Chapter 567 Jiang Zhi's Dilemma and Breakthrough

Jiang Zhi stood in the simple, secluded hiding place, his brow furrowed, his gaze solemn. The room was filled with an oppressive atmosphere, and the few dim lights hanging on the wall flickered, as if they would go out at any moment, just like their precarious situation.

Her allies sat around, their faces haggard, their eyes filled with fatigue and worry. Their stockpiled supplies had been dwindled by the mysterious organization's repeated attacks. Food could barely last a few days, and medicine was desperately scarce. Their hiding place was no longer safe; the enemy seemed poised to reappear at any moment.

"Jiang Zhi, what should we do now?" An ally couldn't help but break the silence, with a hint of despair in his voice.

Jiang Zhi took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. Her mind was racing. She knew she had to calmly analyze the situation and look for any chance of a breakthrough, otherwise, destruction would be the only outcome.

"Everyone, don't panic." Jiang Zhi's voice was calm and firm. "Although we are facing difficulties, the enemy is not invincible. Let's review the current situation."

She began pacing the room, speaking as she went, "The mysterious organization's attacks on us recently seem to be haphazard, but I believe they must have some kind of information source to be able to locate our hiding place so accurately. We must first find this traitor or the source of the intelligence leak."

The allies nodded and began to carefully recall their recent actions and the people they had come into contact with. After some discussion, they discovered that there seemed to be some unusual signs before several operations, but they had not received enough attention at the time.

Jiang Zhi pondered for a moment and said, "From now on, we must change our methods of action, set up some false clues to confuse the enemy, and at the same time pay close attention to the actions of those around us."

However, just as they were discussing countermeasures, a sudden burst of noisy footsteps was heard outside. Jiang Zhi's eyes flashed, and he whispered, "The enemy is coming, everyone get ready!"

Everyone quickly grabbed their crude weapons and prepared for battle. Jiang Zhi quietly approached the window, observing the situation outside through the crack. He saw a group of black-clad members of a mysterious organization approaching their hiding place. Their steps were orderly and swift, and the weapons in their hands flashed coldly in the weak sunlight.

Jiang Zhi's heart tightened. She knew that with their current strength and equipment, a head-on fight would be difficult to win. But she didn't panic. Instead, she made a decision in an instant.

"Let's not expose ourselves for now. Wait until they get closer. I have a way to deal with them." Jiang Zhi whispered to his allies.

She turned and walked to a corner of the room, and from a hidden box she took out some special potions she had collected and made. These potions were carefully formulated using her in-depth knowledge of medicine and poisons. Although the materials were limited, she believed that they could play an unexpected role at a critical moment.

Jiang Zhi distributed the potions to his allies and briefly explained how to use them: "Once these potions come into contact with the enemy's skin or are inhaled, they will cause them to become dizzy and paralyzed for a short period of time. But everyone should be aware that the potions have a limited range, so they must be used only when the enemy is within a suitable distance."

The allies tightly grasped the potions in their hands, a glimmer of hope rekindled in their eyes. They trusted Jiang Zhi, just as they had every time they faced a crisis.

As the enemy's footsteps drew closer, Jiang Zhi's heartbeat quickened. She stared out the window, calculating the best moment. When the enemy was only a dozen meters away from their hiding place, she decisively waved her hand: "Now, attack!"

The allies threw their potions at the enemy. The vials shattered among the enemy, emitting a faint puff of smoke. The members of the mysterious organization were caught off guard and inhaled the smoke, momentarily throwing their ranks into disarray. Many began to stagger, their vision blurring, their weapons falling to the ground.

"Get out!" Jiang Zhi yelled, rushing out first. Her agility was like a cheetah, and before the enemy could fully react, she had already rushed into their camp. She cleverly dodged those who were still struggling and ran towards several people who looked like the leaders.

Jiang Zhi displayed her exquisite fighting skills, each move imbued with power and precision. Her punches and kicks were as fierce as the wind, leaving the enemies struggling to resist. Under her attack, several leaders were quickly subdued.

"Tell me, how did you find us?" Jiang Zhi asked sternly, with majesty in his eyes.

However, these enemies gritted their teeth and refused to utter a single word. Seeing this, Jiang Zhi knew that it would be difficult to obtain information from them, but she did not give up.

"Take them back first, and we will interrogate them slowly." Jiang Zhi said to the allies who came later.

After dealing with this wave of enemies, Jiang Zhi did not let down her guard. She knew that this was only a temporary relief for the crisis, and the mysterious organization would definitely not give up. They had to find a more effective way to break through as soon as possible.

After returning to her hiding place, Jiang Zhi began interrogating the captives. Using her wit and insight into human nature, she tried to find clues from their subtle expressions and reactions. Although the process was difficult, she eventually obtained some useful clues from one of the captives.

It turned out that the mysterious organization had deployed some spies within their area of operation. These spies disguised themselves as ordinary people and secretly monitored their every move. In addition, the mysterious organization also intercepted some of their communication information, thus being able to know their plans in advance.
