about?" a low voice came from the doorway.
