Jiang Yao wore a fiery red, tight-fitting dress, the hem swaying gracefully with her steps, her high heels making crisp, rapid noises against the ground. A smug smile graced her meticulously dressed face, but her eyes gleamed with jealousy and defiance.
Jiang Zhi was sitting on a park bench, quietly reading a book, enjoying a moment of peace. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting a soft glow on her. Her long hair draped casually over her shoulders, her slightly lowered eyes revealing a sense of tranquility and indifference.
Jiang Yao walked confidently in front of Jiang Zhi, deliberately blocking the sunlight. Jiang Zhi frowned slightly, then looked up. Seeing Jiang Yao's arrogant look, he couldn't help but feel a little annoyed.
"Hey, isn't this Jiang Zhi? Why are you reading here alone? Were you abandoned by Brother Qingchen, so you can only sit here and complain to yourself?" Jiang Yao's voice was sharp and harsh, full of sarcasm.
Jiang Zhi put down the book in his hands and looked at Jiang Yao calmly, without a trace of fear in his eyes. "Jiang Yao, is there anything wrong with you? If not, please don't disturb me."
Jiang Yao sneered, "Humph, you're quite courageous. But do you think you can stay so complacent forever? Brother Qingchen will be mine sooner or later. You're just a passing guest in his life."
Jiang Zhi raised the corner of his mouth slightly, revealing a faint smile. "Jiang Yao, you are too confident. The person Chen Qingchen loves is me, he won't be fooled by your sweet words."
"Hahahaha..." Jiang Yao laughed uncontrollably. "You're so naive! Brother Qingchen is just being deceived by you for a moment. Once he sees your true face, he will definitely come back to me."
Jiang Zhi stood up, a determined look in his eyes. "Jiang Yao, I don't want to argue with you about these meaningless things. Shen Qingchen's choice is his own decision, not something you and I can influence."
Jiang Yao looked at Jiang Zhi's confident expression, and the flames of jealousy in her heart grew even stronger. She took a step forward, approaching Jiang Zhi. "What do you think you are so great about? You are just an ordinary woman, and I, Jiang Yao, am the eldest daughter of the Jiang family. I have status, position, and wealth. Brother Qingchen can only be truly happy with me."
Jiang Zhi met Jiang Yao's gaze without flinching. "Jiang Yao, happiness is not measured by status, position, or wealth. Chen Qingchen and I are together because we love each other, and this is irreplaceable."
Jiang Yao's expression turned even uglier. She glared at Jiang Zhi fiercely, "Don't be so complacent! I will definitely make Brother Qingchen leave you."
After saying that, Jiang Yao turned and left. The sound of her high heels echoed in the air, as if announcing her determination.
Jiang Zhi watched Jiang Yao leave, feeling helpless. She knew Jiang Yao wouldn't give up and would try every possible means to destroy her and Shen Qingchen's relationship. However, Jiang Zhi wasn't afraid. She believed that the love between her and Shen Qingchen was unbreakable.
Back home, Jiang Zhi sat on the sofa and fell into deep thought. She thought of Shen Qingchen's tenderness and care for her, and her heart was filled with warmth. She knew that no matter what difficulties they encountered, they could face them together.
However, Jiang Zhi also had a trace of worry in her heart. She knew Jiang Yao was a person who would do anything to achieve her goals, and she didn't know what crazy things Jiang Yao would do. However, Jiang Zhi decided not to back down. She would use her wisdom and courage to protect her love with Shen Qingchen.
The next day, Jiang Zhi came to the company and found Jiang Yao there. When Jiang Yao saw Jiang Zhi, a smug smile appeared on her face.
"Jiang Zhi, you didn't expect that? I also work in this company now. We will have many opportunities to meet in the future." Jiang Yao's voice was full of provocation.
Jiang Zhi frowned slightly, "Jiang Yao, what on earth do you want to do?"
Jiang Yao walked up to Jiang Zhi and said in a low voice, "I want you to know that I am more suitable for Brother Qingchen than you are. I will demonstrate my abilities at work and let Brother Qingchen see my value. You, on the other hand, will only become a burden to him."

In the days that followed, Jiang Yao began to deliberately make things difficult for Jiang Zhi at work. She always assigned Jiang Zhi heavy tasks and constantly found fault with her work. Jiang Zhi knew that Jiang Yao was targeting her, but she did not back down. Instead, she worked hard to complete each task.
However, Jiang Yao's harassment didn't stop. She started spreading rumors within the company, saying Jiang Zhi only got in through connections and that her work ability wasn't up to par. These rumors quickly spread throughout the company, putting Jiang Zhi in a difficult position.
Jiang Zhi knew she couldn't just sit there and wait for death. She began searching for evidence to prove her competence and innocence. She worked overtime, striving to complete every project and actively communicating and collaborating with her colleagues. Her efforts finally paid off. Her colleagues began to respect her and gradually gained confidence in her abilities.
Jiang Yao, seeing her plan fail, grew even more furious and decided to resort to more extreme measures to ruin Jiang Zhi's life.
One night, Jiang Zhi returned home from work to find paint splashed on her front door. Insulting words were also written on the wall. Jiang Zhi knew it must have been Jiang Yao's doing. Anger surged within her, but she remained calm. She calmly took out her phone, took photos of the scene, and called the police.
