Sunlight streamed through the window onto the documents on Jiang Zhi's desk. She was concentrating on the task at hand, but her thoughts were disturbed by a sudden unease. Just this morning, she had noticed something strange about Shen Qingchen's mood. Shen Qingchen, who usually interacted with her with gentleness and energy, seemed absent-minded at breakfast today, his eyes revealing a hint of undisguised distress.
Jiang Zhi knew something was up. She was a sensitive person, and although Shen Qingchen tried to maintain a normal demeanor in front of her, their relationship made her acutely aware of his mood swings. She couldn't help but search her mind for possible reasons: work pressure? Family matters? But Shen Qingchen had always been good at handling such matters and wouldn't be easily affected by them.

And the slightly tentative tone of his partner on the phone seemed to hint that they had heard those rumors. All of this made Shen Qingchen feel extremely irritated.
He knew he shouldn't be affected by these rumors, as the relationship between him and Jiang Zhi was unbreakable. However, people's words were terrifying, and these rumors were like an invisible knife, slowly cutting a shallow mark on their relationship.
Jiang Zhi decided to have a good talk with Shen Qingchen. She put down her work and left the company early. On the way to Shen Qingchen's company, her heart was very heavy. She knew that at this time they had to be honest with each other and could not let these rumors destroy the happiness they had worked so hard to build.

Shen Qingchen also felt that Jiang Yao was a big suspect. He frowned and said, "If it really is her, then she is too much. We have warned her before, how dare she do this."
Jiang Zhi sighed and said, "Maybe she is just too jealous of our relationship, so she will do anything to get what she wants."
They decided not to alert the enemy for the time being, but to gather evidence first. If Jiang Yao was really behind this, they would make her pay the price.
After returning home, Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen were both in a heavy mood. Their once happy life was overshadowed by these rumors. But they knew they couldn't let these difficulties defeat them. They had to face it together and protect their love together.
At night, they lay in bed, without the sweetness and ease of the past. Jiang Zhi leaned in Shen Qingchen's arms and said, "Qingchen, I'm so afraid that these rumors will affect our relationship."
Shen Qingchen hugged her tightly and said, "Zhizhi, don't be afraid. Our feelings are not so fragile. As long as we trust each other, nothing can defeat us."
Jiang Zhi felt a little comforted after hearing Shen Qingchen's words. She knew that as long as the two of them worked together, they would be able to overcome this difficulty.
However, the impact of the rumors wasn't easily dispelled. The next day, Jiang Zhi noticed her colleagues were looking at her differently. Some people were talking behind her back, and although the voices were quiet, she could still sense the strange atmosphere. She tried to remain calm and ignore the rumors.
