Jiang Yao stood in front of the French window, gazing at the bustling cityscape outside, her heart filled with jealousy and resentment. Her gaze was fixed on a figure in the distance: Jiang Zhi, the woman she envied and hated.
From the moment she met Shen Qingchen, Jiang Yao was captivated by his cool yet intelligent demeanor. His wicked charm captivated her; she had never seen a man so captivating. However, Shen Qingchen only had eyes for Jiang Zhi, that ordinary yet unique woman. Jiang Yao couldn't understand why Jiang Zhi could command Shen Qingchen's love, while she herself had nothing.
Jiang Yao began secretly investigating the lives of Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen. She discovered a deep bond between them, and Shen Qingchen's doting on Jiang Zhi drove her to a rage of jealousy. Seeing their happiness, she felt a growing resentment. She decided to destroy their happiness and make Jiang Zhi suffer.
The first thing Jiang Yao thought of was to say bad things about Jiang Zhi in front of Shen Qingchen and sow discord between them. She began to make up all kinds of lies, trying to make Shen Qingchen misunderstand Jiang Zhi.
One day, Shen Qingchen was busy working in the office. Jiang Yao dressed up carefully and came to his office. She knocked on the door gently, and after hearing Shen Qingchen's response, she pushed the door open and walked in.
"Qingchen, you are so busy." Jiang Yao said gently with a charming smile on her face.
Shen Qingchen raised his head, glanced at Jiang Yao, and frowned slightly. "What's the matter?" His tone was cold, and it was obvious that he was not welcome to Jiang Yao's arrival.
Jiang Yao didn't care about Shen Qingchen's attitude. She walked to his desk and gently put down a cup of coffee. "Qingchen, I just came to see you. You work so hard, please take care of yourself."
Shen Qingchen ignored Jiang Yao's concern and continued to work. Jiang Yao felt a little disappointed when she saw Shen Qingchen ignoring her, but she did not give up. She began to look for topics to talk about, trying to get Shen Qingchen's attention.
"Qingchen, do you know? I've heard some rumors about Jiang Zhi recently." Jiang Yao deliberately lowered her voice and said mysteriously.
When Shen Qingchen heard Jiang Zhi's name, he raised his head slightly, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. "What rumor?" His tone was still cold, but Jiang Yao could feel his concern.
Jiang Yao was delighted. She knew that her words had aroused Shen Qingchen's interest. She pretended to be hesitant and hesitated to speak. "Qingchen, I don't know whether I should tell you. These rumors may make you unhappy."
Shen Qingchen frowned, “Just say whatever you want.”
Seeing the time was right, Jiang Yao began to make up a lie. "I heard Jiang Zhi was having an affair with another man. Someone saw her with a strange man, behaving intimately."
Shen Qingchen's face darkened instantly after hearing Jiang Yao's words. He didn't believe Jiang Zhi would do such a thing, but Jiang Yao's words sowed a seed of doubt in his heart. "Are you sure?" His voice was low and filled with anger.
Jiang Yao was secretly pleased to see Shen Qingchen angry. She continued to exaggerate, "I'm not sure, but the rumors are quite plausible. Qingchen, you have to be careful. Jiang Zhi may not be as simple as you think."
Shen Qingchen remained silent, his heart filled with conflict. He loved Jiang Zhi, but Jiang Yao's words had made him doubt her. He didn't know who to trust, and the pain in his heart kept him from calming down.
Seeing Shen Qingchen lost in thought, Jiang Yao knew that she had achieved half of her goal. She continued, "Qingchen, I know you love Jiang Zhi very much, but you also have to think about yourself. If Jiang Zhi really betrays you, what will you do?"
Shen Qingchen raised his head and looked at Jiang Yao, his eyes filled with pain. "I don't believe Jiang Zhi would betray me." His voice was firm, but Jiang Yao could hear his hesitation.
Seeing that Shen Qingchen was still insisting, Jiang Yao felt a little anxious. She decided to give him another strong dose of medicine. "Qingchen, I have another piece of news. I heard that Jiang Zhi has been using you. She only approached you for your money and status."
After hearing Jiang Yao's words, Shen Qingchen's anger reached its peak. He stood up suddenly and glared at Jiang Yao. "Don't talk nonsense! Jiang Zhi is not that kind of person."
Jiang Yao was startled by Shen Qingchen's reaction, but she didn't back down. She continued, "Qingchen, don't let love cloud your mind. Jiang Zhi may have been lying to you. You need to wake up."
Shen Qingchen looked at Jiang Yao, his eyes filled with anger and disappointment. He knew Jiang Yao was deliberately trying to sow discord between him and Jiang Zhi, but he couldn't help but feel a trace of doubt in his heart. He didn't know who to trust, and the pain in his heart made him unable to breathe.
Jiang Yao saw that Shen Qingchen's emotions had been aroused by her, and she was secretly proud of herself. She knew that her plan was half successful. She continued, "Qingchen, I just don't want to see you hurt by Jiang Zhi. You have to think carefully and don't let love blind you."
Shen Qingchen didn't say anything. He sat down and fell into deep thought. Seeing that Shen Qingchen no longer refuted, Jiang Yao knew that her goal had been achieved. She said softly, "Qingchen, I hope you can be happy. If you need my help, you can always come to me."
After saying that, Jiang Yao turned and left Shen Qingchen's office. She knew that her words had planted a seed of doubt in Shen Qingchen's heart. As long as she continued to work hard, she would definitely create a rift between Shen Qingchen and Jiang Zhi.
Jiang Zhi was filled with anger when she learned that Jiang Yao had said bad things about her in front of Shen Qingchen. She knew that Jiang Yao was deliberately destroying their relationship, but she couldn't explain it clearly. She decided to talk to Shen Qingchen and make him believe her.
