Jiang Yao stood in front of the mirror, carefully dressing herself. She looked at herself in the mirror, and beneath her delicate makeup were eyes filled with jealousy and resentment. The detective frowned and asked, "Who is this Jiang Zhi? Why are you investigating her?"
Jiang Yao glanced at him impatiently, pulled a wad of cash from her bag, threw it on the table, and said, "You don't need to know so much, just do what I ask. This is a deposit. If you can find something valuable in the investigation, I will give you more money."
When the detective saw the money, his eyes lit up immediately. He quickly put the money away and said, "Okay, miss. Don't worry, I will investigate it as soon as possible."
Jiang Yao stood up and prepared to leave. Before leaving, she glanced back at the detective and warned him, "You must keep this a secret. Don't let anyone know that I'm investigating her. If this information leaks out, you know the consequences."
