Jiang Yue took the box curiously and opened it. It contained an exquisite stethoscope with her name engraved on it.
"Wow, so beautiful! Thank you, brother!" Jiang Yue exclaimed in surprise, with tears of emotion in her eyes.
"Silly girl, haven't you always wanted a stethoscope of your own? Of course, brother will satisfy you." Shen Yi gently touched Jiang Yue's head.
Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen watched this scene, their hearts filled with warmth. They recalled every little detail of their children's childhood, the happy times and difficult times they had spent together, all of which seemed to flood back into their minds at this moment.
"Do you remember when they were little? Yueyue always followed you like a little follower, and Yiyi was thinking about how to protect her sister all day long, even though she was just a child." Jiang Zhi leaned on Shen Qingchen's shoulder and said softly.
Shen Qingchen smiled and nodded, “Yes, time flies so fast, in the blink of an eye they are so old. We are old too.”
"Who said you are old? In my heart, you will always be the handsome, omnipotent Shen Qingchen." Jiang Zhi raised his head and looked at Shen Qingchen with love in his eyes.
Shen Qingchen gently kissed Jiang Zhi's forehead and said, "Thank you for your hard work over the years. If it weren't for you, I really don't know what I would do."
"We are a family, why say these things. Besides, I never feel hardship when you are by my side." Jiang Zhi held Shen Qingchen's hand tightly, as if to hold this happiness in his hand forever.
Just then, Jiang Yue and Shen Yi ran over and snuggled up to their parents.
"Mom and Dad, what are you talking about?" Jiang Yue asked, blinking her big eyes.
“Nothing, just reminiscing about the fun things that happened when you were little.” Shen Qingchen said with a smile.
"Mom and Dad, we will definitely be filial to you in the future and let you live a happy life." Shen Yi said firmly.
Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen were deeply moved after hearing this. They knew that the children had grown up and knew how to be grateful and give back.
"Okay, Mom and Dad believe in you. As long as you are happy, it is our greatest happiness." Jiang Zhi stroked the children's cheeks, his eyes full of love.
