Xi Bao immediately put on a smiling face and said, "I have no objection, Auntie, you're overthinking it!"

"Really?" Si Lili asked.

Xi Bao replied with a smile, "It really is, more real than real gold."

Si Lili looked at the little figure in front of her and smiled brightly. That smile warmed her heart like the winter sun.

The proverb came to mind: "One cannot hit a smiling face."

Since the little brat was smiling at her, she didn't need to hold a grudge and make things difficult for a child.

It wasn't a big deal to begin with, but her insistence on dwelling on it only makes her seem petty.

Furthermore, Xi Bao loves her aunt very much. Even at such a young age, she still thinks about protecting her aunt when facing danger, which deeply moves Si Lili.
