Jiang Zhi stood at the window of her makeshift shelter, gazing out at the unfamiliar, yet perilous city. She realized clearly that she alone was no match for Jiang Yao and the mysterious organization. Her gaze hardened, and her mind quickly sorted through past memories and clues. Next, Jiang Zhi turned his attention to the Su family. Originally a family of physicians, they were framed by a mysterious organization. Their life-saving medicine was smeared as poison, bringing the Su family into disrepute. A family elder also died unjustly in the aftermath. Jiang Zhi inquired and learned that the Su family had a young female doctor, Su Yao. Though forced to leave the family hospital, she had been secretly studying medicine, attempting to clear the family's name.
After some twists and turns, Jiang Zhi finally found Su Yao in a remote clinic. Su Yao was wearing a clean white doctor's uniform, her eyes focused and firm. After Jiang Zhi explained her purpose to her, Su Yao's eyes flashed with hesitation. "I know what you said is serious, but I'm just a doctor, what can I do?" Jiang Zhi held her hand: "You are a member of the Su family, and your medical skills are a great help to us. Moreover, only if we unite can we uncover the truth and restore the reputation of the Su family." Su Yao pondered for a moment and finally made up her mind: "Okay, I'll go with you."
In her search for allies, Jiang Zhi encountered numerous difficulties and setbacks. Some family members, fearing further persecution, shunned her proposals, while others harbored doubts, fearing she was setting a trap. But Jiang Zhi refused to give up. She patiently explained her situation time and again, moving those hesitant with her sincerity and determination.
In addition to the Lin and Su families, Jiang Zhi also contacted survivors from several other clans, including the Chen and Luo families. These individuals came from diverse backgrounds and fields, some excelling in business operations, others in information technology, and still others with exceptional martial arts skills. They each silently licked their wounds in their own corners, but Jiang Zhi's arrival was like a ray of light shining into their dark world, rekindling their hope.
When the families gathered, the atmosphere was initially tense and awkward. After all, they were once rivals, with many conflicts and rifts between them. But Jiang Zhi stood before them, his gaze firm, and said, "Everyone, we have all been persecuted by Jiang Lingchuan and the mysterious organization. Now, if we continue to fight alone, we will only perish. Only by uniting can we have the strength to fight them and avenge our families and our fallen loved ones."
Her words were like a heavy hammer, hitting everyone's heart. Lin Yu was the first to stand up: "Jiang Zhi is right, my Lin family is willing to put aside the past grievances and work hand in hand with everyone." Su Yao also nodded: "My Su family is the same." Under their leadership, others also expressed their willingness to join this alliance.
Jiang Zhi looked at these like-minded people, feeling moved and filled with confidence. She knew this was just the beginning, and countless difficulties and obstacles awaited them. But as long as they united as one, nothing could stop them from pursuing the truth and revenge.
In the days that followed, Jiang Zhi and her allies began intensive preparations. They found an abandoned factory in a remote corner of the city and transformed it into their temporary base. She directed the installation of traps and alarms around the factory to prevent sudden enemy attacks.
For training, Jiang Zhi enlisted the services of Chen Feng, a former special forces ally, to oversee their combat skills and teamwork. Chen Feng instituted a rigorous training schedule, beginning with a morning physical training session on the base's playground, including long-distance running, push-ups, sit-ups, and more. This was followed by training in the use of various weapons, from pistols and daggers to simple homemade weapons. Jiang Zhi also kept busy, utilizing her medical skills to prepare healing medicines and strengthening potions for everyone.
