Chapter 671 Jiang Yao - Crazy Plan

Jiang Yao stood in the dark, damp basement, surrounded by a stench of decay and despair. Her eyes gleamed with madness and jealousy, like two burning flames. Upon learning of Jiang Zhi's childbirth, these flames spiraled out of control, consuming her remaining sanity.

Jiang Yao already hated Jiang Zhi to the core; his very existence seemed a cruel mockery. She felt that Jiang Zhi had taken away Shen Qingchen, who was rightfully hers. And now that Jiang Zhi had a child, her happiness drove Jiang Yao to the brink of madness. "Why? Why did she get all this? And I can only struggle alone in this darkness!" Jiang Yao roared, her voice echoing in the empty basement, startling several rats roosting in the corners.

Her once beautiful face was now distorted by jealousy, becoming hideous and terrifying. Jiang Yao knew that if she wanted to completely wipe Jiang Zhi from Shen Qingchen's world, she had to kill her without fail, and she had to eradicate her roots, leaving no trace of her. So, she decided to collude with a mysterious and dangerous organization. This organization wielded a vast influence in the city's underworld. They were ruthless and would stop at nothing to achieve their goals. For a high enough price, there was nothing they wouldn't do.

Jiang Yao met with the leader of a mysterious organization. The meeting took place deep within an abandoned factory, filled with the pungent smell of chemicals. The dim lights flickered on the rusted ceiling, as if ready to go out at any moment. Jiang Yao eagerly laid out her plan: "I want you to help me find Jiang Zhi and her child. No matter what method you use, I want them to disappear from this world." The mysterious organization's leader sneered, saying, "This won't be easy. Jiang Zhi is no pushover. We'll have to pay a heavy price." Jiang Yao gritted her teeth and replied, "Money isn't a problem. As long as you complete the mission, I'll pay you well."

After the deal was struck, Jiang Yao threw herself into orchestrating this deadly conspiracy. She was like a mad artist, except her brush was dedicated to death and destruction. Jiang Yao meticulously researched Jiang Zhi's possible hiding places, poring over every available source on him, leaving no detail unseen. She speculated that Jiang Zhi might be hiding in secluded alleys on the city's fringes, or in obscure corners of older residential areas. After all, Jiang Zhi, now with a child, needed a relatively secluded yet convenient location.

So, Jiang Yao dispatched her most ruthless assassins. These killers were demons that had crawled from the depths of the dark world, their hands stained with blood, and they had long since become numb to the idea of killing. Jiang Yao issued a death order: "Set a tight net along Jiang Zhi's possible hiding places. I don't care what tactics you use, but if you find them, strike immediately and don't let them escape."

The killers followed their orders, moving through the city's streets like ghosts. Some disguised themselves as street vendors, setting up stalls in places Jiang Zhi might be, their eyes constantly scanning the crowds. Others lurked in the shadows of tall buildings, closely observing every move in the target area through binoculars. Still others blended in with community service workers, hoping to get closer to any potential leads.

Jiang Yao herself was also busy. She personally directed the hunt, constantly adjusting the assassins' deployment. She set up numerous checkpoints along Jiang Zhi's possible escape route, each rife with dangers and traps. In narrow alleys, she had assassins hiding in the houses lining them, poised to pounce on Jiang Zhi as he passed. On the roads leading out of the city, she set up roadblocks and fake police officers, ensnaring Jiang Zhi if he attempted to drive away.

Jiang Yao showed absolutely no mercy for Jiang Zhi's child. She had even planned to kill Jiang Zhi and dispose of the child as well, eliminating any future trouble. Her heart was filled with a twisted sense of pleasure, as if she could already see Jiang Zhi lying in a pool of blood, and Shen Qingchen's grief upon learning of Jiang Zhi's death. Then, she could take advantage of the situation and get everything she had always dreamed of.

However, Jiang Yao didn't realize that her madness was driving her towards ruin. Blinded by jealousy, she lost her basic sense of humanity and morality. She thought she had everything under control, yet she didn't realize that the gears of fate were already turning, and a storm brewing that would bring her down.
