As usual, Jiang Zhiru carefully selected a bouquet of flowers and prepared to visit her ailing friend in the hospital. Dressed in a simple yet elegant dress, her long hair draped over her shoulders, her eyes revealed tenderness and concern. Along the way, she felt a mixture of anxiety for her friend's condition and a sense of peace.
Arriving at the hospital, Jiang Zhi found her friend's room with familiarity. Her friend beamed with joy upon seeing her. Jiang Zhi placed flowers in a vase and sat beside her bed, chatting softly with her friend, sharing anecdotes from their lives and trying to help her temporarily forget the pain of her illness. Her words were like a gentle spring breeze, warming her friend's heart.
After spending some time in the ward, Jiang Zhi checked the time and decided it was almost time to go home. She said goodbye to her friend, told him to take good care of himself, and then left the ward. As she walked down the hospital corridor, a strange sense of alarm suddenly washed over her. Years of experience had given her a keen intuition, and she sensed that something was amiss in the atmosphere around her.
Jiang Zhi frowned slightly and quickened her pace. As she walked, she kept an eye on the surroundings. When she reached the hospital entrance, a few thug-like people suddenly appeared in front of her. They had unfriendly eyes and malicious smiles on their faces.
"Beauty, where are you going in such a hurry?" one of the gangsters said sarcastically.
Jiang Zhi's heart tightened, but she didn't show any panic. She looked at these hooligans calmly, her eyes revealing determination and fearlessness.
"Get out of the way, I don't know you." Jiang Zhi's voice was cold and powerful.
The hooligans were not intimidated by her aura, but surrounded her even more arrogantly.
"Don't be so unkind. How about playing with us?" said another gangster, reaching out to pull Jiang Zhi.
Just as the thug's hand was about to touch Jiang Zhi, Jiang Zhi quickly moved and grabbed his wrist. Her strength was so great that the thug screamed in pain. Seeing this, the other thugs rushed over.
Jiang Zhi remained undaunted. With her impressive skills, she nimbly dodged the thugs' attacks. Her movements were swift and decisive, each one perfectly neutralizing their attacks. She dodged sideways, then kicked the thugs in the gut, preventing them from reaching her.
The thugs didn't expect Jiang Zhi to be so powerful, and they began to panic. But they relied on their numbers and refused to give up. One of the thugs pulled a dagger from his pocket and stabbed Jiang Zhi.
Jiang Zhi's eyes flashed. She quickly dodged the dagger and then kicked the thug to the ground. The dagger fell to the ground with a crisp sound. Jiang Zhi took the opportunity to pick up the dagger and pointed it at the thugs.
"If you dare to mess around again, I won't be polite." Jiang Zhi's voice was full of majesty.
The hooligans were frightened by Jiang Zhi's momentum and they dared not act rashly. Jiang Zhi took the opportunity to call the police, and soon the police arrived at the scene. When the hooligans saw the police coming, they were frightened and fled in all directions, but they were quickly subdued by the police.
Jiang Zhi told the police what had happened, and they praised her bravery and resourcefulness. They took the hooligans away and said they would investigate the matter further. Jiang Zhi breathed a sigh of relief as she watched the police leave. But she knew this was no accident, and someone must be deliberately targeting her.
Jiang Zhi began to recall recent events, and she thought of Jiang Yao. Ever since she married Shen Qingchen, Jiang Yao had been jealous of her and constantly causing trouble. This incident was likely orchestrated by Jiang Yao. Jiang Zhi decided to investigate the matter and find the mastermind behind it.
She first went to the hospital's monitoring room and checked the surveillance footage at the hospital entrance. The footage clearly showed the hooligans' every move, as well as the time and place they appeared. Jiang Zhi carefully observed the footage, trying to find some clues. She found that before the hooligans appeared, there seemed to be someone nearby giving them instructions. Although the figure was blurry, Jiang Zhi still felt a sense of familiarity.
Jiang Zhi copied the surveillance footage and began investigating the identities of the thugs. Through various channels, she learned that these thugs were unemployed and often caused trouble in the surrounding neighborhood. She also discovered that these thugs seemed to have had contact with a mysterious person in recent times.
Jiang Zhi continued her investigation, finally finding the mysterious man. She discovered that he frequently appeared in places where Jiang Yao had been, and that they seemed to have some kind of connection. Jiang Zhi became even more certain that Jiang Yao had orchestrated this incident.
Jiang Zhi decided to confront Jiang Yao. She went to the place where Jiang Yao often appeared and waited for her to appear. After waiting for a while, Jiang Yao finally appeared. Jiang Zhi walked up to her without hesitation and blocked her way.
"Jiang Yao, why are you doing this?" Jiang Zhi's eyes were filled with anger.
Jiang Yao wanted to deny it at first, but after Jiang Zhi produced the evidence, her face turned grim. She knew she couldn't deny it anymore, so she started cursing.
"Jiang Zhi, you took away my happiness! I won't let you have an easy time." Jiang Yao's voice was full of resentment.
Jiang Zhi looked at Jiang Yao calmly. She knew that Jiang Yao had been blinded by jealousy.
"Love cannot be forced. Shen Qingchen has never liked you. You should stop this crazy behavior." Jiang Zhi's voice was firm and powerful.
