Jiang Zhi stood by the window, gazing at the bustling cityscape outside, her mind racing. She knew Jiang Yao was in dire straits. The woman once filled with jealousy and resentment now seemed to be on the brink of collapse. Jiang Zhi could have turned a blind eye to Jiang Yao's plight, even secretly rejoiced that her enemies had finally reaped the rewards of their actions. However, she couldn't remain so indifferent.
Jiang Zhi reflected on her journey, the pain and suffering, the struggles and perseverance, all of which made her cherish her present happiness even more. She knew that hatred would only bring more pain, and that forgiveness might bring a glimmer of hope to this dark soul. So, she decided to go to Jiang Yao and persuade her to let go of her hatred and start anew.
Jiang Zhi dressed carefully, choosing a simple yet elegant dress, hoping to look her best in front of Jiang Yao. She walked out of the house, the sun shining on her, as if shrouding her in a warm glow. Jiang Zhi arrived at Jiang Yao's residence, a run-down apartment building surrounded by a noisy and chaotic atmosphere.
Jiang Zhi took a deep breath and walked into the apartment building. The hallway was filled with a stale smell, and the paint on the walls had peeled, revealing a mottled surface. She found Jiang Yao's room and knocked gently on the door.
After a while, the door slowly opened and Jiang Yao appeared. Her eyes were filled with surprise and vigilance. She looked at Jiang Zhi and asked coldly, "What are you doing here?"
Jiang Zhi looked at Jiang Yao with a smile and said calmly, "Jiang Yao, I'm here to talk to you."
Jiang Yao frowned and said impatiently, "We have nothing to talk about. Go away. I don't want to see you."
Jiang Zhi wasn't put off by Jiang Yao's attitude. She gently pushed the door open and walked into the room. The room was in a mess, with clothes scattered on the floor and the table piled high with debris. Jiang Zhi couldn't help but feel a little emotional as she watched all this. She walked up to Jiang Yao and said sincerely, "Jiang Yao, I know you're in a difficult situation right now, but hatred won't solve the problem. Let go of the hatred and start your life anew."
Jiang Yao listened to Jiang Zhi's words, and a look of disdain appeared on her face. She sneered and said, "Who do you think you are? What qualifications do you have to lecture me? You stole my happiness, and now you're hypocritically trying to persuade me to let go of my hatred. I'm telling you, I won't let you go."
Jiang Zhi looked at Jiang Yao's eyes full of resentment and felt a little sad. She knew that Jiang Yao's heart was full of pain and jealousy, but she also understood that only by letting go of hatred could Jiang Yao be truly free. Jiang Zhi said slowly: "Jiang Yao, I know you like Chen Qingchen, but love cannot be forced. Chen Qingchen chose me, this is his decision. You can't live in hatred because of this. You should find your own happiness."
Jiang Yao looked at Jiang Zhi angrily and shouted, "My happiness? You took it all away from me, what happiness do you want me to find? Do you think I don't want to let go of my hatred? But I can't. Every time I see you happy, my heart is filled with pain and jealousy. I hate you, I hate you!"
Jiang Zhi sighed softly and said, "Jiang Yao, I understand how you feel. But hatred will only make you more miserable. You should try to let go of the past and start over. I can forgive what you did before, but you must promise not to hurt us again."
Jiang Yao was silent for a moment after hearing Jiang Zhi's words. Then, she raised her head and looked at Jiang Zhi, her eyes still full of suspicion and disdain. She said, "Can you really forgive me? Don't you think I'm hateful?"
Jiang Zhi smiled at Jiang Yao and said, "Everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to recognize your mistakes and correct them. I believe you can do it too. Let go of the hatred and start your life anew. You will find that there are many beautiful things waiting for you in this world."
Jiang Yao looked at Jiang Zhi's sincere eyes, and her heart wavered. She knew what Jiang Zhi said made sense, but her heart was still filled with contradictions and struggles. She didn't know if she could let go of the hatred and start her life anew.
Jiang Zhi noticed Jiang Yao's hesitation. She walked over to her and gently held her hand. "Jiang Yao, I know this is difficult, but you must be brave enough to take this step. Let go of the hatred, and you will find that your life can become much better. You are still young, and you have many opportunities to pursue your own happiness."
Jiang Yao felt the warmth in Jiang Zhi's hands, and the ice in her heart seemed to slowly melt. Tears glistened in her eyes, and she didn't know what to say.
Jiang Zhi continued, "Jiang Yao, I hope you can consider my words carefully. Let go of your hatred, not only for Shen Qingchen and me, but also for yourself. You can't keep living in the pain of the past. You should face the future bravely."
Jiang Yao was silent for a long time, then slowly said, "I'll think about it."
Jiang Zhi felt a little relieved after hearing Jiang Yao's words. She knew that Jiang Yao had begun to waver, which was a good start. Jiang Zhi looked at Jiang Yao with a smile and said, "Okay, I hope you can make a decision as soon as possible. If you need any help, you can always come to me."
Jiang Zhi finished speaking and left Jiang Yao's room. She walked down the hallway, her heart filled with hope. She believed Jiang Yao would eventually let go of her hatred and start anew.
When Jiang Zhi returned home, Shen Qingchen was already waiting for her. He saw Jiang Zhi coming back and hurried to greet her, asking with concern: "How is it? What did Jiang Yao say?"
Jiang Zhi looked at Shen Qingchen with a smile and said, “She is still hesitant, but I believe she will make the right choice.”
After hearing what Jiang Zhi said, Shen Qingchen felt a little worried. He said, "Jiang Yao is so stubborn, will she really let go of her hatred? I'm worried that she will do something to hurt you again."
