She knew that the battle they had long anticipated but feared had finally arrived. Shen Qingchen quickly picked up the phone and notified his bodyguards to prepare for the response. At the same time, he pulled Jiang Zhi towards the safe room in the residence. It was a place he had specially prepared before, equipped with some emergency protective equipment and communication tools.
However, the mysterious organization seemed to have already figured out the layout of this place. Just as they were about to reach the safe room, a group of men in black emerged from the stairs, blocking their way. These men wore black masks, revealing only pairs of cold eyes. They held various weapons in their hands, including pistols, daggers, and some specially made fighting equipment. Shen Qingchen protected Jiang Zhi behind him, his body slightly leaning forward, like a cheetah guarding its territory, ready to pounce on the enemy at any time.
"You finally can't help showing up." Shen Qingchen said coldly, trying to overwhelm the other party with momentum. But the men in black did not respond, but slowly approached them. Suddenly, a man in black raised his hand and fired a gun. The bullet flew past Shen Qingchen's ear and hit the wall behind him. Jiang Zhi couldn't help but scream. Shen Qingchen felt a pain in his heart. He knew that he had to take Jiang Zhi out of this dangerous situation as soon as possible.
He seized the opportunity and rushed towards the nearest black-clad man, using his superior fighting skills to quickly snatch the weapon from his hand, and then engaged in a fight with the other black-clad men. Jiang Zhi was also not idle. She looked for opportunities to attack the enemies who approached her with objects that could be used, such as chairs and vases. Just when she was about to collapse, Shen Qingchen broke through the enemy's encirclement and came to her side. He hugged Jiang Zhi tightly and used his body to block the enemy's attacks for her.

When the men in black fell for it and concentrated their firepower on him, he pulled Jiang Zhi and rushed to the fire escape. After finally running out of the fire escape, they arrived at the back of the building. But it wasn't safe here either. The mysterious organization had already set up an ambush here. A black van pulled up, the door opened, and several more men in black emerged. Shen Qingchen and Jiang Zhi were caught in the middle, with no way out and pursuers behind them.
