Chapter 69: A Dangerous Pursuit

Jiang Zhi's actions aroused the high vigilance of the mysterious organization. Like an enraged beast, they began to hunt Jiang Zhi more frantically. Jiang Zhi once again fell into an unprecedented crisis. Every step he took was like walking on thin ice. If he was not careful, he might be doomed.

The mysterious organization's influence was like an impenetrable net, enveloping the entire city. Their spies were everywhere, and Jiang Zhi's every move was under their surveillance. Whether it was a bustling commercial street or a quiet alley, there might be assassins from the mysterious organization hiding. Jiang Zhi had to remain vigilant at all times, her nerves tense to the extreme, not daring to relax even a little.

In this perilous moment, Jiang Zhi feels her situation grows increasingly precarious. The mysterious organization's pursuit intensifies, seemingly determined to kill her at all costs. Jiang Zhi constantly changes her hiding place, but the mysterious organization always finds her quickly. She begins to doubt her ability to complete her mission of revenge, feeling filled with despair and helplessness.

However, Jiang Zhi didn't give up. She knew she couldn't let Tang Junxi down, and she couldn't let his death go to waste. She gritted her teeth and told herself she would persevere no matter how difficult it got. She re-examined her investigation methods, looking for new breakthroughs.

Jiang Zhi recalled her journey, from the discovery of the diary in that remote old bookstore to the fierce confrontation with the mysterious organization. Every detail emerged in her mind. She realized that she might have missed something in some links, which made it so easy for the mysterious organization to find her.

She began carefully analyzing the mysterious organization's patterns of movement and tracking methods. She discovered that they seemed to be somehow able to obtain information about her whereabouts, which puzzled her deeply. She began checking her belongings for tracking devices. After a careful examination, she found nothing suspicious.

Jiang Zhi fell into deep thought, wondering how the mysterious organization had tracked her down. She began to think about the people she had come into contact with during the investigation, wondering if anyone had tipped off the mysterious organization. She recalled everyone she had spoken to, trying to find any possible clues.

During this process, Jiang Zhi remembered the man she had rescued from the abandoned factory. That man had met the mysterious figure before and provided clues about a mysterious organization and a mysterious figure. Jiang Zhi began to doubt whether that man was truly trustworthy. Perhaps he was an undercover agent sent by the mysterious organization, deliberately providing her with false clues and leading her into danger.

Jiang Zhi decided to find the man again to confirm his identity and motives. She carefully returned to the abandoned factory, looking for any trace of the man. However, the abandoned factory was empty and the man seemed to have disappeared without a trace.

Jiang Zhi was very disappointed. She didn't know where the man had gone, nor did she know if he had really betrayed her. She began to look for clues around the abandoned factory, hoping to find the man's whereabouts.

During his search, Jiang Zhi discovered some strange signs. There seemed to be some new scratches on the walls around the abandoned factory, and there were some suspicious footprints on the ground. Jiang Zhi followed these clues and explored forward cautiously.

She came to a secluded corner and found a hidden basement entrance. Jiang Zhi carefully observed the surrounding environment and after confirming that there was no danger, she slowly walked into the basement.

The basement was filled with a damp smell, and the walls were covered with cobwebs. Jiang Zhi walked cautiously, holding a dagger tightly in his hand to prevent any accidents.

Deep in the basement, Jiang Zhi discovered a captive. This person looked very weak, but his eyes revealed a firm belief. Jiang Zhi recognized this person as the one she had rescued in the abandoned factory.

Jiang Zhi hurried forward and untied the man. The man looked at Jiang Zhi with gratitude, tears in his eyes. Jiang Zhi asked why he was imprisoned here again. The man told her that after leaving the abandoned factory, he was discovered and captured by people from a mysterious organization.

Jiang Zhi felt guilty, thinking that she had implicated this person. She decided to help him again and take him away from this dangerous place.

However, just as they were about to leave the basement, they suddenly heard footsteps. Jiang Zhi stopped in her tracks, knowing that the mysterious organization had caught up with them.

She quickly took the man into a dark corner and nervously watched the entrance. A moment later, a group of assassins from a mysterious organization walked in. They were holding weapons and their eyes were filled with murderous intent.

Jiang Zhi held the dagger tightly, her heart filled with tension and fear. She knew that this was a battle of life and death, and if she could not escape successfully, both she and that person would face the threat of death.

The killers from the mysterious organization began to search in the basement, and their footsteps were getting closer and closer. Jiang Zhi's heartbeat was getting faster and faster. She didn't know how to deal with this dangerous situation.

At this moment, the man suddenly gently pulled the corner of Jiang Zhi's clothes and pointed to a corner of the basement. Jiang Zhi looked in the direction of his finger and found a hidden passage there.

Jiang Zhi was delighted, knowing this was their only chance to escape. She quietly led the man towards the hidden passage.

At the entrance to the tunnel, Jiang Zhi paused and carefully observed the passage. It was dark and filled with a pungent odor. Jiang Zhi didn't know what lay at the end of the tunnel, but she had no choice but to take the risk.
