Jiang Zhi closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to calm herself down. She knew that she couldn't be swayed by her emotions and couldn't forget her mission. However, whenever she thought of Shen Qingchen's eyes, his gentleness and persistence, her heart would waver involuntarily.
Just then, Jiang Zhi's phone rang. She glanced at the screen and saw an unfamiliar number. She hesitated for a moment, then picked up the phone.
"Hello, hello." Jiang Zhi's voice was a little cold.
"Jiang Zhi, it's me, Shen Qingchen." Shen Qingchen's gentle voice came from the other end of the phone.
Jiang Zhi's heart skipped a beat and she didn't know what to say.
"Jiang Zhi, I know you have been looking for clues to Tang Junxi's murder, and I have been trying to find a way to help you. I hope you can give me a chance to face it with you." Shen Qingchen's tone was full of sincerity.
Jiang Zhi was silent for a moment, then said, "Chen Qingchen, why did you do this? You know that revenge is all I have in my heart, and I can't accept your feelings."
"Jiang Zhi, I don't care about your past and revenge. I only care about you as a person. I am willing to face all difficulties with you and find clues to Tang Junxi's murder together." Shen Qingchen said firmly.
Jiang Zhi was moved when she heard Shen Qingchen's words. She knew that Shen Qingchen was sincere, but she still didn't dare to accept this feeling easily.
"Chen Qingchen, thank you for your kindness, but I can't accept it. I don't want my feelings to become an obstacle to revenge, nor do I want you to be involved in my troubles." Jiang Zhi said and hung up the phone.

She fell in love with Shen Qingchen at first sight and began to pursue him. However, Shen Qingchen turned a blind eye to Jiang Yao's pursuit. In his heart, there was only Jiang Zhi.
When Jiang Yao saw Jiang Zhi, her heart was filled with jealousy. She walked up to Jiang Zhi and said with a sneer, "Jiang Zhi, who do you think you are? You are just a woman with a vengeful heart. You are not worthy of Shen Qingchen."
Jiang Zhi looked at Jiang Yao with a cold expression. She said, "Jiang Yao, there's no need to sow discord here. What's going on between Shen Qingchen and me has nothing to do with you."
"It has nothing to do with me? Jiang Zhi, you are too naive. Shen Qingchen is mine, and I won't let you take him away." Jiang Yao's eyes were full of jealousy and anger.
Jiang Zhi didn't want to get entangled with Jiang Yao, so she stood up and prepared to leave, but Jiang Yao blocked her way.
"Jiang Zhi, don't think you are so great. You are just a poor creature teased by fate. Your desire for revenge will make you lose everything, including Shen Qingchen." Jiang Yao said.
Jiang Zhi looked at Jiang Yao, anger rising in her heart. She said, "Jiang Yao, don't think you can threaten me. I won't give up revenge or Shen Qingchen just because of your words."
"You won't give up Shen Qingchen? Jiang Zhi, you are too confident. Shen Qingchen is just in a whim, he won't really fall in love with you. Besides, Shen Qingchen's family will not accept a woman with a vengeful heart." Jiang Yao said.
Jiang Zhi was a little shaken after hearing Jiang Yao's words. She knew that Jiang Yao had a point, and Shen Qingchen's family would not accept a woman with a vengeful heart. However, she was unwilling to believe that Shen Qingchen was just acting on impulse.
Jiang Yao saw Jiang Zhi's expression and felt secretly pleased with herself. She continued, "Jiang Zhi, you'd better give up. There's no way a relationship between you and Shen Qingchen will work. You'll only bring him trouble and danger."
