Jiang Yao had become increasingly unscrupulous ever since Shen Qingchen had brought her to Jiang Zhi's presence. Her jealousy towards Jiang Zhi burned like a raging fire, unquenched for a moment. She believed Jiang Zhi had snatched Shen Qingchen, who was rightfully hers, and so she was determined to make Jiang Zhi suffer.
At Shen Qingchen's company, Jiang Yao deliberately acted extra close to Shen Qingchen in front of everyone. She would affectionately hand documents to Shen Qingchen during staff meetings, and would deliberately discuss work with Shen Qingchen in a soft voice, her eyes filled with deliberate ambiguity. Whenever Jiang Zhi passed by or worked nearby, she would deliberately raise her voice, as if she was afraid Jiang Zhi couldn't hear her.
“Qingchen, look at this plan. I think it would be better if it was modified like this?” Jiang Yao said, leaning slightly towards Shen Qingchen, her fingers lightly tapping the document.
Although Shen Qingchen felt somewhat disgusted with Jiang Yao's behavior, in order to protect Jiang Zhi, he could only cooperate with her acting, with a faint smile on his face, responding to her words. When Jiang Zhi saw this scene, her heart was stabbed, but she still endured it and pretended to be calm and continued to work.
However, Jiang Yao's troublemaking didn't stop there. She began to create various problems for Jiang Zhi at work. Jiang Zhi was responsible for a crucial part of a major project planning project. Upon learning of this, Jiang Yao secretly tampered with the materials Jiang Zhi had prepared. She falsified key data, causing serious errors in Jiang Zhi's presentation to the client.
The client flew into a rage and questioned Jiang Zhi's ability to perform. "What's wrong with your company? You can't even get such important data wrong! How can we trust you?" The client's accusations were like sharp swords piercing Jiang Zhi.
Jiang Zhi was deeply puzzled. She had carefully checked the data many times and knew there shouldn't be any mistakes. But she didn't have time to dwell on it. She could only quickly apologize to the customer and promise to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
After returning to the office, Jiang Zhi began to recheck the information and soon discovered traces of data tampering. Her first reaction was that Jiang Yao had done it, but she had no evidence, and the most important thing now was to regain the client's trust.
Jiang Zhi had to work overtime to reorganize the data and redesign the plan. She stayed awake all night, her eyes bloodshot, but she persevered. Finally, the next morning, she found the client again with a new plan and accurate data.
Seeing Jiang Zhi's dedication and responsibility, the client's attitude softened slightly. Jiang Zhi explained the situation in detail and assured the client that similar issues would not arise again. The client ultimately chose to continue working with the company, much to Jiang Zhi's relief.
But Jiang Yao didn't give up. At an internal company meeting, she deliberately made some unreasonable criticisms of Jiang Zhi's work. "I think Jiang Zhi's efficiency on this project is too low, and she hasn't addressed many details well. If we all work like her, how can the company's performance improve?" Jiang Yao said, her eyes filled with defiance.
Jiang Zhi was furious, but she remained calm. She stood up and responded with reason and evidence, "I admit there were some problems with this project, but I resolved them promptly. I've always been dedicated to my work, and I hope there's a legitimate basis for these unfounded accusations."
The other colleagues at the company also saw this. They knew that Jiang Zhi had always been very capable at work, and this incident was likely a deliberate frame-up. However, they did not dare to offend Jiang Yao easily, after all, she was now very close to Shen Qingchen.
Shen Qingchen watched all this silently from the side, his heart filled with guilt towards Jiang Zhi. He knew what Jiang Yao had done, but he couldn't speak up for Jiang Zhi at this time, otherwise everything he had done before might be in vain. He could only look for opportunities in secret to help Jiang Zhi solve these problems.
Seeing that Jiang Zhi wasn't defeated by her, Jiang Yao grew even more furious. She began to rally some of the company's disgruntled people to isolate Jiang Zhi. At company gatherings, she deliberately prevented others from interacting with Jiang Zhi and even spoke ill of him behind his back.
"Do you know? Jiang Zhi got his current position through some improper means." Jiang Yao deliberately whispered in front of a group of colleagues, but her voice was just loud enough for people around to hear.
"No way, I think she works very hard." A colleague expressed doubt.
"Hmph, that was all her pretending. You don't know that she did a lot of shameful things behind our backs." Jiang Yao continued to slander Jiang Zhi.
Jiang Zhi was deeply saddened when she heard these words. She didn't understand why she had to endure such treatment, but she knew she couldn't let Jiang Yao defeat her like this. She wanted to let Jiang Yao know that she wasn't someone who could be easily defeated.
Jiang Zhi began working even harder. She took on more projects, demonstrating her abilities through her own actions. She arrived at the office early every day and worked late into the evenings. She constantly learned and improved herself, hoping to achieve even greater success at work.
In a major company project bid, Jiang Zhi's team worked tirelessly day and night to produce an exceptional bid proposal. At the bidding site, Jiang Zhi confidently presented their proposal to the client, earning her high recognition for her expertise and excellent communication skills.
In the end, the company successfully won the bid for the project, and Jiang Zhi was highly praised by the company's leaders. This made Jiang Yao even more jealous, but she also had to admit that Jiang Zhi did have some strength.
