Chapter 173 Angry Jiang Yao

Jiang Yao stood in her luxurious yet lonely room, staring out the window at the receding figures of Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen. Jealousy burned in her eyes like a flame, threatening to consume her sanity. She couldn't understand why she couldn't compare to Jiang Zhi. She had exceptional beauty and a wealthy family background, so why did Shen Qingchen's gaze never linger on her, always following Jiang Zhi?

Jiang Yao clenched her fists, recalling the intimate interaction she had just witnessed between the two of them. Jiang Zhi's smile was so radiant in front of Shen Qingchen, and Shen Qingchen's eyes looking at Jiang Zhi were filled with endless tenderness and love. All of this was like a sharp thorn, piercing Jiang Yao's heart. Her lips trembled slightly, and the resentment in her heart overflowed like a surging tide.

"Why? Jiang Zhi, what's so good about you?" Jiang Yao roared at the empty room, her voice filled with resentment and anger. She felt like a discarded loser, standing in a dark corner, watching others enjoy the happiness she had always dreamed of.

Jiang Yao began to pace back and forth in the room, various plans to destroy their happiness constantly emerging in her mind. She knew that she could no longer play tricks like before, and she had to come up with a more vicious and thorough plan to make Jiang Zhi leave Shen Qingchen completely.

Her first thought was to target Jiang Zhi's reputation. Jiang Yao began using her family's connections to spread rumors about Jiang Zhi within social circles. She fabricated a series of fabricated stories, claiming that Jiang Zhi was a scheming woman who approached Shen Qingchen solely for his money and status. She also hired people to casually mention these rumors in various settings, attempting to spread these false information throughout the city's upper class.

However, Jiang Yao wasn't satisfied. She knew Shen Qingchen's trust in Jiang Zhi wouldn't be easily shattered by a few rumors. So, she decided to investigate Jiang Zhi's work. She spent considerable time and effort investigating her situation and discovered that she worked at a medical institution, where she was highly respected for her exceptional medical skills, often helping patients with difficult illnesses.

Jiang Yao's lips curled into a cold smile, thinking this was the perfect opportunity. Through some illicit means, she bribed a disgruntled clerk at the medical institution. Under Jiang Yao's instructions, the clerk began causing all sorts of trouble within the hospital. He secretly sabotaged medical equipment, altered patient records, and pinned the blame on Jiang Zhi.

Chaos ensued in the hospital, and the patients' trust in Jiang Zhi was eroded. Jiang Zhi found herself in a difficult position, forced to devote considerable time and energy to investigating the situation and proving her innocence. Meanwhile, Jiang Yao secretly rejoiced, feeling her plan was gradually succeeding.

However, Jiang Yao discovered that Shen Qingchen did not doubt Jiang Zhi because of these things, but instead cared and supported Jiang Zhi more. This made Jiang Yao's anger reach its peak. She felt like a clown, and no matter how hard she tried, she could not destroy the relationship between them.

Jiang Yao's anger drove her to the brink of madness, and she decided to resort to even more extreme measures. She began tracking Jiang Zhi's whereabouts, trying to find a suitable opportunity to physically harm her. One day, Jiang Zhi was walking alone on a secluded path on her way home from work. Jiang Yao saw this as a perfect opportunity, so she donned a mask and a hat and quietly followed Jiang Zhi.

When Jiang Zhi reached a dark corner, Jiang Yao quickened her pace, a wooden stick tightly clenched in her hand, ready to launch a surprise attack on Jiang Zhi. Just as she was about to strike, a stray dog suddenly rushed out from the side and barked at Jiang Yao. Jiang Zhi heard the dog barking and turned around alertly. Jiang Yao was startled by the sudden appearance of the stray dog and dropped the wooden stick in her hand.

Jiang Zhi spotted Jiang Yao. Although she was wearing a mask and a hat, he could still sense a strong hostility in her eyes. He frowned and asked, "Who are you? Why are you following me?" Jiang Yao panicked when Jiang Zhi spotted her, but she forced herself to remain calm and said, "Hmph, Jiang Zhi, don't get too cocky. You won't be this lucky forever." Then, she turned and ran, disappearing into the darkness.

Jiang Zhi looked at Jiang Yao's departing figure, her heart full of doubts. She knew that this person must be coming for her, but she didn't understand why this person was so hostile to her. Jiang Zhi didn't tell Shen Qingchen about this matter. She didn't want Shen Qingchen to worry, so she decided to investigate the matter herself.

After returning home, Jiang Zhi began to recall some strange things she had encountered recently. She found that everything seemed to be manipulated by a mastermind, and the goal of this mastermind was to destroy her and Shen Qingchen's happiness. Jiang Zhi's eyes became firm. She knew that she could not sit idly by and wait for death. She had to take the initiative to find this mastermind and protect her and Shen Qingchen's happiness.

Jiang Yao ran home, filled with regret and anger. She felt her actions today were too reckless. If Jiang Zhi caught her, her plan would be completely ruined. She sat on the sofa, gasping for breath, trying to calm herself down.

After a while, Jiang Yao's eyes grew even colder. She knew she couldn't just give up. She had to make a new plan, to make sure Jiang Zhi disappeared from Shen Qingchen's side. She began to formulate a more complex and covert plan in her mind, a plan that would involve more people and bring even greater disaster to Jiang Zhi.
