Jiang Yao stood in the dark and damp abandoned factory, surrounded by a group of cold-eyed, well-trained assassins. Her face twisted with rage, her eyes bloodshot as she fiercely stared at the intelligence in her hand regarding Jiang Zhi's recent movements. Ever since her last defeat, resentment had grown like wild weeds within her heart, and now she was determined to channel all her anger and resentment into the most deadly revenge.
"Listen, there's only one mission this time," Jiang Yao's voice was sharp and cold, like the cry of a night owl. "Assassinate Jiang Zhi's allies at all costs. I want to make her feel the pain of losing her family and friends. I want her to struggle in despair!"
The assassins nodded silently, accustomed to such bloody orders. Jiang Yao glanced around with satisfaction, then waved her hand. The assassins disappeared into the darkness like ghosts, each rushing towards their target.
Jiang Zhi's allies, those who once fought alongside her against Jiang Yao and the mysterious organization, were still unaware of the impending disaster. They were busy with their own lives, some were busy with family affairs, some were taking care of their families, and some were continuing to investigate clues to the mysterious organization.
The first person to be attacked was Lin Yu, the eldest son of the Lin family. He was leaving the company building, preparing to attend an important business meeting. Suddenly, a black van screeched to a halt beside him, its doors flung open, and several assassins rushed out. Lin Yu's bodyguards reacted quickly, but the assassins were extremely agile and well-armed. Gunfire rang out, and the crowd fled in all directions. Lin Yu, shielded by his bodyguards, attempted to flee, but the assassins, clearly prepared, skillfully dispersed the bodyguards' forces and cornered him. Lin Yu fought back fiercely, but despite his training in self-defense, he gradually lost his strength against such professional assassins. Finally, an icy knife pierced his chest. He collapsed in disbelief, his eyes widening, blood spilling onto the ground.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Su Yao, the daughter of the Su Group, was assassinated. She was enjoying a rare downtime at a café with friends. Disguised as waiters, the assassins approached quietly. By the time Su Yao realized something was amiss, it was too late. A cup of poisoned coffee was forced down her throat. She clutched her throat in agony, trying to cry for help, but the assassins muffled her voice. Her friends watched in horror, powerless to do anything. Su Yao's body gradually lost strength under the ravages of the poison, her eyes filled with fear and resentment, and she collapsed to the ground, breathless.
Similar tragedies unfolded in every corner of the city. One by one, Jiang Zhi's allies were attacked, some shot in the streets, some assassinated in their homes, and some killed in car accidents while driving. Each death scene was filled with blood and despair, while Jiang Yao quietly waited for news behind the scenes, a twisted look of pleasure on her face.
When Jiang Zhi learned the devastating news, she was caring for her children in her secret residence. The news was like a bolt from the blue, instantly devastating her. She dropped her teacup, shattering it, and felt as if she had lost her soul. The twins, a boy and a girl, sensed their mother's strangeness and stopped playing, staring at her with wide eyes.
"Mom, what's wrong with you?" Sister Xiaoxuan pulled Jiang Zhi's clothes, her voice filled with a hint of fear.
Jiang Zhi slowly squatted down and hugged the children tightly in her arms. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she forced herself not to let them fall. Her heart was filled with grief and anger. Every dead ally was like her family. They had fought for justice together, but now they were brutally killed.
"It's Jiang Yao, she's a devil!" Jiang Zhi said gritting his teeth, with endless hatred in his voice.
She gently let go of the children and stood up, her eyes gradually becoming resolute. She knew she couldn't let grief overwhelm her now; she had to avenge her allies. She quickly gathered her thoughts, contacting her remaining allies, reminding them to strengthen their defenses and gathering them together to discuss a countermeasure.
Jiang Zhi's allies rushed over after hearing the news. Their faces were filled with sadness and anger, but their eyes were also filled with firm determination. In this critical moment, they united even more closely.
"We can't let Jiang Yao succeed. She must pay a heavy price!" an ally said angrily.
"That's right, we have to take the initiative and can't just sit there and wait for death." Another ally echoed.
Jiang Zhi looked at them, a warm feeling welling up in her heart. Despite suffering such a devastating blow, they still didn't retreat. She took a deep breath and began to formulate a counterattack plan.
"First, we must strengthen our own security measures to ensure that there are no more casualties. Then, we must conduct an in-depth investigation into the whereabouts of Jiang Yao and the mysterious organization, find their weaknesses, and deliver a fatal blow." Jiang Zhi said calmly.
The allies nodded in agreement. They began to divide the work, some responsible for contacting professional security teams, some responsible for collecting intelligence, and some began to prepare weapons and equipment.
Jiang Zhi wasn't idle either. Using her wisdom and medical skills, she began developing specialized medicines and weapons. She locked herself in her laboratory, working tirelessly day and night. Her gaze was focused and determined, and every movement was filled with power.
Throughout this process, Jiang Zhi's heart was in constant struggle. She knew that the battle with Jiang Yao and the mysterious organization would become increasingly brutal, and she might lose more. But she also knew that for the sake of justice and for the sake of her fallen allies, she must persevere. She thought of Tang Junxi and Shen Qingchen's father, whose deaths were all linked to this mysterious organization. She couldn't let their sacrifices be in vain. She was determined to uncover the true face of this mysterious organization and completely destroy them.
