On this day, the sun shines through the thin clouds onto the streets of the bustling city, but it cannot dispel the haze in Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu's hearts. They discover that their investigation has attracted the attention of relevant national departments, which means they are about to face even more severe challenges.
Jiang Zhi wore a simple black suit, her long hair tied up, her eyes revealing determination and alertness. Lin Yu wore dark casual clothes, his face serious, always on guard. They stood on the rooftop of a high-rise building, overlooking the bustling city, their minds racing.
"I didn't expect it to attract the attention of relevant national departments so quickly." Jiang Zhi frowned slightly, with a hint of worry in his tone.
Lin Yu nodded and said solemnly, "This is indeed beyond our expectations, but it also shows that our investigation has touched upon some sensitive areas. Now we must be even more cautious, otherwise the consequences will be disastrous."
Jiang Zhi took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. She knew that they could not retreat and had to move forward to avenge Tang Junxi and uncover the huge conspiracy behind it.
Just as they were contemplating their next move, they suddenly sensed a mysterious presence looming. Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu exchanged glances, instantly realizing the approaching danger. They quickly hid in a corner of the rooftop, vigilantly observing their surroundings.
A few moments later, several men in black suits and serious expressions appeared on the rooftop. They looked around, as if searching for something. Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu held their breath, not daring to make a sound.
"They must be agents from relevant state departments." Lin Yu said in a low voice.
Jiang Zhi nodded slightly, secretly thinking about a countermeasure in her mind. She knew that if they were discovered by these agents, they would be in great trouble.
After searching the rooftop, the agents found no trace of Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu, so they turned and left. Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu breathed a sigh of relief, but they knew that this was only temporary safety.
"We can't continue to be passive like this," Jiang Zhi said. "We must find a way to break free from the pursuit of relevant national departments and continue our investigation."
Lin Yu pondered for a moment, then said: "Perhaps we can find some hidden places to conduct the investigation, away from the sight of relevant state departments."
Jiang Zhi nodded, thinking it was a good idea. They decided to leave the rooftop and find a safe place to replan their actions.
They carefully walked down the rooftop and blended into the crowd. Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu remained vigilant and observed their surroundings. They found that there seemed to be some suspicious people on the street watching them.
"It seems that the relevant national authorities have launched a city-wide search." Jiang Zhi said in a low voice.
Lin Yu frowned and said, "We must find a safe place as soon as possible."
They quickened their pace, trying to get rid of those suspicious people. As they passed through a narrow alley, Jiang Zhi suddenly felt a strong breath coming towards her. She instinctively stopped and looked ahead vigilantly.
A tall, stern-looking man appeared at the end of the alley. He was wearing a black windbreaker, and his eyes revealed a cold, murderous intent.
"You are Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu, right?" The man's voice was low and powerful.
Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu exchanged a glance, a strong sense of crisis welling up in their hearts. They knew that this man must be an agent of the relevant state departments.
"Who are you? Why are you following us?" Jiang Zhi asked fearlessly.
The man's mouth curled up slightly, revealing a hint of a sneer. "I am a member of the National Special Operations Team, and I have been ordered to investigate your actions. Your investigation has already affected the national security interests, so we must stop you."
Jiang Zhi puffed out his chest and said firmly, "Our investigation is to uncover a huge conspiracy, for justice and the truth. We will not stop investigating."
The man shook his head and said, "You are too naive. You don't know what you are facing. This conspiracy involves the economic lifeline and political stability of the country. It is not something you can easily uncover."
Lin Yu stepped forward and said, "We know this conspiracy is dangerous, but we can't just sit back and watch. Tang Junxi's death can't just go on like this."
The man looked at them, a complex expression flashing in his eyes. He was silent for a moment, then said, "Since you are so insistent, I have no choice but to resort to forceful measures."
After saying this, the man flashed and instantly appeared in front of Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu. He attacked them with lightning speed. Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu quickly dodged and launched a counterattack at the same time.
Jiang Zhi displayed his superb medical skills, shooting silver needles at the man. The man was agile and easily dodged the needles. Lin Yu, using his fighting skills, engaged the man in close combat.
The three of them engaged in a fierce battle in the alley. The men were very powerful, and Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu gradually fell into trouble. But they did not give up and still resisted tenaciously.
At the critical moment, Jiang Zhi suddenly came up with an idea. She concentrated her mind and used a special medical technique to try to disrupt the man's thinking. The man felt a powerful spiritual force coming at him and was startled. He quickly focused his energy to resist Jiang Zhi's attack.
Taking advantage of the man's distraction, Lin Yu seized the opportunity and launched a fierce attack. The man was hit by Lin Yu and took a few steps back. Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu took the opportunity to escape from the alley.
