Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen stood side by side at the highest point of the city. The city stretched out beneath them, bustling with traffic and people, still prosperous, as if the thrilling struggles of the past were just an illusory dream. Yet, the scars on their bodies and the unforgettable memories in their hearts were a stark reminder of the difficulty and hardship of their journey.
Jiang Zhi's gaze was deep and far-reaching. As she gazed at the staggered skyscrapers in the distance, memories of the past surfaced involuntarily. From her difficult life in the countryside, to her diligent medical training after being secretly adopted by her grandfather, to Tang Junxi's death, and the numerous crises she faced after embarking on her path of revenge, every scene played out before her like a movie. Those pains, those despairs, those moments on the brink of life and death, once weighed so heavily on her heart, but now, they have transformed into a deep resilience and strength within her.
Shen Qingchen tilted his head slightly, looking at Jiang Zhi. His eyes were filled with affection and tenderness, with a subtle hint of guilt. In this turbulent struggle, he knew he had hurt Jiang Zhi, and those decisions made out of helplessness had left an indelible scar between them. Although he later tried his best to make amends and redeem himself, he understood that some pain could not be completely healed in a short period of time.
“Jiang Zhi, we have finally reached this point.” Shen Qingchen said softly, with a hint of emotion and relief in his voice.

Their gazes once again drifted off into the distance. Every corner of the city seemed etched with their story. The members of the mysterious organization that had once hunted them had now collapsed, their crimes exposed to the world and brought to justice. Jiang Yao, the woman driven mad by jealousy, would spend years in prison, paying the price for her actions.
"I still remember that when I first met you, you were like a shining star that suddenly broke into my life." Shen Qingchen's eyes were full of memories. "At that time, I never thought that we would experience so many things together and that our destinies would be so closely intertwined."
Jiang Zhi smiled softly: "I never thought that my road to revenge would become so complicated, yet so unforgettable because of you."
Behind them, soft sunlight casts a shadow on the ground, outlining their slender figures. Once, they groped their way forward in darkness, facing unknown fears and powerful enemies, each step filled with hardship and danger. But now, they stand in the light, with each other, their children, and hope for the future.
“From now on, we must protect this home well.” Shen Qingchen stretched out his hand and gently held Jiang Zhi’s hand, as if holding the whole world.
Jiang Zhi felt the warmth of Shen Qingchen's palm, and the resentment in her heart had long since disappeared. She knew that in this life-and-death test, their love had become even more indestructible. They had experienced ups and downs together, faced countless difficulties and challenges together, and these experiences became the cornerstone of their love, making them cherish each other even more.
"The children are growing up slowly, and we must provide them with a happy environment to grow up in." Jiang Zhi's eyes were filled with the tenderness of maternal love.
When the child was mentioned, Shen Qingchen's face also showed a happy smile: "Yes, the sister is so cute, and the brother is so sensible, they are our pride."
During those difficult times, their children became their driving force. Jiang Zhi, alone with her children, dodged pursuit, striving to protect them in difficult circumstances. As she watched them grow, her sense of responsibility grew stronger. And though Shen Qingchen had been separated from his children for a while, upon seeing them again, his fatherly love was instantly rekindled, and he vowed to create a safe and warm home for them.
"We want to give them the best education and cultivate them into loving and responsible people," said Jiang Zhi.
Shen Qingchen nodded in agreement: "I will work hard to run the family business and lay a solid material foundation for them. At the same time, I will also spend more time with them and participate in their growth process."
They began to plan their children's future, imagining them happily studying and playing in school, making friends, and pursuing their dreams. They hoped that their children would have a carefree childhood, without having to go through the pain and suffering they had experienced.
