Suddenly, she spotted a stream nearby, its water gurgling and seemingly harbouring life. With an idea, she feigned panic and ran in the opposite direction of the stream to attract the enemy's attention. After the enemies gave chase, she quickly turned back and ran downstream, using the water to mask her scent and tracks, successfully escaping the enemy's pursuit.
These perilous experiences, far from breaking Jiang Zhi, only made her more resilient. With each escape from death, her wisdom and skills were further honed and improved. She learned to find hope in despair and to create opportunities in adversity. Her eyes no longer held a relentless determination for revenge, but also a calmness and composure that comes from enduring hardships.
