Jiang Zhi stood outside the dimly lit holding cell, peering through the reinforced glass at Jiang Yao, cowering in the corner. Jiang Yao's hair was disheveled, and her usual arrogance had vanished, replaced by a look of fear and unease. She seemed to sense Jiang Zhi's gaze and tilted her head slightly. The moment their eyes met, she quickly looked away, as if struck by lightning, her body involuntarily curling even tighter into the corner.
Jiang Zhi knew that although Jiang Yao was now in dire straits, her past experience in the mysterious organization and her intricate connection with Jiang Lingchuan could hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of the mysterious organization. She slowly pushed open the door and entered the holding cell, each step carrying an invisible pressure that made Jiang Yao's breathing quicken.
"Jiang Yao, you should be aware of your current situation." Jiang Zhi's voice echoed in the silent detention room, cold and unquestionable. Jiang Yao's lips trembled slightly, but she dared not utter a word. She just looked at Jiang Zhi with horror.
Jiang Zhi walked up to Jiang Yao, squatted down, looked her in the eye, and continued: "The crimes you committed are enough to bring you eternal damnation. But I can give you a chance, a chance that may alleviate your sins." A glimmer of hope flashed in Jiang Yao's eyes, but it was quickly replaced by doubt.
"You've been in the mysterious organization for so long, you must know a lot about their internal operations, core members, hidden strongholds and other information. I want you to be my pawn to infiltrate the mysterious organization, pass on information for me, and help me completely destroy them." Jiang Zhi stared at Jiang Yao's eyes, trying to read her thoughts.
Jiang Yao was caught in a fierce internal struggle. She knew that if she followed Jiang Zhi's advice, she would once again find herself in extreme danger. The mysterious organization's treatment of traitors was extremely cruel, and if discovered, she would suffer torture worse than death. However, if she refused, Jiang Zhi would certainly not let her go easily. The predicament she faced was enough to drive her to despair.
"Why should I trust you? What if I help you and you still don't let me go?" Jiang Yao finally mustered up the courage and asked in a trembling voice.
Jiang Zhi sneered, "You have no room for bargaining. But as long as you sincerely cooperate, I can guarantee that after the mysterious organization is destroyed, I will give you a relatively light punishment and give you a chance to start a new life. Of course, if you dare to play any tricks, I will make you regret living in this world."
Jiang Yao lowered her head, tears welling in her eyes. She began to recall how she had fallen into her current situation. Her jealousy of Jiang Zhi and her greed for power and status had led her blindly to join the mysterious organization, believing they could help her realize her ambitions. However, events unfolded far beyond her control.
"I... I can try, but I can't guarantee success. The mysterious organization is very vigilant and they have a strict review mechanism." Jiang Yao said helplessly.
Jiang Zhi stood up and nodded with satisfaction: "Just do your best. From now on, you must follow my instructions. I will arrange for people to closely monitor you, so don't take any chances."
Jiang Zhi then began to discuss with Jiang Yao how to regain the mysterious organization's trust and successfully infiltrate its ranks. Jiang Yao revealed that the mysterious organization periodically maintains secret contact, usually using specific codewords and tokens at a secluded location. However, her previous defeat in the fight with Jiang Zhi had already aroused suspicion among some of the organization's higher-ups, making regaining their trust a difficult task.
After a moment's deliberation, Jiang Zhi came up with a plan. She had Jiang Yao pretend to have escaped from custody. She would then deliberately leave clues within the area where the mysterious organization might be monitoring her, implying that she was being hunted because she knew a crucial secret about Jiang Zhi and had been forced to flee and seek the organization's protection. To make the plan more convincing, Jiang Zhi even staged a small-scale "chase" in which Jiang Yao would be injured in the chaos, and then follow a predetermined route to escape to one of the mysterious organization's outposts.
As they implemented this plan, Jiang Zhi and her allies kept a close eye on Jiang Yao's every move, ready to respond to any unexpected situation. Following Jiang Zhi's instructions, Jiang Yao stumbled towards the mysterious organization's base. Fear and unease filled her heart, yet she knew there was no turning back.
When Jiang Yao finally approached the mysterious organization's outpost, she was stopped by a group of guards. She feigned composure and, using a pre-prepared code, revealed her identity and purpose. The guards, suspicious of her presence, questioned her carefully and consulted their superiors before reluctantly allowing her into the base.
Inside the base, Jiang Yao met a mid-level official from the mysterious organization. He looked at her sharply, questioning her failure and her escape. Following Jiang Zhi's instructions, Jiang Yao tearfully recounted how Jiang Zhi had discovered her connection to the mysterious organization, and how, while imprisoned, she had overheard a crucial secret between Jiang Zhi and his allies. Believing it crucial to the organization, she risked her escape, hoping to atone for her mistake.
The mysterious organization's mid-level officials were skeptical of Jiang Yao's claims, but decided to report her situation to higher-ups. While awaiting a response from higher-ups, Jiang Yao was kept under close guard, constantly worried her lies would be exposed. Meanwhile, Jiang Zhi anxiously awaited feedback from Jiang Yao within the mysterious organization.
Finally, a message arrived from the top brass of the mysterious organization, demanding Jiang Yao return to a more secluded headquarters for further interrogation and review. Jiang Yao knew this was another formidable challenge. If she could successfully pass this review, she might truly become a valuable pawn for Jiang Zhi within the mysterious organization; but if she failed, she would be doomed.
