When the members of the mysterious organization saw Jiang Yao being spared by Jiang Zhi, their anger erupted like a volcano. They already harbored resentment towards Jiang Zhi and her allies, and now that Jiang Yao had been captured, they felt their dignity was damaged. They decided to launch a frantic resistance in a desperate attempt to break out.
Leading the group was a burly man with a cold gaze. His name was Lei Bao, a fierce leader of the mysterious organization. He had distinguished himself in countless underground battles, renowned for his ferocious fighting style and ruthless tactics. His face was filled with rage, and he gripped his specially crafted long sword tightly. The blade gleamed coldly in the dim light, as if foreshadowing the bloody slaughter that was about to unfold.
"Brothers, we can't let that woman succeed! Even if it means risking our lives, we must fight our way out!" Lei Bao roared, his voice reverberating throughout the base, shaking everyone like thunder. His words were like a fire, instantly igniting the fighting spirit of the mysterious organization. They gripped their weapons tightly, their eyes gleaming with determination.
The members of these mysterious organizations are all rigorously trained desperadoes. Some excel in close combat, their muscular bodies as strong as steel, each punch and kick imbued with immense power. Some are proficient in firearms, able to aim and hit the target in an instant, as if the guns in their hands are part of their bodies. Still others are adept at using various concealed weapons, with darts and poison needles hidden in their sleeves and waists, ready to take someone's life at any moment.
They quickly assembled, forming a tight battle formation. Lei Bao stood at the forefront, like a towering mountain, imbuing those behind him with an invisible sense of oppression. Behind him, a group of close combat experts, armed with sharp blades, fanned out, their steps steady, their eyes vigilantly observing their surroundings. Further back, a row of well-trained gunners crouched on the ground, their guns firmly resting on their shoulders, observing the movements ahead through their scopes, their fingers lightly on the triggers, ready to fire at a moment's notice.
Jiang Zhi and her allies sensed the mysterious organization's movements, knowing full well that the battle was about to intensify. Jiang Zhi's gaze grew even more stern as she quickly adjusted her composure, silently formulating a strategy. She knew these enemies were formidable, and a single misstep could lead to total defeat. She couldn't allow that to happen, for behind her lay not only her own children but also the allies who had fought alongside her, sharing life and death.
"Everyone, stay calm! Maintain your formation and coordinate!" Jiang Zhi shouted. Her voice was firm and powerful, as if possessing a magical power that calmed the allies' initial nervousness. As she spoke, she drew her weapon from her waist—a slender, sharp, flexible sword. She had acquired this sword by chance. Made of a special alloy, it was extremely flexible, allowing it to change shape at will during battle, allowing her to strike the enemy with surprise.
Jiang Zhi's allies responded, weapons clenched, ready for battle. Among them was a young man named Lin Xiao, a descendant of the family once murdered by Jiang Lingchuan. Lin Xiao was slender, his eyes bright, and he held an exquisite longsword, a family heirloom, engraved with ancient runes said to hold mysterious powers. Standing beside Jiang Zhi, he was filled with hatred for the mysterious organization and vowed to avenge his family, even at the cost of his own life.
There was also a woman named Su Yao, skilled in the use of hidden weapons and poisons. In her hand, she held a small bamboo tube filled with a variety of specially crafted poison needles. These needles, meticulously formulated by her, were extremely potent, capable of instant paralysis or even death upon entry. Su Yao's eyes revealed a hint of coldness; though she was a woman, her courage and resolve in battle were no less than those of a man.
The mysterious organization launched the first attack. Lei Bao, brandishing his long sword, charged at Jiang Zhi like an enraged tiger. Each step shook the ground, and his long sword traced a dazzling arc through the air, whirring with the sound of wind as it barreled straight toward Jiang Zhi's throat. Seeing this, Jiang Zhi dodged Lei Bao's attack with ghostly agility. Her soft sword flew out, wrapping around Lei Bao's long sword like a spirit snake, attempting to wrest it from her.
Lei Bao wasn't about to surrender so easily. He swung his long sword vigorously, trying to free himself from Jiang Zhi's soft sword. Simultaneously, the melee experts behind him rushed forward, brandishing their blades and slashing at Jiang Zhi and her allies. For a moment, the flashes of swords and sabers crisscrossed, and the shouts of killing were deafening.
Jiang Zhi's allies, undeterred, charged forward, engaging the mysterious organization's melee masters in a fierce clash. Lin Xiao displayed his masterful swordsmanship, his longsword wielding like a dragon emerging from the sea, each strike targeting the enemy's vital points. He thrust, stabbed, and chopped, unleashing his family's inherited swordsmanship to its fullest potential. Several members of the mysterious organization fell to the ground, wounded by his blows. But he dared not relent, knowing the enemy was outnumbered and the battle had only just begun.
Su Yao, on the other hand, looked for an opportunity. She quietly circled around the enemy's flank, tilted the bamboo tube in her hand slightly, and shot out several poisonous needles like lightning, accurately piercing the bodies of several members of the mysterious organization. These people instantly felt paralyzed, their movements became slow, and they were soon knocked down by Jiang Zhi's other allies.
However, the mysterious organization's gunmen also began to make a difference. Taking advantage of the chaos, they opened fire on Jiang Zhi and the others. Bullets rained down like raindrops, splashing dust on the ground. Jiang Zhi and her allies were forced to temporarily avoid the bullets and seek cover.
