Chapter 2 He really looks like me?

As soon as the little one was free, he clung to Si Lijue's leg and wouldn't let go, crying out his grievances: "Waaah, Daddy, I almost died..."

As she spoke, she rubbed her little face against his trouser leg, just like a little kitten.

Someone's trouser leg was covered in snot and tears, the stains deeply imprinted on the trousers, forming an indelible mark.

Si Lijue frowned almost imperceptibly, looked down at the little one clinging tightly to his leg, and corrected him seriously: "Little brat, I'm not your father. Where are your parents? Let them come out and take you home."

He looked at the child who had just been rescued from the vending machine, thinking that he shouldn't scold the little guy and might scare the little devil, so he let the little dumpling hug his leg.

Standing next to Si Lijue, his special assistant Lin Fei couldn't help but think to himself, "Good heavens! It's raining red blood everywhere! How strange!"

Mr. Si is a germaphobe. He always wears clothes that are spotless and cannot be stained with even a speck of dust. He also doesn't allow anyone to touch him.

Today, he was hugged and cuddled by the dirty little brat in front of him, who even wiped his tears and snot on President Si's pants, while his President Si held back his anger. This was the first time in his life that he had experienced such a thing.

Could it really be a strange blood relationship at work? Is this little baby really President Si's child?

But, Mr. Si, when did you have an illegitimate child outside?

If there really is a child, how could I, as President Si's personal secretary and special assistant, not know?

Could it be that President Si secretly had a child with the young master?

But thinking about it, it makes sense. Who is President Si? He's the head of the Si Group; he couldn't have gotten to the top position without some serious skills.

Lin Fei admired Si Lijue immensely and made another note of him in his mental notebook.

The little baby raised her face, her obsidian-like eyes glistening with tears, and looked pitifully at the tall man in front of her. She answered firmly, "You are my father, and you are also my parent."

"Dad, please take me home!" A hint of expectation flashed in her eyes.

Si Lijue's face darkened visibly, and he sternly reprimanded, "Kid, didn't your parents teach you that children shouldn't lie and should be honest?"

The little boy, seeing that Si Lijue didn't believe him, looked at Si Lijue with a wronged expression and stubbornly argued loudly, "I didn't lie! You are my dad."

Si Lijue was also enraged by the little baby in front of him and asked loudly, "I don't have a son at all, so where did you come from?"

The little baby stared at him with wide, round eyes, her soft voice tinged with confusion, "Daddy, why are you asking that?"

Of course I'm the baby you and my mom had together!

"What, don't you want to acknowledge me?" After saying that, she frowned and pouted, seemingly very dissatisfied with her father's question.

Si Lijue sighed and rubbed his forehead, his tone impatient: "You're not my son, why should I acknowledge you? Let go of my leg."

"No!" The little baby, emboldened by some unknown source, defied him, refusing to let go.

Then, she posed a soul-searching question: "Dad, don't you love me or Mom? Is that why you don't want us?"

You've never raised me or come looking for me or my mother in all my years.

You have no idea how hard my life was with my mother, or how difficult it was for her to raise me.

After she finished speaking, tears started streaming down her face, making everyone around her feel heartbroken.

Lin Fei kept his eyes fixed on the baby, scrutinizing him closely, not daring to look away for a moment.

Her little face was covered in tears, like a little kitten, so dirty that you couldn't even tell what she looked like.

Her big, round eyes were swollen like walnuts, and her voice had become hoarse. It was clear that she had been crying for a long time, and this must have really frightened the child!

Even so, Lin Fei could still tell from the general outline of the child's face that he looked a lot like his domineering CEO.

Seeing that Si Lijue refused to acknowledge the child, and worried that Mr. Si would break the child's young heart, she had no choice but to remind him: "Mr. Si, he does look a lot like you. Could he really be your young master who was lost and raised outside?"

When Si Lijue saw Lin Fei beside him say the same thing, he looked down and carefully examined the little baby in front of him. The stubborn eyes, the slightly furrowed brows, the pouting little mouth, and the tearful appearance gave him a strange sense of familiarity. The woman who had forced herself on him five years ago flashed through his mind.

He had only ever been with that one woman in his life, and had never been with anyone else.

Could this child really be her and his biological child?

He turned to Lin Fei and asked, "Does he really look like me?"

Lin Fei nodded vigorously and answered with certainty, "Yes, it's similar. Except for the mouth, everything else is similar."

To ensure everything went smoothly, he took out a pack of wet wipes from his pocket, pulled out a few, walked over to Si Lijue, and suggested, "Mr. Si, the little boy's face is a bit dirty. Let me wipe it for him so you can see it more clearly."

Just as Lin Fei was about to wipe the little one's face, Si Lijue snatched the wet wipe from his hand.

Si Lijue said expressionlessly, "You're a grown man, and you don't know your own strength. What if you hurt the child? Get out of the way, I'll wipe him."

After being rejected by the BOSS, Lin Fei had a speechless expression on his face and silently stood aside.

He muttered to himself, "Me, a grown man? You're making it sound like you're not a man, Mr. Si."

Since you won't let me do it, then I'll just stand here and watch you do it.

I want to see if you'll hurt this child.

Si Lijue's heart was completely focused on the child in front of him, and he didn't even notice Lin Fei's expression.

He forcibly pulled the baby off his lap, squatted down, and reached out with a wet wipe to wipe the tears from the child's face.

He patiently coaxed, "Sweetie! Don't cry. It's not that I don't want you, or that I don't love you, or that I don't want to acknowledge you. It's just that I didn't even know you existed."

The little baby blinked his big, misty eyes, a hint of doubt on his face, and asked in a childish voice, "Are you telling the truth?"

Si Lijue nodded solemnly and answered firmly, "Yes! Really."

To show his sincerity to the little baby, look into his eyes with seriousness and determination.

The little boy felt that Si Lijue didn't seem to be lying, so he decided to believe him and said, "Okay! I forgive you, Daddy." After saying that, he lowered his guard and let Si Lijue wipe his face.

Si Lijue held a wet wipe and carefully wiped the dirt off the little baby's face. His movements were very gentle, as if he were holding the most precious treasure in the world, afraid that he might accidentally hurt the baby's delicate skin.
