After returning from his business trip, Shen Qingchen came to Jiang Zhi with a heavy heart. His steps felt like they were filled with lead, and every step was extremely difficult. His heart was filled with reluctance and pain, an unspeakable tangle and helplessness.
When he stood in front of Jiang Zhi, he looked at the woman he loved deeply, and his emotions surged like a tide. Jiang Zhi's clear eyes flashed with confusion and surprise. She seemed to be unable to believe that Shen Qingchen would appear in front of her at this time. She was still beautiful, with her long black hair cascading down her shoulders like a waterfall. Shen Qingchen avoided Jiang Zhi's gaze. He didn't dare to look at her hurt eyes. He knew that his decision would bring great harm to Jiang Zhi, but he had no choice.
"Jiang Zhi, I...I don't love you anymore. The relationship between us has come to an end." Shen Qingchen said this against his will, his heart bleeding.
Jiang Zhi shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes. "No, I don't believe it. Shen Qingchen, you must have some difficulties. Tell me, what happened?"
Shen Qingchen gritted his teeth. He knew he couldn't be soft-hearted. "There's nothing wrong. I'm just tired of this marriage. Jiang Zhi, let's part ways amicably."
Jiang Zhi looked at Shen Qingchen's indifferent expression, and the pain in her heart flooded like a flood. She didn't understand why two people who once loved each other so much would come to this point.

"Jiang Zhi, stop pestering me. It's impossible for us to be together anymore. I'll have someone deliver the divorce agreement to you, please sign it." After Shen Qingchen finished speaking, he turned around and was about to leave.
Jiang Zhi looked at Shen Qingchen's departing figure, and tears finally burst out of her eyes. Her heart seemed to be torn apart, and the pain was incomparable. She didn't understand why fate had to play such a trick on her.
After Shen Qingchen walked out of the room, his steps became staggering. He leaned against the wall, covering his face with his hands, tears flowing from between his fingers. He knew that he had hurt Jiang Zhi, but he had no choice. He couldn't let Jiang Zhi be in danger because of him.
Shen Qingchen returned to his office and sat in his chair, unable to calm down for a long time. He recalled every little detail of his time with Jiang Zhi, and those beautiful memories were like sharp blades, piercing his heart.
He picked up the phone and dialed his assistant's number. "Prepare the divorce agreement and send it to Jiang Zhi." Shen Qingchen's voice was cold and resolute.
The assistant heard the pain in Shen Qingchen's tone. He hesitated and said, "Mr. Shen, do you really want to do this? Miss Jiang..."
"Do as I say!" Shen Qingchen interrupted his assistant. He didn't want to hear anything about Jiang Zhi anymore. He knew that he had to be ruthless in order to protect Jiang Zhi.
The assistant sighed helplessly and hung up the phone. He knew that Mr. Shen must have his own difficulties, but he also felt sorry for Miss Jiang.
Soon after, the divorce agreement was delivered to Jiang Zhi. Jiang Zhi looked at it, her heart filled with despair. Her hands trembled, and tears kept dripping onto the paper.
She picked up the pen and wanted to sign, but her hand would not obey her. Her heart was full of contradictions and pain, and she didn't know what to do.
Jiang Zhi thought back to the days she spent with Shen Qingchen. Those beautiful memories played out in her mind like a movie. They'd strolled through the park together, hand in hand, admiring the beautiful sunset; they'd cooked together at home, enjoying a warm, two-person world. Their love had once been so beautiful, so enviable.
But now, everything has changed. Shen Qingchen's ruthlessness completely broke Jiang Zhi's heart. She didn't know what she had done wrong and why Shen Qingchen treated her like this.
Jiang Zhi put down her pen and decided to go to Shen Qingchen to ask for clarification. She couldn't just divorce without knowing the truth. She wanted to know the truth.
Jiang Zhi came to Shen Qingchen's company. She ignored the secretary's obstruction and rushed directly into Shen Qingchen's office.
When Shen Qingchen saw Jiang Zhi, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes. He didn't expect Jiang Zhi to come to him.
"Chen Qingchen, tell me, why do you want a divorce? I don't believe you don't love me anymore." Jiang Zhi's voice was filled with anger and pain.
Shen Qingchen looked at Jiang Zhi, his heart full of helplessness. He knew that he could not tell Jiang Zhi the truth, otherwise she would be in greater danger.
"Jiang Zhi, I've said that I don't love you anymore. There is no love between us anymore, and divorce is the best choice." Shen Qingchen's voice was cold and resolute.
