Chapter 43 Her brother's love star is about to rise?

"Ah! How could you say that to me?" Si Lili screamed angrily, "Even if I find someone to have a child, it won't be my little nephew!"

Besides, they might not even be as cute or handsome as Xibao.

Si Lijue replied indifferently, "That's your problem, it has nothing to do with me."

Seeing that her brother was unresponsive, Si Lili had no choice but to turn her pleading gaze to Su Niannian and said urgently, "Niannian, you should do something about my brother. If this continues, we'll both really lose Xibao."

Su Niannian wanted to intervene, but she could barely protect herself, so how could she possibly manage Si Lijue?

She shrugged and whispered helplessly in Su Niannian's ear: "Do you think I can control your brother?"

Your brother is Xi Bao's father and also my creditor. If I want to see Xi Bao and live with her, I not only have to be mindful of his mood, but also have to smile and try to please him.

If I resist in any way or disagree with his decisions, and if I upset him, he will punish me and prevent me from seeing Xibao.

Wouldn't that backfire even more then?

Si Lili also felt that Su Niannian's words made sense, and she was unwilling to accept it.

"You're Xibao's biological mother, and you just watch him do whatever he wants, acting like a lawless monster!"

Su Niannian sighed, "Lili, he's just an arrogant and domineering client, and I'm just a pitiful mother who begs for his food. There's no way to fight back. Just bear with it a little longer!"

You know how important Xibao is to me; I can't be separated from Xibao yet.

Do you understand my situation?

The reason she agreed to Si Lijue's marriage agreement was not only so that Xibao could build a relationship with the Si family, but also so that she herself could gradually learn to let go of Xibao.

Hopefully, within this year, she can truly harden her heart and hand Xibao over to Si Lijue to raise.

Si Lili felt that her best friend had a hard time, so she comforted her, "I understand, of course I understand."

"Niannian, I'll listen to you. Let's be patient a little longer. Once Dad and Mom come back, our hard times will be over."

She secretly vowed that as soon as she got back to her room, she would call her parents and tell them to come back quickly and deal with her brother.

"Okay, sure!" Su Niannian didn't have high hopes, but she still nodded calmly.

Si Lijue saw the two women in front of him whispering and discussing how to deal with him.

Finally, I vaguely heard them mention the words "father" and "mother," and I rolled my eyes at them.

"The two of you together have at least fifty, if not sixty, why do you always complain to your parents?"

Si Lili argued logically: "It's all your fault. If you hadn't stopped us from contacting Xibao, we wouldn't have thought of complaining to Dad and Mom."

Si Lijue ignored her and walked over on his own.

He bypassed Si Lili and approached Su Niannian directly. He slightly raised his eyelids and fixed his gaze on her fair and delicate face, his eyes holding an ambiguous expression.

"I've only known Xibao for two days, do you have a problem with that?"

The implication is that you've been in contact with Xibao for five years, while I've only been with her for two days. Compared to you, I don't know how much I've lost.

Su Niannian wasn't stupid; of course, she understood the other meaning in his eyes and quickly shook her head: "No objection!"

"Mr. Si, as long as you're happy, I wouldn't dare complain even if it were two years, let alone two."

"You're smart to know what's good for you!" Si Lijue was satisfied with Su Niannian's answer, and his expression improved. He took the soccer ball from her hand and said slowly, "Wife, you're still calling me President Si? Remember to call me husband from now on!"

Si Lili was so shocked that she couldn't close her mouth, her eyes wide like copper bells, darting back and forth between the two people in front of her.

His eyes were like searchlights, illuminating every part of the person, inside and out, making him so excited that he could barely speak!

Good heavens! What shocking gossip did she hear?

Why did she have the illusion that her brother's love star was about to rise?

She didn't even need to help; Niannian and her brother were able to get together and stay together forever.

Si Lijue's words were so ambiguous that Su Niannian's ears suddenly burned.

"Mr. Si, please stop teasing me!" Su Niannian pretended not to see Si Lili's burning gaze and tried her best to remain calm. "Do you think I don't know my own capabilities? I wouldn't dare let you call me wife, and I don't have the guts to call you husband either!"

Si Lijue stared intently at her and said in a languid tone, "Wife, don't underestimate yourself. You've always been quite capable, haven't you?"

"???" Su Niannian opened her mouth, but really couldn't answer, nor did she dare to.

She knew perfectly well that he was implying something, alluding to her having slept with him five years ago, giving birth to Xibao behind his back, and hiding from him for five years so he couldn't find her...

Si Lijue smiled, a handsome smile playing on his lips. Before turning away from Su Niannian, he left with a single sentence.

"Remember, call me 'husband' next time. If you call me 'husband' again, you'll be punished."

What are the consequences if someone calls out the wrong name?

Are they going to imprison her in the hotel?

Are they still not allowing her to see Xibao?

Su Niannian didn't want any kind of punishment.

Si Lili watched as Si Lijue walked straight towards Xibao, and then played football with Xibao on the lawn.

With a gossipy heart, she asked Su Niannian curiously, "Niannian, my dear, were my brother with you last night?"

Su Niannian replied without changing her expression, "Mm!"

Si Lili's eyes sparkled with excitement as she eagerly asked, "Oh my, no wonder my brother was so gentle with you today?"
