The gears of fate seemed to inadvertently begin to turn faster, once again tightly intertwining the fates of Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen. After an unknown amount of time, the voices of rescue workers could be heard from outside the elevator. They were working to open the elevator door. A ray of light shone into the elevator, and the door slowly opened, allowing people to exit the elevator one after another. Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen followed the crowd out, their eyes still locked. In that instant, they saw a special emotion in each other's eyes: the rekindled flame of love.
From then on, the relationship between them was like a bonfire that burned brighter and brighter. Every time Jiang Zhi saw Shen Qingchen in the hospital corridor, a warm feeling would well up in her heart.
