Chapter 76 compares him to a wasp.

After much deliberation, Si Lijue decided that he could not say it outright, and could only speak ambiguously and implicitly.

As for how much Xi Bao can understand, that depends entirely on his genes.

After figuring it out, Si Lijue retorted, "If I were really as useless as you say, how could you even exist?"

"I was born from my mother, not from you. What does it matter to me whether you're useful or not?" Xiao Bao blinked his innocent and adorable big eyes, leaving Si Lijue speechless.

Su's father, mother, and uncle were all experienced people. Seeing Su Niannian and Si Lijue's reactions, they knew perfectly well what they had done in Su Niannian's room.

Knowing that Su Niannian and Si Lijue were getting married and seeing how good their relationship was, the three elders were quite happy.

After all, they certainly hope that their daughter can live a happy life.

To help their daughter and son-in-law out of the predicament, the three elders immediately tried to distract Xibao.

With a loving smile, Su's mother asked, "My little darling, is your tummy hungry? Let me tell you, your grandpa and great-uncle have prepared a whole table full of delicious food for you today."

How about we go grab a bite to eat now?

Mr. Su, standing nearby, quickly nodded in agreement, saying, "Yes, yes, my dear grandson, we've really made a whole bunch of your favorite dishes! Come, come, come with your grandpa, let me show you the exquisite culinary skills that our Su family has passed down through generations."

"Okay!" Xi Bao was a little foodie, and when she heard that there was something delicious to eat, she was successfully distracted. She licked her lips, nodded impatiently, and kept urging, "Grandpa, Grandma, let's go eat quickly."

He stretched out his chubby little hands, pulling on his mother's hand on the left and his father's hand on the right, and hurried towards the restaurant.

She had only taken two steps when she remembered that there was an uncle behind her, so she turned around and invited him with a smile, "Uncle, you should come too!"

"Okay, I'll be right there." Uncle stood up from the sofa, then suddenly seemed to remember something, stretched out his right hand and slapped his forehead hard, muttering, "Oh dear, look at my memory!"

The nourishing soup I made for your dad is still simmering on the stove; I almost forgot about it! Xibao, why don't you go with Grandpa and Grandma to the dining table and wait a moment? Your great-uncle will be right back.

After saying that, he rushed towards the kitchen as if the wind was blowing through his feet.

"Okay, Uncle, we'll be waiting for you at the restaurant. Be careful not to fall!" Xibao reminded him with a smile.

Su's mother and father pulled Xibao along and walked towards the dining room. The three of them went to the dining table, found seats and sat down, ignoring Su Niannian and Si Lijue who were still in the living room.

After the three of them sat down, Xibao started talking non-stop with Su's father and mother, as if she had opened a floodgate.

Xiao Bao blinked his big, bright eyes and asked curiously, "Grandpa, Grandma, do we have any of those tiny, buzzing bees at home?"

When Su's father heard Xiaobao's question, he was slightly taken aback at first, then smiled and replied, "No, why did you suddenly think of asking this?"

Xi Bao blinked her innocent big eyes and asked with a puzzled look, "If there are no bees in our house, how come Mommy's mouth was bitten and swollen?"

As he spoke, he gestured with his chubby little hands to indicate the location of his mouth.

He hasn't forgotten about this; he seems to have a good memory.

Upon hearing Xiao Bao's question, Su's father was taken aback, his eyes darting away.

After a moment, he stammered, "Uh... well, it wasn't a honeybee, but a particularly aggressive wasp that barged into our house!"

This wasp is not only domineering, it even tried to steal Grandpa and Grandma's sweet little jacket!

Xi Bao had seen the news; some people were stung by wasps and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment. Some survived, while others died from the poisoning.

He wasn't sure if the wasps his grandfather was talking about were the poisonous kind reported in the news, so he continued to ask, "Grandpa, are they wasps that can kill people?"

"I suppose so!" Su's father replied casually.

In his mind, Si Lijue was like a wasp, barging into his house without permission, coming directly to ask for the household registration book and to get a marriage certificate with his daughter. This was no different from being a robber.

With a worried look on her face, Xi Bao asked anxiously, "Will Mom be in danger? Should we take Mom to the hospital for a check-up?"

"It's alright, your mother has thick skin, she won't get hurt at all." Su's father gave Xibao a reassuring look, showing no concern for Su Niannian's safety.

The news report stated that not everyone who is stung by a wasp will be poisoned, so Xibao did not doubt Su's father's words.

"That's good." Xibao seemed to understand but not quite. "Grandpa, you and your great-uncle should use sticks to drive the wasps away so they won't harm others in the future."

Upon hearing this, Mr. Su shook his head repeatedly without hesitation, his face filled with fear, and said, "No, we absolutely cannot drive this wasp away! If we drive it away, we'll have really stirred up a hornet's nest! We'll all be in trouble then, and we might face great danger!"

Xi Bao, standing to the side, scratched her little head with a puzzled look on her face, muttering, "Oh dear! Could this wasp be the queen bee?"

How could it possess such immense power? It's so strange..."

In his mind, only the queen bee had such power and the ability to command her subjects, so that an entire colony of wasps would obey her orders.

"Ahem!" Father Su cleared his throat and said guiltily, "I guess so! He's even more powerful than the Queen Bee."

"Uh..." Xi Bao almost dropped her jaw in surprise. "There are wasps even more powerful than queen bees. When I have time, I must catch one and observe and study it carefully to see what's so special about it."

......

Si Lijue and Su Niannian stood in the living room. When they saw Su's father and mother, they didn't even greet them. Their minds were all on Xibao. The two of them looked at each other and walked helplessly toward the dining table.

The two had barely stepped into the restaurant when they overheard the conversation between Su's father and Xibao. They both stopped and looked at the grandfather and granddaughter with different expressions.

Su Niannian's fair and delicate face was filled with embarrassment and fear. Her bright eyes flickered with a complex light, showing both an uncontrollable smile and deep fear.

These conflicting emotions left her feeling somewhat helpless.

The reason she was so conflicted was that she had just heard her father compare the handsome, dashing, and aloof CEO next to her to a wasp!

Thinking about this, she couldn't help but want to laugh out loud.
